Despite the wounds that stung his pelt, something buried deeper, like a thorn in his pelt... Chad's failure. He'd ignored warnings to stay in camp and give himself time to heal up. The young tom had one goal in mind, to catch a single piece of prey to relieve the churning hunger in his stomach. Further, still, to prove that he could. A sour look crossed his expression as he darted through the snow. Today, the cold was welcome as it numbed his paws and freshly clawed pelt.
