Cries of the Lost [Sitewide Finale]

Smallbean truly couldn't believe it. After all this time, he was finally back in Fourtrees. Ever since they'd been taken here, he'd been waiting for something, anything to happen. And to his luck, Starclan must have heard his wishes. Cats poured into the clearing, and although there wasn't many, he noticed leaders among them. His heart jumped when he saw Shrikestar and Coyotegrin, tears of happiness welling in his eyes. "Shrikestar! Here! I'm here!" Despite his calls, the cat who found him wasn't Shrikestar, but still Windclan to his relief. "Amberstone." He breathed. "I'm so happy to see you." The last he'd seen her she was bloodied and beaten, Nightstar standing atop her. He was glad her wounds healed well. "Oh- um.. I'm fantastic." He watched with wide eyes as she fumbled with the lock, waiting until it was finally open. "Yes!" He thought the name she called him was strange, but he couldn't care less right now. "Thank you so much." He said quickly, jumping out of the cage and ducking beneath a twoleg tree. From beneath it he was able to safely assess what was happening. Dogs, twolegs, clan cats, fightning. He swallowed down the sick feeling in his stomach. His clanmates had risked their lives to come save him, the least he could do was do the same.

Dashing from beneath it, he reached for the closest dog, taking advantage of his small size and agility. Before his claws could reach, he was trampled, getting absolutely stomped on by the dog. Smallbean got so stomped on it's actually crazy. Smallbean got stomped on.

Astershine had given up hope, ready to accept his fate after three... four... he didn't know how many weeks he'd been separated. Every day had been the same, but then Twolegs had taken them for the second time now and transported them to a place he'd never thought he'd see again. It was hard to believe it, but he really was in Fourtrees.

At first, it was only dogs, twolegs, their kits. Then, though, lurking in the Shadows, he noticed movement. Cats he recognized, and didn't recognize, had come for them, and he was overwhelmed with joy and relief. Now standing to his paws, he eagerly waited for the moment he was able to be freed. The cat who'd come to rescue him was one he'd seen around camp before, but hadn't really learned the name of. She was Skyclan, though, and he was thankful.

When he had gotten out of his cage, he scrambled away from it, taking in the scene before him. He made sure to be wary of Twolegs. "Thank you, I'll have to learn your name. I'm Astershine." He muttered briefly before parting, throwing himself into the heat of battle.

Mottlestar watched as the dogs seemed to begin their attacks. Starlingflare was the first to charge after one, and soon enough, she saw more than a few cats joining in. All of them held a familiar face to her, and the small molly wasn't about to stand idly by. Just as she was about to charge, she watched as the beast snapped into Starlingflare, a loud "NO!" screaming from her chest. Fury charged into the small tortoiseshell's veins, the drive to protect not only her Clan, but her clanmates. Charging into the only open spot she could find on the dog, the tortoiseshell practically leaped from her hind legs square onto the canine's head with an angered growl of her own. She felt her claws find purchase in its head, and she used all of her weight to slam it into the ground.

Murkyripple gave a solid nod towards Comfreyheart at her directions. As she watched, the she-cat could only move as stealthily as possible. Weaving through the crowd, it wasn't long before the faintest smell of Riverclan hit her nose. It was buried under the perfumes and thick stink of two-legs, but she still recognized that river from anywhere. Leaping onto the table, Murkyripple gave a nod to the poor, terrified molly inside. "No time for rivalries. Let's get you out." She stated bluntly, her teeth instantly grasping at the cage.

It seemed it would be a bit harder than she initially had assumed, though. It was so close, before snapping right back shut, leaving the calico's ears to twitch with frustration. But she wasn't giving up. Not yet.

Murkyripple has attempted to free Minksplash... and failed!

Minksplash had found herself curled against the back of the cage. Whatever they'd given her, wherever she'd woken up... she didn't like it. But the commotion held a familiar note to it. Most of her surroundings quite frankly terrified her, and she striked out at any two-leg that tried to come near. But that stopped as a familiar scent appeared in front of her cage. Was that... Thunderclan?

