Move and Play [Closed]

Stormbringer didn't know how she did it but she managed to keep the kits together long enough to get to the Broken Pools. She didn't know why exactly she had offered to take them in the first place but there wasn't going back on it now. They had so much energy, always asking about the different things they saw on the short trip to the pools, it was entirely exhausting and now she understood why Queens needed a break. This honestly was making her question if she wanted kits herself later down the road. She loved the Riverclan kits but did she want her own? Could she deal with this all the time? She didn't know.

She settled herself beside one of the Shallow pools, her thin tail curling around her paws. Amber eyes remaining on the kits. "Stay close to me alright?" She told them, her voice firm. She wasn't going to let any of them go missing on her watch.. plus she didn't need an eagle getting a hold of them either. "I need to be able to see you at all times." This reminder was a little gentler but still. "And remember to have fun."

Curlkit was invited to go with the others to the broken pools. She never left camp so she was really excited. Once they reached the destination she nodded along to what Stormbringer said. She padded over to the water to look inside. The water showed her reflection and she giggled as she wiggled her curled ears and curled tail making the water Curlkit move.

After all of his previous attempts to leave camp had been met with swift and utter failure, Snowkit had been shocked to hear one of the warriors had agreed to chaperone him and a few nursery-mates on an trip to the Broken Pools. How she’d gotten Addershade and Lightsong’s agreement, he almost didn’t want to know. That shock had quickly given way to joy, which had yet to wear off, judging by how he hopped along behind the aforementioned warrior. Stormbringer had turned out to be quite interesting herself; all those scars must’ve come from somewhere. But the moment they reached the pools, Snowkit just about forgot her. He continued to bounce as Stormbringer explained the rules. Stay within her line of sight and have fun. Being out of camp wasn’t so hard after all—why couldn’t it have happened earlier?

Curlkit had already wandered off. Snowkit darted after her, stopping just short of the edge of the pool she was staring into. ”You can look at your reflection at camp,” he said (after checking his own and smoothing down a particularly curly bit of fur on his chest, naturally). He bumped his shoulder to hers. ”Let’s go swimming, come on!”

The reeds whispered as Stormbringer and a trio of kits paraded across the wetlands. Tawnykit's face was plastered with a large grin as she stuck to the warrior's side like a burr. The tortoiseshell's tail sat high, and her amber eyes sparkled in the sunlight. Usually it was against the rules to leave camp as a kit. But Stormbringer was their escort, and Tawnykit would never turn down a warrior-funded adventure. Especially since Curlkit and Snowkit were coming along. As her nursery-mates, they just had to know how studious and composed she could be, even on a quest such as this one.

Tawnykit had already wormed her way into a friendship with Driftingpaw, Nightpaw, and Poppypaw, however the outside of camp had lost it's mystery for them. It would seem foolish for Tawnykit to get so excited in front of her older friends. But in kit kind, she could act as a kit. A mature kit, of course.

The tortoiseshell made it clear that she needed to stay by Stormbringer's side at all times, as to not upset Torrentstar when he heard of their journey. Curlkit and Snowkit weren't so pensive, opting to go swimming. Tawnykit puffed out her chest, already knowing the correct response. "We can only go swimming if Stormbringer says it's okay. We don't want our apprentice ceremonies delayed!" But as her two denmates ran off, Tawnykit threw caution to the wind in the name of friendship, let off a giggle, and gave in to her kittish desires. "Oh! Urgg... Fine! Wait for me!"

Stormbringer couldn't help but the soft giggle that escaped her. It had been a while since she had seen the pure joy that kits gave off, the fun they had. She was too busy dealing with all the warrior things, she had to help Ivybrook, and Honeytongue. Not to mention the apprentice's she had to help train. Even if the kits were a pawful it was still a well needed break. It was a relief for her to say the least.

"You guys can swim, but be careful of the cold." The warrior said getting settled in her spot. "If you need my help don't be afraid to ask okay? Help each other too." She told them. She didn't really want to do too much unless she had to.

Curlkit ran towards the pools but then skidded to a stop before she could jump in. “Ummm how do I swim? My tail would get in the way.” she mewed looking at her weird looking tail that was curled on her back.
