littermates: none
appearance: auburn is a fairly average size for an apprentice-aged cat. however, reminiscent of his father, he is slim and has a light build. his pelt is a patchwork of brown and white fur, with his most notable marking being a white streak cutting through an almost entirely brown mask. striking blue eyes stand out against his coat. he was born with a rather long tail, one that almost seems too long for his body given how lithe he is.
personality: as one could assume, any child of Stoatstar and Appledapple is far from well-adjusted. auburn has a short-temper, mostly with those he is unfamiliar with, and lacks the restraint or guilt of his mother. this tends to make him come across as reckless and unpleasant (which he generally is). life as a rogue hardened him to becoming self-focused as a means of survival. loyalty isn't his strong suit by any means and, in his eyes has to be deserved. despite the undesirable parts of his personality, Auburn has learned to be calculated and cunning much like his father, but without as much of an emotional disposition underneath the stony exterior. he learns best by butting heads and prefers blunt conversation rather than holding his tongue. auburn hardly ever holds grudges and often looks at what is in front of him rather than the past.
the whole world was just a pawstep away - after a perilous journey from the 'stoneden' where chad lived with his parents, he reaches his destination of thunderclan's camp. quickly, he realizes it has been abandoned by the clan.
after everything, it was all nothing - living alone in thunderclan's camp, chad struggles to keep himself fed and cared for. with little food, and no one to tend to his wounds, the one thing he is grateful for is shelter.
ghost town - chad's peace in the desolate thunderclan camp is interrupted by the arrival of unfamiliar characters.
the plundering of sunningrocks - while out exploring the abandoned thunderclan territory, chad stumbles upon a loner lounging on sunningrocks.
clanless catch - on a patrol of one, chad ends up locked in combat with a weasel while attempting to catch a mouse.
making it up - reminiscent of clan life, chad, sleepycloud, and stormsong patrol the territory in search of prey where they meet hungry predators attempting to do the same.
can you hear the drumming - mottlestar explains the rising issues between thunderclan and skyclan, announcing they wil lgo on the offensive. chad becomes auburnpaw and a full apprentice of thunderclan.
feathered friend - vinecrawler takes auburnpaw onto the territory to provoke a fight with an owl.
so loathsome; so lonesome - the rather imperfect pairing of auburnpaw and kestrelpaw is sent out on a simple apprentice task, something that might be too hard for them to manage.

littlesplash of riverclan tom tier 1 classic medicine cat daceheart [npc] x volepounce [npc]
appearance: a small-statured grey and white pelted tom with light markings on the grey parts of his coat. all of his features are reminiscent of his name, including little ears, paws and a short tail. little has one green eye and one clouded eye from an infection that he was born one that clears up quickly as he grows, but leaves behind a permanently clouded eye.
personality: little is soft-spoken but incredibly friendly. he loves learning new things and has an innate curiosity for the world around him. often his own insecurities hold him back from doing things, and forwardness is a trait he will have to learn and grow into as he ages. he can come across as reserved or standoffish without meaning to, despite a simple longing to become everyone's best friend.
innocent wandering - while the clans are briefly settled at the southern lake, littlekit wanders around, keeping himself busy.
little paws, lofty goals - lost in his contemplations about making a difference in the clan, littlekit stumbles into an encounter with the warrior, larkspring.
grace - poppyshine approaches littlekit for a check in on the youngest members of riverclan. he presents her with a paw-selected pebble.
under the stretching sky - unable to sleep one night, littlekit wanders into camp, where he is joined by the warrior cindersky.
creepy crawlies - littlekit and his denmate, mossykit, encounter a beetle.
comfort in a cold space - curiosity brings littlekit to interrupt egretswoop as she is busy preparing a pelt.
drove me to madness - littlekit's unyielding goal to help his clanmates leads him to visit a sick perchstar.
january 2024 riverclan camp gathering - as most of riverclan heads to meet the other clans at the gathering, littlepaw stays behind with some of his clanmates in camp.
communications - shortly after becoming a medicine cat apprentice, littlepaw attends a meeting with the deputy and medicine cat of shadowclan.
chicken soup for the soul - after exchanging herbs with shadowclan, littlepaw is able to successfully administer the cure to some of his sickest clanmates!
the policy of truth - with strength returning to the clan, perchstar calls a meeting. here, littlepaw learns how beechfang murdered a previous riverclan medicine cat.
hunted - the clan is woken with a start, hunted down by overwhelmingly vicious predators, and flees their lake-side camp.
hallowed eyes - after traveling for an entire day, littlepaw stops with some of his clanmates to attempt basic healing on cindersky, after a wolf bit off her tail.
rest and healing - as riverclan returns to their home in the forest, littlepaw gets to see their ancestral lands for the first time.
dovepaw's moonstone journey - due to lacking much knowledge of the forest, littlepaw's first trip leading dovepaw to the moonstone includes a few wrong turns, but they make it regardless.

littermates: crakekit, fidgetkit, stoatkit, and rapidkit
appearance: a lean and muscular she-cat whose frame boasts her proud windclan heritage. while she has a mostly white pelt, there are tan accents on her paws, tail, and face. heather mostly takes after her mother in appearance and inherited her curled ears. she has a bright pink nose and piercing blue eyes.
personality: heather possesses traits from both of her parents, inheriting her mother's impulsive spirit and her father's devotion to his position and clan. from kithood, she is confident in her standing within the clan due to sootstorm's role as deputy plus the abundant love and care of her kin. however, this leads her to be overconfident and self-assured in areas she shouldn't be. heather is friendly and devoted to those she deems worth of her dedication, and snappish and short to those outside of her circle. her high expectations of herself expand to those around her, often leaving her in strained or tension circumstances. given her headstrong stubbornness, heather has a hard time accepting feedback or criticism and has to eventually learn that her mannerisms might not be the best approach, and that relying on others is the best way to grow (overcoming her quick and finite judgement of other cats).

littermates: nettlekit
appearance: vibrant orange tabby with a slender frame and medium-length, fluffy coat. his eyes are a pale amber. the most notable feature of crab is his lack of tail, which he was born without.
personality: crab is... a great deal of many things. he is often jovial and outspoken, known as a friendly face to all of his clanmates. his extroverted nature often means he is the first to try things, and his lack of forethought means those are often things he shouldn't be trying. despite lacking any malice, crabkit is known for getting himself into ridiculous situations and silly antics.
despite the above being a core part of his personality, crab is also known for his angry outbursts. these very rarely are directed at shadowclan cats, but usually occur when he feels another cat is being wronged. he likes to butt into circumstances that he shouldnt. his sense of what is right and wrong is easily swayed based on who he is around, and the warrior code is a loose guide to him at best.