Her suspicions were confirmed, but she practically tossed herself back against the cage's walls as the lock sprung right back. "Thank you..."

Spottedfrog ignored Beechfang's excuses, but her tail lashed irritably as she glanced down, watching as Birdstar and several others engaged with a dog. She tensed and prepared to leap down to aid them, but before she got the chance, a furious, familiar yowl sounded, and she glanced over to see Beechfang snatched up by a twoleg. She had no real inclination to help, and it looked like her sister didn't need it as she managed to escape, only to get assaulted again by another twoleg as she attempted to free a cat in one of the cages down the row.

With an annoyed grunt, she turned and sprinted back towards where Beechfang had been, skidding to a halt in front of the cage that held... Plumleaf. That's why the former SkyClanner had been so set on freeing this one. She spared a glance for Beechfang, who was fighting off the twoleg, and hooked her paw on the latch of this cage like she'd done the first time. Yanking backwards, she put all her weight into it... and it snapped open, leaving the medicine cat a free path to escape. She nodded at Plumleaf and then turned again, taking a running jump at the twoleg who held Beechfang. She wrapped her forelegs around the woman's leg and as gravity dragged her downwards, she felt the twoleg's weird fur-pelt shred beneath her claws. Once on the ground, Spottedfrog set her teeth into the twoleg's ankle and bit down - hard.

Spottedfrog has freed Plumleaf and is assaulting the twoleg who has Beechfang.

Beechfang watched as Spottedfrog freed Plumleaf from her cage, squashing the hot spike of jealousy she felt that the half-sister who held no love for her (or Beechfang for her, really) had managed to do what she could not. Still, it was a relief to see that cage door open and Plumleaf freed. She hadn't expected Spottedfrog to turn on the twoleg holding her however, and as the twoleg stumbled and wailed something in pain, Beechfang twisted free, tearing wide gashes in the twoleg's strange pelts and catching some of it's actual pelt along the way. "Thank you." She muttered quietly, for the second time today and in her life she was... grateful for the fluffy she-cat. Beechfang glanced toward her daughter, worry shining in her eye. "Plumleaf, are you okay?" The twolegs didn't seem to have injured her... Not recently, at least, but still... Later, hopefully there would be time to catch up with her. There were several dogs in the clearing, and a few that looked to be in trouble. Not enough trouble, for her liking.

Beechfang has been freed of her twoleg tormentor.

Astershine, she recognized the name vaguely, she thought. "Stoneheart." She dipped her head in acknowledgement. There was no need for thanks, she was only doing what was right. Her fur still bristled at the dogs and the sight of her clanmates fighting, but it seemed like there was another cat in need of being set free of these twolegs, with another cat trying to break the contraption unsuccessfully. "Here, let me try." She mewed, lifting a paw to try and work at the twoleg's foul mechanisms. She couldn't quite seem to get this one yet, however. "Foxdung." She muttered.

The moment the gate opened, Sprucebark gave Storm a big hug and purred loudly.  "Im so glad you found us! Im home... Im home!" a deep purr sounded from him as he held storm close for a second.

He listened carefully to what he said and nodded hurriedly... right they still had a job to do! He saw that Storm was freeing Rowanpaw next and that made his heart flutter... he hadnt seen Rowanpaw in so long and knowing now that he was safe and here too made him all the more confident that things were gonna end up okay.

He darted over to sandyshells cage that was right next to his.

"ok hang tight sandy im gonna get you outta there then we are all gonna get home to Poppyshine"  he promised as he figited with the lock thing.

Luckily! it sprung open and Sprucebark let out a sigh of relief as he pushed to door aside to let his little sister free.  He nuzzled her briefly so glad to see that she was alright.

"ok, be careful there is dogs everywhere.  Twolegs too, just keep low and we are gonna get home"  his voice quivered with excitment.  He had never been so close to being back home for so long and all he wanted was to get back to the warrior den and give his whole clan lots of cuddles with everyone that he had missed so much
