July Gathering 2015

Flamestripe looked out the corner of his eye, suddenly feeling bored at the thought of listening to a long response from Larchleap. But then he tensed when he saw Specklestream. Forcing himself not to bound over to her, he nodded a cool greeting. The past was in the past.

Sunpelt purred in amusement. It was nice for an apprentice to back up her Clanmate, but she had to understand the point of Gatherings. Forcing down his purr so as not to anger the RiverClan apprentice, he admitted, "It really doesn't matter to me. I just like to hear the news, and asking how an apprentice's training is going is polite. The point of Gatherings is to be friendly and share news, and I hope you know that. Don't worry, I don't taunt cats under the truce of StarClan."  As much as Sunpelt was angry, he had to be amused.

Turning back to Mousepaw, he agreed, "Yes, it must be hard. But I'm sure you're getting along great. I was made a warrior about a moon ago," he went on, trying to continue the conversation. "It's very enjoyable, and you must be looking forward to being a warrior."  

Looking back at the other RiverClan apprentice, he asked her again, a little more sharply this time, "What is your name?" If this apprentice was rude again, he would have to escort her over to the other RiverClan warriors so that they could keep an eye on her.

Sunpelt nodded curtly. "May StarClan guide your paws, Dewpaw," he greeted her coolly. He very much disliked this cat, especially so when he saw her impressed look. She obviously did this a lot to cats, making them afraid and scared of her. Well, you can't do that to a warrior, and you can't be impressed, he hissed to himself. "Now, Dewpaw, you probably would very much dislike it if I gave you a lecture of being polite to warriors and apprentices from other Clans, yes?" he asked calmly, forcing his fur not to bristle impatiently.

Sunpelt held back a snarl of anger at this stubborn apprentice. Great StarClan! "Well, you're so arrogant that I doubt you'll listen to me. You just want cats to listen to you. Who is your mentor?" he asked her, knowing what he would do with this silly apprentice.

OOC: Okay, this is my last one.
IC: Sunpelt growled, "Yes, you're right. I was. I was going to tell the deputy of the Clan that her apprentice was acting naughty toward a ThunderClan warrior. But I might as well tell another warrior. Come on, now." He used a sheathed paw to tap her on the foreleg, and led her over to the RiverClan group. He whispered to Specklestream what Dewpaw had done, and then padded over to Cloverpaw and Fawnpaw. He sat down next to them, and curled his tail over his paws. He looked up at the leaders.

OOC: You're way late. And all the Clans are here, so there are plenty of cats. Just so you know............
