May Gathering 2015

The nights were finally starting to grow warmer as newleaf was settling in. It was a perfect night for a gathering underneath the cloudless sky with the full moon shining brightly onto Fourtrees.

The first to arrive was Shadowclan. Thrushstar looked at the empty clearing with curiosity. He wasn't normally the first there. No matter. The gathering was going to start soon either way. Flicking his tail for his clan to follow him, the leader padded into the clearing between the great oaks and calmly took his spot on Great Rock, looking down at his clan. "It's a little nice to be the first ones here," he said to basically anyone who was listening.

Feverflame settled down and stared up at Thrushstar, a purr rising in his throat. "It's beautiful here!" he mewed to himself softly.

Blizzardsky followed behind Thrushstar, giving a nod of agreement. He enjoyed the silence of the large clearing as well. He settled in a comfortable spot, watching the leader hop onto the Great Rock.

Mouseclaw rolled his eyes and sat down a few tail-lengths away from Feverflame. "It feels the same," he grumbled to himself. "Boring and pointless."

Spottedstar stopped at the hilltop with her clan in tow. With the flick of her tail, her and her warrior charged down the slope into Fourtrees. Making her way through the small crowd, she noted the nice night. She made her way on the Great Rock, nodding to Thrushstar.

Coalpaw looked around as she followed her clanmates. She was smiling a little blinking her icy blue eyes.

"Greetings, Spottedstar," Thrushstar said in respond with a small dip of his head. It wasn't much, but it was better than the previous gatherings. He was seriously trying to work on his whole forgiveness thing, but it didn't keep him from feeling a small bit of anger building up inside of him once again. Even though it had been moons since the incident occurred, the Shadowclan leader couldn't help but still feel ill will over it, but he was trying to get over it. Trying as hard as he could. "Is a beautiful night for a gathering, isn't it?"

Duskfall followed behind his leader and his daughter, giving the cats gathered a scan. He relaxed a little when he noticed Riverclan had yet to join, but still felt wary of the multiple cats gathered. While he wasn't going to assume the worst of any cat, he wasn't feeling very optimistic either. However in the name of Starclan, he tried to appear friendly and strike up conversation with the she-cat Feverflame.

"It's a good night for a gathering, isn't it?"



Hawkpaw was wide-eyed and looked like the apprentice she was as she entered the clearing where Shadowclan had already gathered. It was her first gathering, and she was excited to follow her mentor here, but it was a little frightening for her. Thrushstar and the other Shadowclanners, looked huge in her eyes and intimidating. Unwilling to shame her clan, she stood strong, but if she hid a little behind her sister, Coalpaw, no one could really blame her.

"There's already so many cats. Will there be room if the other three clans come as well?" She whispered to her sister, although it was loud enough that any other cats nearby could have heard.

Coalpaw heard her sister and glanced back to her."well..i there will be room."The dark she cat mewed. She thought about it for a moment and said"that and its been down many times before so I'm posititve there's room"She mewed. She could blame her sister if she a little frightened. Heck, even Coalpaw, who looked calm and collected , was a little frightened being her first Gathering she attended she didn't know what happens. She glanced offf in the direction her father went to talk to Feverflame before the dark medicine cat apprentice glanced to her sister, Hawkpaw.

Littlepaw padded next to Coalpaw, widening his eyes at the gathering area. He had yet to see such large trees in his nine moons of life, and it surely fascinated the young Tom. "Wow..." He said.

Jayclaw followed his clan - his ears perked, he was a bit busy to go to the last gathering, and Fennelcloud was to busy with the kits. His head slightly lifted noticing that they were the first ones in the clearing - that was new. The broad tom approached a spot near the front settling down, his gaze flickered towards some thunderclan cats who had made their way in.

It was her first gathering! A small ginger tabby trotted in - her bright amber eyes beaming at everything and everyone - although it was a bit dissapointing not to be the first clan that arrived - but instead it was shadow clan that arrived first. That was a bit different - not that Poppypaw herself had anything against the clan. She just hears some nasty rumors about them, but it might not even be true. Her ears perked as she spotted Littlepaw - the apprentice quickly went over towards him plopping down next to him. "Hey! Our first gathering this is so exciting!" She mewed excidetly ignoring the judgemental looks the shadow clan cats were giving her.

"Yeah!" He replied excitedly. It was so weird, so strange, yet so amazing! The other cats were surely nice, right? He saw that some Shadowclan cats gave them a judgemental look and was concerned before seeing Poppypaw ignored it. He turned back to the area where the leaders were.

Blazingheart came into the clearing with the rest of the clan, followed by Frozenpaw, as usual. The two cats father-son relationship had been growing very strong. The ginger tabby turned to his son. "I'm going to sit with Duskfall, okay? You can join me if you like."

Frozenpaw nodded at his dad's words as he looked around. It was his first time at a gathering...it was so cool! The light grey and ginger tom's amber eyes landed on Hawkpaw. "I'm gonna sit with Hawkpaw, actually," he said to Blazingheart as he padded over to her. Sitting down next to the pretty she-cat, Frozenpaw felt a little shy. "Hi Hawkpaw," he purred quietly.

By the time Fishstar arrived at Fourtrees with her Clan following closely behind, her paws were caked with mud. The recent rainfall could be thanked for that. As she approached the four great oak trees, she held her head high. Although her leadership was new and the Clan was still a little shaken from the death of Sunstar, Fishstar wanted to put up a strong image for RiverClan.. Especially in front of ThunderClan. Though they had lost the battle for Sunningrocks, Spottedstar's Clan would be more hostile than ever once they arrived. With a precise leap, Fishstar landed on top of the Great Rock and sat down a little ways away from Thrushstar. She'd taken over a Gathering for Sunstar before as deputy, but this time, she felt much less awkward.

Falconstar padded into the clearing next, leading WindClan in tow. The Gathering was already full and vibrant when they arrived, and the older leader wordlessly headed for the Great Rock, still able to climb it effortlessly after all these years. He nodded to the leaders already gathered in turn before looking out among the throng of talking cats. Still as lively as ever.
