Shrikestar did not expect to hear one of his medicine cats calling for him from the base of the Great Rock. Surprised, he looked down to see urgency in Birchpaw's eyes. He then looked from them to the other leaders on the rock. Or, rather, the one: Nightstar. Awkward enough that they were left there together. Lashing his tail, he quickly jumped down from the Great Rock and went to face his medicine cat apprentice. "What's wrong?" he asked, his ears twitching as he heard Mottlestar get back onto the Great Rock and give her announcements. This was rather unprecedented in his mind. "Did StarClan send you a message?" If there was any reason why Birchpaw would interrupt the Gathering, it had to be important. StarClan was that important.

Snowfoot flushed a bit. Okay, this she-cat was pretty. Come on, Snowfoot! She’s a RiverClan cat! “Yeah, the Twolegs are getting on everyone’s last nerve. My son and his apprentice both recently came back after being captured. I hope RiverClan’s faring all right, not that we’re not, it’s just hard, y’know? All the clans are really going through it right now.”
Snowfoot is talking with Fawneye.
Sunpaw could sense the unease of the other cats as he padded into Fourtrees for his first real Gathering. Why was anyone upset tonight? Tonight was a time for festivities and friendship, not anxiety and ruffled fur! Unimpressed by the foolish concerns of the warriors, the cinnamon apprentice sat down in a spot where he could watch it all unfold.
Lighttail and Sunpaw are both open for conversation.
Sagepaw had been hanging around with the mob of ThunderClan apprentices, but when the arguing started the noise got to be a bit much for her. Every sound in Fourtrees seemed to ring in her head as the fluffy tabby slipped away to the edge of the clearing. Once out of the crowd, she began to pace on her own, clawing at the air and lashing her tail as she acted out imaginary battles in her mind.
Sagepaw is here but very overwhelmed. Feel free to notice the odd behavior, but I wouldn’t interact.

Rookfire quickly headed to the Gathering with Burdockroot. They were late to ShadowClan's group, but they both ended up losing track of time. In this point in time, there really wasn't that much they could talk about on the way to the Gathering. Not like his interactions with Burdock were usually that talkative.
When they arrived at the hill, gazing at the Gathering below, the black tuxedo felt his heavy breath start to slow. They were going to make it, even if they were a little late. "Well, we made it," he said, turning to Bur-
He didn't expect Burdockroot to collapse right next to him at that very moment.
"Burdock!" he shouted instinctively, before putting his brain into medicine cat mode. Realizing he needed to bring her down to the Gathering, the black tuxedo put on her badger pelt to make her easier to carry. Once he had her pelt on, he grabbed her scruff, before placing her on his back. The badger head made him a little top-heavy while pacing down the hill, but that just allowed him to shift Burdockroot's weight more on his back. Still, he couldn't go as fast as he would have liked. Please, StarClan... don't do this...
Once he got down to the Gathering, the black tuxedo made his way to where the medicine cats were gathered, a place he knew like the back of his paw. Dropping Burdockroot gently, he placed her badger pelt back on her. "She fell unconscious on the top of the hill. Please tell me one of you guys brought some emergency herbs." Turning to ShadowClan's leadership, Rookfire called out to Nightstar. "Nightstar! Leopardsun! Burdock's unconscious! It's an emergency!"
Rookfire is treating Burdockroot falling unconscious like a medical emergency and has brought her to the rest of the medicine cats.

Tawnypaw was beginning to feel lonely; all around her, cats were whispering and gossiping about the Clan's news. Spotting a certain cinnamon tom a few tail-lengths away, Tawnypaw weaved her way through the crowd until she was next to Sunpaw. Giving the older apprentice a nod, the tortoiseshell sat down gracefully, her tail wrapping around her tail.

Birdstar
Compared to other Gatherings, the confusion that surrounded this one was mild. If anything, it was peaceful. Still, there was clearly something happening, and the waves of agitation and tension that went through the crowd prickled through Birdstar's own pelt. Perchstar had returned to the Rock, tension collected tight in her shoulders. It wasn't long before Fawnshine arrived to shout up to Mottlestar too, and what appeared to be WindClan's medicine cat... apprentice? came yowling for Shrikestar. Ears flattening, Birdstar almost envied Plumleaf for not being here. And yet, clearly a message had been given to the medicine cats... and SkyClan was missing it. Anxiety started in her chest, heart beating faster.
Despite Mottlestar's absence among them, Nightstar's voice broke over the din to give his announcements. An ear flicked idly in his direction, but Birdstar kept her gaze focused on ThunderClan's leader, whiskers twitching as she watched their little cluster. Though she strained to hear their words, she couldn't pick them out between the Nightstar's yowl beside her and the chatter that filled the clearing below. Mottlestar returned, issuing her own announcements... and Shrikestar left. Birdstar's nose wrinkled and her claws flexed, scraping over stone. What was happening? Had Wolfblossom caught any of it from where she sat? She was tempted to leap off the Rock and join the deputies, see if her sister had any information, but she managed to keep herself in place.
A cat from ShadowClan came to yowl at them now, shouting from amidst the medicine cats that a cat named Burdockroot had fallen unconscious. Based on the urgency, she figured that was ShadowClan's medicine cat... even if it wasn't, there was still a disturbance demanding another leader's attention. Hackles raising and shivering slightly from the chaos, Birdstar yowled simply, "SkyClan will be withholding their announcements until everything is quiet again." There was no point in delivering announcements now, and it'd be disrespectful besides. Angling her head downwards, she called, "Wolfblossom, find out what's happening if you can. And make sure all of our Clanmates are safe." Her tail lashed as she spoke. She didn't wait for her deputy's response before lifting her head to Perchstar and Mottlestar– who she was mildly surprised to see so close, so focused on the clearing below she hadn't noticed the tortoiseshell moving to sit near to herself and RiverClan's leader. Birdstar's eyes were narrowed and her body was tight, but there was no hostility in her features: only confusion, frustration, concern. "What did your medicine cats tell you?" She pressed quietly, urgently, gaze darting between either of them.

