ShadowClan had Carrionplace, so I thought the other Clans might benefit from an extra area.

I know that ThunderClan has Sunningrocks and ShadowClan and WindClan have slices of SkyClan territory, but I felt that these places were too hotly contested and too easily taken away to really count, so I added some more permanent areas.

Of course, RiverClan gets the short end of the stick with no real permanent extra...

The tide of new characters has slowed down considerably, and while Shad did an absolutely sexy job with Site Cats, some things still need to be updated and organized.

The rules have been updated to make the site a lot less restrictive. I still firmly believe in the rules we had before, but we've come to realize that they just aren't the best for a site like WCC. I will provide a list of changes here, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you go through and reread Roleplaying Rules.

Temporarily, admin powers have been suspended. We don't know the specific cause, but we know for sure it wasn't from some kind of hacking attempt. Everything else appears unchanged, so don't panic. All active members with approved characters, it is paramount that you post here. With SkyClan gone and multiple lives in place, we're in need of updating both the groups and Site Cats. They haven't been really updated properly since the beginning of April, so I really want to get back into the habit of updating it regularly.

The last proposal to get rid of SkyClan was only defeated by a single vote, and since then lots of people have asked me for a re-vote because of recent events, which have made them regret voting in their favor. Shortly after being saved, most of SkyClan died.

So here is the second SkyClan referendum. The poll is set to end in three days. If you change your mind after voting, you can cancel your vote and cast it again.

So we all know that Opal is a bit of a loose cannon. She has been banned from the site multiple times, banned from chat for her constant temper tantrums, and has had constant warnings about her behavior. Long ago on March 2nd, after a sudden explosion, the holy Mistpelt was formed in her goodness. Lately, people have been extremely rude to each other. Some people think the site should be closed for a bit, but I don't really think that's the way to go. It's unfair to any new people who might join and it'll harm the Clans.

There will not be a January Gathering until further notice. If you're an apprentice and you're fretting since this is the second one missed in a row, don't worry! Despite no Gathering, your requirement is filled. I thought it'd be a bit unfair to delay people's training because of the plot, and because I don't want anybody trying to crucify the story arc.

I know what it's like to be a lower rank for a long time. Sleepystar was a kit for eight months, and it took me a month just to get approved. Smokepaw had a really inactive mentor. Reedheart right now took a terribly long time to become a warrior. And yeah, it does suck. There's not much to do as an apprentice without breaking the warrior code or just doing your border patrol topic again.

But I also know what it's like to be a mentor and I know how it's like for the leader, which sucks a whole lot more.

I believe this is the millionth time I've deleted this announcement to start again.

I closed all the usergroups. There. Why? Because remember that we're trying to keep the groups updated and correct. Let me explain.

It gets me in a really sour mood when I go through the trouble of cleaning the groups out and then someone removes themselves from a group right under my nose so they can be a different color.

It gets me even more pissed off when an inactive person that doesn't roleplay at all is entered into one of the groups because they don't want to be colorless.

There are four seasons, four trees, and I think like initially intended, four Clans. All four Clans surround and center around Fourtrees, which they all have direct access to. Along with that, they're separated by big and easy to see cuts in the landscape. Not only that, but those cuts in the landscape are dangerous to cross and almost isolate the Clans from each other. So I recently made that traditionalism thing because of this traditional naming blog I had been cruising around for a couple of hours. It has come to my attention that a hurdle in the way of the plot's success is the ability to use the battle system, so let's have this plot leap over it by reviewing the system and its rules. If not, then this plot may very well leap a couple inches off the ground, snagging its legs on the hurdle before crashing down and landing painfully on the turf face first.
