Skyclan Newsletter | May 2023
Welcome to the Skyclan newsletter! These newsletters will be posted on the 1st of every month, and will recap important events and announcements pertaining to Skyclan, including signal-boosting ceremonies and open threads. If you have suggestions for either the newsletter or something you would like to see more of in Skyclan, don't hesitate to reach out to the clan's High Ranks on the forum or through discord!
Chronological links to important threads related to Skyclan's clanwides, role in sitewides, clan meetings, etc, with a brief explanation of what's going on. Characters should probably be aware of these things in RP.
Current Happenings The days are getting warmer, and Skyclan's hunting patrols are faring well. This month brings several new warriors and apprentices, and the borders seem quiet as Skyclan continues to prosper. Not all is quiet within the clan however, as Falconmoon continues to have frequent nightmares, disrupting his own sleep and that of others who share a den with him despite his changed schedule. In addition, Birdstar has accepted a new face into Skyclan that not everyone seems fond of, but the newcomer isn't without friends.
Seasons of your life - An exiled Windclan warrior by the name of Silverwing has been accepted into Skyclan's ranks by Birdstar, though not everyone is happy about the decision. Regardless, the newest member of Skyclan's ranks is here to stay and seems determined to integrate herself within the clan.
Am I evil, or are your eyes deceitful? - Falconmoon's dreams have reached a boiling point for the young tom, and he seeks out Birdstar, uncaring of who might be watching. The young warrior is clearly distressed, and while his immediate family rallies around him in support, the display has attracted unwanted attention from onlookers too. It's quite clear that Wolfblossom doesn't approve of the attention, with both Thornstalker and Birdstar backing the deputy up. A heated staredown between Wolfblossom and Bloodstrike seemed likely to erupt into something more, but for once it seems that disaster was averted.

Open Thread Listing A Quick Hunt - Or not so quick hunt, because Stoneheart was immediately spotted by a wild hawk. slow and steady - Mistpaw has finally, finally made her first catch! Only for another member of her patrol to be attacked by a hawk, naturally. Rythm - Smokestep is visiting the nursery, talking with Stagkit! Probably not poison - Smokestep has taken a few cats out to look for herbs! I live in the past (I can't die anyway) - Falconmoon was attacked by a hawk while hunting. Come help him fight it off? cats in trees and stuff - Come join Sunfire on a hunting patrol! Holding on to painted stars - Lionpaw has been attacked by a snake! Aftermath - This topic is backdated, please read the note in the first post! A Tiny Wanderer - Rosekit is exploring camp. A New Face - Rosekit has gone in search of apprentices to pester, and found Lionpaw. Beyond our years - Lionpaw, Bloodstrike, Rosekit and Graypaw have struck up a conversation while the apprentices wait to be assigned to patrols.