Jaypaw had assumed that his interaction with these Thunderclanners were over. He heard the words Firepaw muttered under her breath. 'Oh, really.' He stopped in his tracks, fur bristling. Instead of simply shutting up, this stupid Thunderclanner opted to get the final word. All that Kestrelpaw and Sleepyhollow had said was drowned out by a sudden spike in his anger. He had no more tolerance for these ignorant apprentices. Impulses getting the best of him, he swung around in the blink of an eye and, with a raised, unsheathed paw, swiped his claws down her face. "Maybe this will shut you up, because clearly you Thunderclanners don't know how!"

The clearing's peace was devastated by the will of a few young apprentices, their sharp words and mutual exacerbation leading to the impulsive shedding of blood. Within mere heartbeats after blood was drawn, the moonlight illuminating the clearing was snuffed out by a dense layer of dark clouds. The tree branches began to flail as gusts of wind pushed in from the south. Thunder boomed overhead, accompanied by the occasional crack of damaged tree limbs, threatening to fall at any moment.

Kestrelpaw swung his head around at Jaypaw's words. Heart racing, he dove to block his brother from attacking but was too late. Blood was shed already. Thumping to the ground, his eyes widened as the shadows covered the moon and the branches shook. "Jaypaw... What have you done..." He whispered in awe, fear, with slight disappointment and anger.

The WindClan apprentices claws made contact with Firepaw's right eye, drawing blood just above its lid and trickling into her eye, half blinding her. Not that she needed either when rage took all senses away. This was what she had wanted, but for him to attack after not getting the last word in? Coward.
Her own claws lashed out in retaliation. She had no idea where they landed, but they made contact with his flesh and that was all that mattered. The cats around them began to fade out. It was just her and Jaypaw now. The rumbling overhead might as well have been the breeze.

One moment Leopardsun had been awkwardly, embarrassedly trying to remain polite and keep things peaceful between the Clans; the next Rookfire's voice shouting her name reached her ears amidst the usual chaos. "Please excuse me for a moment," was all she said to her fellow deputies before dashing into the crowd.
"Burdockroot! I'm no medicine cat, Rookfire- I'm not sure what I could do to help. Did you see what happened to her? Any of you?"
She looked around to the other medicine cats, making it clear that her question wasn't just for the ShadowClan warrior.
Several moments later, she caught the sound of angered shouts- and then the sky went dark, followed by thunder. StarClan was evidently displeased with something that was happening somewhere; the specifics uncertain.
The deputy shot a single bitter glance toward the cloud-covered moon before returning to the task before her, hoping that no ShadowClan cats had been involved in whatever scuffle had disrupted this particular Gathering.
Please. Let them, at least, be someone else's problem.

Leaders were leaving and rejoining the rock, deputies pulling away, his one medicine cat fainted, thunder and storm rolled over the great moon in the sky and Nightstar gave a big sigh. "Yeah. I'm not sticking around, I'll hear your announcements next time. Right now, however, I cannot be bothered by the state of things." Nightstar meowed to any cat that may be listening to him in that moment. "Shadowclan! We're leaving!" Nightstar yowled before jumping from his spot on the great rock. He was quick to make his way over to his deputy, collapsed medicine cat, and Rookfire. "We'll reconvene and try to figure this out later, lets get everyone home. Rookfire, if you can carry Burdockroot, and Leopardsun if you can make sure no one gets left behind." The tom barked, before making his way to leave Fourtrees.

