July Gathering 2015

"Fine. Why are you asking?" Rabbitpaw spoke a little too enthusiastically as if he had something to hide. He'd been coached before the gathering that he was expected to be careful what he revealed at gatherings. So he spoke oddly, worried he wasn't meant to tell anyone that they'd been involved in a fire, though logically, Thunderclan would have been effected the same.

Viperpaw joined the clearing, following behind his sister, Fawnpaw. He strutted in without a care in the world, chest puffed up in a display of pride and confidence. He'd been told by his mentor that at gatherings, you weren't supposed to show your weakness. That you were meant to look like everything was fine, so he did. A little too much, but that was subjective. He joined his sister near Great rock, and nudged her. "Thinking about talking to anyone?"

Gorsefeather followed his leader into the clearing, finding himself a quiet place to sit. He, as per usual, had no intention of striking up conversation, but if someone spoke to him, he would.

Part of Icepaw wanted to go over and talk to some other cats but whenever he was around large crowds he got really shy. So he sat were he was in a corner and stared at the ground. Maybe someone will want to talk to me? he thought to himself. That's crazy. No one would want to talk to me.

After a little bit of time passing, Thrushstar and Shadowclan finally made it up to the clearing. He motioned them in quietly before trotting up to the Great rock and gracefully leaping to the top where he usually sat. Looking at Breezestar and Falconstar, he dipped his head to both of them, hoping that this gathering wasn't going to be a replay of the last. "Greetings Breezestar, Falconstar," he said respectfully. He wasn't going to say much more because at the moment, he was dreading on the appearance of Thunderclan and Riverclan. He really didn't want to listen to them bicker again.

Fennelcloud followed Thrushstar into the clearing, looking around at the large oaks in the warm night. It was nice to be back again after missing quite a few gatherings due to watching over her kits, but something was a little off. It just felt different. Oh well.

Nightfoot padded into the clearing after Breezestar, looking around before taking her usual place only looking up at the Great rock towards the leaders. She really didn't want to be here after the last gathering, but she was expected to show up and so she would... although it wasn't the same without Featherheart. It felt just a little more empty.

Fawnpaw nuzzled into her brother, "I've been walking around trying to make friends but everyone already has their groups!" She sighed, before sitting with her soft brown fur pressed up against Viperpaw's. "Have you seen mother or father?" She mewed looking around wanting the comfort of her mother. Just then shee noticed the Windclan apprentice and let a little trill of happiness, "Hello! I'm Fawnpaw of Thunderclan and this is my brother Viperpaw! This is our first gathering!" She mewed excitedly as she leaned forward to touch noses, ignoring the strong heather scent from the Windclan cat.

Icepaw was surprised that a stranger would come up to him to say hello. "uhh, hello." Icepaw said shyly. "I'm Icepaw, you are?..." If he was with his own clan he wouldn't be so shy but seeing everyone already gathering together, he felt kindof alone.

IC~ "Fawnpaw!" The fluffy brown and white she-cat mewed, she had a very gentle and sweet appearance. She tilted her head and purred, " Would you like to sit beside me? I'm sure my brother wouldn't mind!" She flicked her tail tip at her brother hoping he'd be nice and not like what he's named after

Eaglepaw padded into the Gathering quietly. He sat down in a corner.

Daisypaw nodded and followed Silkpaw.

"Viperpaw, and I don't mind." The tom meowed, not really caring for the Windclan tom. After all, Windclan had brought them herbs when they were injured. The least he could do was try not to be hostile.

"Umm, ok, thank you. I hope I'm not i-i-intruding" he replied.

Fawnpaw scowled at her brother, What's messing up his fur? She narrowed her eyes and caught sight of Eaglepaw and beckoned him over with her long tail. Wow the whole family is almost here! She turned her attention to her brother and noticed a small piece of fur on his shoulder sticking up. She quickly groomed it down, "You have to look your best Viperpaw did Mother never teach you to groom yourself?" She scolded, her eyes full of amusment

Icepaw saw that the other apprentice could care less about him and he felt the same way. He would probably never see Viperpaw again so what did he care? Icepaw simply stared up at the leaders, expressionless.

Fawnpaw looked away a bit hurt by Icepaw's reaction, she curled her thick tail around her tightly and looked hard at her paws.

Sandpaw padded after her clanmates. The she cat looked around.

Mottlepaw bounced after his Leader. He was so excited to see a gathering. This was his first one! Though he was told to stay with his clan and not to be to friendly with other clan apprentices. He was gonna listen to that advice. Ignoring the urge to go talk the apprentices that were off a bit ways, the black and white cat sat amongst his clan.

Peonypaw decided to go off and sit quietly. The she cat looked around.
