Perchstar has many flaws. Her insistence on keeping her outward presence neutral causes her inward emotions to often be a mess, which may cloud her judgment far more often than she would like. Her self-loathing and doubt used to slowly poison her from the inside. With help from new friends, this is gradually being remedied; however, it resurfaces on occasion, often with disastrous results. When she feels, she feels deeply; her anger and sorrow both run as deep as the river. This is why she thinks that she should not have emotions. As leader, her number one responsibility is to her Clan, and emotions may get in the way. She can be unintentionally blind or unfeeling, due to her lack of social skills and her calm facade. Her love of the Code and of justice often makes her unrelenting in matters of mercy. She is slow to forgive. If you make an enemy of her, which is not easy to do, then she will likely be your enemy for life. However, she is more than her flaws, despite what she herself thinks. She is intelligent and thoughtful, often seeing details that others may miss. She is logical and good at solving problems. She is fair and reasonable, with sensible punishments for code-breaking, and lenient when the circumstances call for it. She is able-- though it is difficult-- to put her own feelings aside and be objective in situations that might cause her to necessarily turn against a Clanmate or friend. She is often kind, and even warm, to her friends and Clanmates, especially kits, though it can turn out to be a bit awkward. She is a patient teacher who has raised many apprentices to be successful warriors. She can see the good and bad in a cat, and objectively evaluate their best and worst points. She can quickly understand and take control of a dire situation. Overall, she has many personality traits that make her an excellent leader, whether or not she can see them for herself. 
Perchstar is a tall, sleek gray and white she-cat with icy blue eyes. Her facial expression is usually neutral and emotionless. She has a long tail tipped with white, as well as white paws and a white chest, with a small ruff of white fur around her neck. Her right ear is torn. Cats who don’t know her see no sign of emotion on her face, or anywhere; cats who know her can recognize small body language, like the flick of the tail or an ear, or a slight widening of the eyes, or the straightening of shoulders may convey her feelings.

PERSONALITY
Iceheart is a young warrior who, during her time as an apprentice, always held herself as though she was already a warrior. She moves with purpose and speaks with those who she wants to form an alliance with. While she understands the inherent trust and allyship within a clan, Icepaw believes that further relationships must be developed to ensure that trust.
Since her exerience with the Dark Forest, she is more withdrawn, and struggles more than ever to make conversation with her fellow cats. She looks to her leaders for guidance and is disappointed with the decisions being made by her clan. She is tired and does not know how to better uhold herself, but her self-preservation keeps her from trying to do anything worthwhile of change.

APPEARANCE
Iceheart is a fluffy dark brown she-cat with extra fluff around her neck as though she is wearing a fur-lined coat. Her paws are all ice white that creep slightly up her legs to give off the impression of frost growing up her paws. This is vitiligo which is starting to form around her face as well, growing across her body. Her amber eyes are steady and stare at those she is speaking to while her expression remains impassive. She rarely emotes and her eyes hold a tired fatigue.
HISTORY

Iceheart was a young cat born into ShadowClan. When she was a kit and apprentice, despite her young age, she was already ambitious and aiming to develop relationships with the cats within her clan. If she could, she tried to develop allyship with those outside of her clan as well. But given her age, the soonest she could hope to do that would be during her apprenticeship.
She spent her days wandering around the ShadowClan camp when she was not so tired as to require naps. She was fairy successful in speaking with her clanmates, making several friends along the way. It felt, for a time, that Icepaw was on her way to becoming an important member of ShadowClan.
Following the death of Ratrunner, Icepaw grew more withdrawn. There was a coldness in her heart that couldn’t seem to be warmed by anyone around her. She still had that desire to speak with other cats, but she struggled to do so. With the Dark Forest cats surrounding her, her mind went into survival mode. She appeased the Dark Forest cats, getting on their good side and trying to appear as though she wanted to be cared for by them. She didn’t care what it looked like to her fellow clanmates; she was operating on pure survival instincts. She continued to draw interest from Dark Forest cats like Stagshade and Rainstrike. Eventually she was granted her warrior name, but it was given to her by a Dark Forest cat named Webwhisper, as Murkystar had died shorty before the ceremony; her name of Iceheart was granted to her, further cementing her cold outlook on the world.
She was given Honeypaw as her first apprentice and she grew very close to him. His bright and bubbly personality was a light during the dark part ofh er life and she grew quite attached to him. She also grew close with her childhood friend Forestpaw, who had earned the name of Forestbreeze. She continued making friends in her clan, most notably with Nightstalker who would go on to become the leader of the clan. The closer she grew to others, the more she started to feel at ease and accepted.