Mottlestar dipped her head to Birdstar at her note. However, she couldn't blame the Skyclan leader for being curious. It seemed to be something being shared with all Clans, and unfortunately, it seemed the chaos of the gatherings weren't being spared from them this month. "Fawnshine told me of a vision she got. Cats suddenly fading out of view, and it looked like she was shown a cycle of seven days. Two-legs, and clanmates calling out for help. In short, I think we are meant to come back in seven days as a way to help our lost clanmates." She spoke quietly, but glanced over to Perchstar to see if the Riverclan leader had received news of the same.
As she was waiting, though, the sky darkened. Immediately, the molly rushed to the edge of the rock to try and find the source only to find... her daughter? Engaging in some type of brawl with another apprentice? "Enough!" The mother's voice boomed out, fighting above the rain and clouds. For such a small molly, the amount of power she could get out of her voice was almost frightening. As Nightstar called for his clan to leave, Mottlestar dipped her head. "Thunderclan! We will be leaving as well! I want all apprentices to meet with me once we are home!" She didn't want anything to continue, and before the molly lept off the rock, she turned to dip her head to the leaders who were still there.
As she lept, though, she practically beelined for her daughter. A look of great disappointment was stern on her features, and she looked at both apprentices. "The shame you two have brought is one I cannot state. I do not know what started this, but I expect this to not happen again. You may not be of my clan, but it is a decree from Starclan that all of us keep the peace this evening. Firepaw, you will go to Fawnshine once we are home." Her tail danced with great agitation, before leading the rest of her clan out and towards home.
Thunderclan is leaving the gathering after Shadowclan!

Snowfoot stiffened as voices raised and shadows covered the moon. ThunderClan and WindClan apprentices. She had been concerned when Nightstar beat up a young warrior, but this made it look as if WindClan didn’t teach their apprentices any manners at all! And of course there was the infamous elder incident… Had Nightstar been provoked after all?
Speaking of Nightstar, he was now calling for ShadowClan to leave the Gathering. Snowfoot stood up and flashed an everything-is-fine smile at Fawneye. “Sorry, but it seems I’m leaving now, um, maybe I’ll see you here again sometime?”
Snowfoot is leaving the Gathering. Lighttail is leaving as well.

Wolfblossom nodded as Birdstar called down to her. The panic among the medicine cats and leaders leaving and returning to the rock was worrying, but from what she could see nobody in Skyclan seemed to be involved in the disorder. "I'll do th-" She began, when the sudden shadow above and crack of thunder split the air. Wolfblossom stood, fur bristling as she looked out over the gathering. Two apprentices had gotten into a scuffle it looked like, and Wolfblossom was very relieved to realize that she didn't recognize them. They weren't Skyclan. "Birdstar! We... Should go. It's not one of our cats that were involved in the fighting but if things go bad I want our clanmates out of danger." Memories of the last time a gathering had ended like this made the deputy shiver.

Moonpaw shivered as a breeze swept through fourtrees, bringing with it darkness and the rumble of thunder. She wasn't sure what was happening, but no doubt it had something to do with a gaggle of apprentices she didn't recognize a ways off. They weren't Shadowclan, and thus were unimportant. Something was going on with her own clanmates and that was more concerning, Burdockroot being carried out by Rookfire. Nightstar, who had begun the announcements earlier, was calling for them to leave, and Moonpaw had no problem following. Whatever situation this was to end the gathering early, it was beneath her and beneath Shadowclan.
Wolfblossom is advising Birdstar to get Skyclan out of here. Moonpaw has followed Nightstar out and wants no part of the nonsense.

Poppypaw snarled harshly at Jaypaw, but didn't respond. Truth be told, he was more bark than bite, and the last thing he really wanted was an all-out brawl in the Gathering of all places. If Jaypaw would just leave them alone - which he seemed like he was doing - everything would be fine.
And the dark ginger ThunderClan apprentice spoke again. And Jaypaw attacked her in return.
Of all of the first gatherings he could have been in, he was not expecting a fight to occur. In front of his own eyes, nonetheless. His first instinct was to jump into the fray, try to break it up, but he realized that he'd just end up a casualty of both of the rage-filled cats. When Mottlestar jumped down in front of the two fighting cats and scolded them (he wasn't sure that Jaypaw would listen to her though, despite her being ThunderClan's leader), he took it as his signal to leave with his clan, quickly making his way to the leaving ShadowClan cats.

Rookfire nodded to Leopardsun when she stepped down. "Burdock and I were running to the gathering, and she suddenly fell down. I carried her on my back down to let you guys know about that. I couldn't feel her heartbeat while I was carrying her, so I was worried that she's in critical condition." As he spoke, he realized that there was another variable that could explain why he couldn't feel her heartbeat back then. "I was wearing her badger pelt at the time to make it easier to carry her, though, so I might have misjudged it." Placing his paw on her chest, he breathed out a sigh of relief.
"'Kay, her heart is beating," Rookfire said, sighing. "I overreacted." Well, guess there was no reason to leave the gathering n-
Clouds suddenly filled the night sky, covering the moon and signaling the end of the Gathering. Never mind! Did a fight break out in the Gathering again? When Nightstar told Rookfire to carry Burdockroot home, the black tuxedo nodded, putting the ShadowClan medicine cat on his back to carry her back to camp.
