PostA Deputy Reminder

The deputy requirements have been edited, so I thought I might as well make this.

THE SITE RESPONSIBILITIES OF LEADERSHIP INCLUDE:
  • Leading the Clan into battle.
  • Leading the defense of Clan territory.
  • Regularly attending Gatherings.
  • Regularly making ceremonies, with as little delay as possible.
  • Training apprentices if their warriors are already overburdened with them.
  • Banishing and accepting members.
  • Being as active as possible.
  • Making Clan decisions about war, prey, borders, etc. etc.

Being a leader requires these things. Choosing a deputy is a big decision, because they will eventually have to take up leadership themselves. So the deputy requirements have been altered to read this:

"There are no real requirements to becoming deputy, besides acquiring the rank of warrior. Any warrior may be picked as long as the leader feels that they are responsible, active, and dedicated enough to become the head of the Clan. The leader has the right to change their deputy at any time if they do not feel that their current deputy is responsible enough to handle leadership.

However, an ideal deputy should be all of these things. The guidelines for picking a good deputy include:

  1. Have gained the rank of warrior.

  2. Have mentored at least one apprentice.

  3. Are responsible and active.

  4. Are a good roleplayer that types with proper grammar and spelling.

  5. Have been a warrior for at least three months in their Clan."

So take this into account, leaders. A bad deputy picked will just hurt the Clan and site later on.

The warrior code does state that a deputy must have had an apprentice. We should make it so that is a requirement unless no warrior in the clan has had one.

These are less requirements and more of guidelines of how to pick a deputy; any warrior in the Clan can be picked as long as the leader feels that they are qualified enough to act as a successor.

A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
