Though he inherited the lithe, wiry frame so common among WindClan warriors, he did so in a smaller size. He doesn’t mind much; he can’t keep pace with the moor’s fastest rabbits, but his impeccable balance and skill in climbing set him apart. His long, thick fur, sporting a perpetually windblown look, is black with two white splotches: one below his chin, the other on his right front paw. His wide yellow eyes are friendly and bright. One scar beneath right eye Four parallel scars on left flank Some gray hairs on muzzle DESPITE YOUR LACK OF BLOWING OVER In many ways, Raventail is exactly what he seems to be: a genuine, laid-back cat who holds neither grudges nor grand ambitions. Tales of adventure enthrall him as they would a kit, and unexpected complements leave him flustered. Always ready with a smile and an outstretched paw, he aims to see the best in others—and, when it comes to friends and Clanmates, struggles to recognize their faults. Above all else, he follows his heart; as his heart is the caring sort, this tends to mean throwing himself into danger for the cats he loves without paying mind to rules, consequences, or his own limits. Despite what his casual attitude suggests, Raventail harbors a deep sense of responsibility and an even deeper need to be trusted. For fear of giving others reason to doubt him, he tries to bear his burdens alone until he’s overwhelmed. He grooms himself before and after every outing, and spends as much time washing himself in the river as swimming in it. When meeting cats from other Clans, he enjoys showing off his webbed paws. He has his father’s tall, lanky frame, with a long tail to match. Though he’s proud of his mismatched eyes—one blue, one orange—he prefers not to mention being deaf in his left ear. Though he’s reliable enough in a crisis, few hobbies, dreams, or duties can hold his interest for long. His pride and flighty nature might make him seem shallow, but he’s surprisingly observant of his surroundings and the cats who occupy them, and holds a talent for detail that shines brightest in how he decorates his nest and pelt. Snowflight places an almost frantic importance on following his ancestors’ rules; however, this devotion is born from fear. When code-breaking gets involved, he’d rather keep a secret than call down StarClan’s wrath—and if there’s one promise he’ll never break, it’s a promise to keep his mouth shut.
