It seemed the foxes were no match for a clearing full of battle-trained cats desperately defending their home. One by one, they each used their last vestiges of strength to shake off their attackers. With a series of pained screeches and half-hearted growls, they turned and crashed blindly out of the camp and into the undergrowth beyond.

The foxes have fled!

A growl escaped Creamsky as the foxes managed to scramble away, watching with narrowed eyes as their tails disappeared through the camp entrance. Slowly his fur started to lie down as he shook his head, turning to glance at his Clanmates. A pawful of them were injured, his ears slicking back as he approached Beetlestrike.

"On your paws," he murmured, offering a shoulder for the young tom to lean on. So many injuries but they didn't have a medicine cat...He could only hope that Birdstar would be able to find Plumleaf and the others... He shook his head with a huff, turning to look at Wolfblossom. "What are your orders?" he questioned, flickering an ear at the direction of the destroyed camp entrance. "...I'm willing to stand guard once we get the injured into Plumleaf's den. Just in case."

The foxes broke and fled, yipping and growling piteously as they did. "Is everyone alright?" She asked, pale gaze sweeping over her clanmates for injuries. Her gaze traveled to her kits, relief flickering across her expression upon seeing that the blood on their pelts was not their own. Emberpaw and Beetlestrike had not been as lucky, nor was Moonlily, however, and she could see how worn some of her clanmates looked.

And- Someone who was not one of her clanmates. Wolfblossom approached the stranger slowly, taking in the short silver spotted fur with a respectful wariness. "You have my thanks for assisting." She mewed quietly, "Who are you? I assume it was the sounds of fighting that drew you here?" The stranger didn't smell like a clan cat, though Wolfblossom kept her fur flat and the wariness she felt off of her expression. She wasn't thrilled that a loner now knew there camp, especially one who was wholly a stranger to her. If she did not prove hostile however, she would simply be escorted out. She had helped against the foxes, and that had been selfless of her. Whoever she was.

With that, she turned to address the clan whilst keeping the stranger within her sight, though before she spoke one of the younger warriors did.

"Thank you, Creamsky." She inclined her head to the younger warrior. "Hazelbriar?" The deputy glanced around for Plumleaf's stand in. It was hardly an ideal situation, Wolfblossom knew, but Hazelbriar was who they had right now. All Wolfblossom knew of were cobwebs, and that wasn't likely to be enough for the wounded today. The foxes had bit deep where they could.

"You all did well defending camp today. I'm proud of you, Skyclan." Wolfblossom began, "It was unexpected, and I don't know what possessed foxes to invade our camp. I do know that they belong in the ground, not fleeing to parts unknown to potentially cause more trouble. I will be organizing patrols to make sure of that. We already have patrols out, and I will not leave camp defenseless." The deputy continued, a sigh escaping her, her claws itched to chase after the foxes and end them all now. Skyclan certainly had capable warriors who hadn't been injured in the fight, but to organize a patrol now would leave the camp much too vulnerable with how many injured there were for her liking. "Birdstar's patrol isn't back yet, and we will have to be on the lookout for them too. I don't think they would have run into the foxes given how wildly they rushed us." Something had spooked them and driven them from their dens, and it was unlikely to have been Birdstar's patrol. As to what, though... It was unsettling. And fourtrees, she realized wearily, was too far to send a runner to inform Birdstar and her patrol of what had happened.

"Anyone who needs to, please go to the medicine den. Even if you think your injuries are mild. I'd rather you not risk potential infection." She'd covered everything, hopefully.

Moonlily's leg was held close to her body as the fox let go and fled, the warrior hissing towards the predator for good measure. Or, moreso, in some semblance of last-minute revenge for what it had done. Her leg certainly stung, and the attempt to even think about putting weight on it send pain rippling up the appendage. At least it wasn't mangled to the point it wouldn't fully heal, but it would definitely be some time before she was back to her normal state. The large molly limped away from the fights to take some time to look at her own wound, biting back the pain that came from her licking the blood away to truly see what it had done. There'd be a rather nasty scar, one that not even her long pelt would cover.

Wolfblossom's call had the warrior's ears perking, and she instantly found Yewfrost's gaze to give him a nod. Marigoldmask was next, to which the molly was trotting over already.

"Are you going to go get that leg looked at?"
"You kidding? No. I can just go get some cobwe-"
"Moonlily, so help me by the stars, go get that looked at. Wolfblossom's orders."
"No! I won't go into camp! I went after the fox, that was i-HEY!"

Marigoldmask had a look of pure unamusemen on her face as the stubborn senior warrior refused. Biting onto the molly's tail, the younger warrior seemed to not be taking any of it, pulling the warrior towards camp. It made Moonlily screech, louder than she had when even being bitten by the fox. "LET GO OF ME! I WILL NOT GO INTO CAMP! I CAN GET COBWEBS MYSELF! IT'S NOT THAT BAD!"

The sound made Marigoldmask's ears flatten, but that was about it as she kept tugging. Moonlily's able claws dug into the ground, keeping her rooted, and hissing with the mixture of pain and frustration that came from her tail being yanked on. She may have been injured, but she was still a stronger, larger warrior than Marigoldmask was. And if she had any say in her life, which she had some, she was not going into camp for such an injury.
