"What in the Dark Forest is that?" Lionpaw saw some kind of string-like creature winding toward him across the ground. At first he thought to climb a tree, but on second thought... how hard could fighting this creature be? It had no legs, no claws... it was small too. Lionpaw waited for it to come closer before he struck out with a paw.

Lionpaw used Front Paw Strike, but missed due to Serpentine Movement! -7SP

The snake coiled quickly at the fast movement, hesitated a moment, then struck out with it's own attack. It's teeth caught Lionpaw on the forelimb, but it quickly released and sent the apprentice leaping backward in surprise. How was Lionpaw supposed to know it could do that??? It didn't have legs and yet it could spring forward like it did. What was this thing???

Snake used Serpent Strike, dealing 6 damage and -10SP
