Emberpaw looked up as another cat greeted her. She was a golden tabby, her fur so bright that it looked just like the sun. She smells like...ThunderClan! Emberpaw thought, proud that she could already recognize the scent. "Hi, Goldenpaw!" she said. "That's such a perfect name for you! My name's Emberpaw," she added with a purr. This is all so exciting!

Sparkpaw watched as her sister introduced herself to the SkyClan apprentice. Goldenpaw seemed nervous, and Sparkpaw couldn't exactly blame her; she'd been trying to get her fur to lay flat from the second ThunderClan had stepped into Fourtrees. Why is there so much twoleg junk everywhere? she thought, narrowing her eyes in disgust. She tried to push the thoughts away as she settled in with her clanmates.
Sparkpaw is open to conversation, but is uncertain about the twoleg items.
Darkpaw ☆ RiverClan
Darkpaw didn't miss the RiverClan leader's order to stick together. The bengal tom narrowed his eyes as he looked around the clearing; he could tell that the rest of his clanmates were uncertain about the twoleg items that littered Fourtrees, but surely it was too late at night for there to be any real danger...right? Don't twolegs go back to their nests at this time of night? he thought. I'll have to ask Fawneye. Darkpaw felt a breeze of pride flow through him all over again at the thought of his new mentor, and how much closer he was now to becoming a real warrior of RiverClan.
Darkpaw is sticking with RiverClan for now.

Bloodstrike will not be at this gathering or any gathering ever again.
I do not know if Redice will be at this gathering so he is on hold.

Darkspirit followed Mottlestar into the gathering, though he was not thrilled to see more human trash all over their gathering grounds. This place held no good memories for him. Was this some kind of trap that Starclan liked to put the clans in? The Dark Forest arrives, then all of this? His ears laid flat as he eyed everything around him warily. It was unlikely that the tom would want to talk to anyone, but they could try.
Darkspirit is open to talk to but he's tense.

Amberpaw followed after the rest of Windclan, hanging out further in the back. She thought about staying in camp, but after the trouble she'd been in it was probably wise to just shut up and go with the flow. She'd put in the extra effort of socializing for now, but she was far from happy about it. Especially not with the traps and extra things around the gathering now. This whole gathering was a bad idea. She felt like they all should have gone home the instant the scents hit their noses. One could never be too careful around twolegs.

"Are you grossed out at all the twoleg stuff, too?" she asked, taking a seat beside the ginger tabby. "My name is Sparkpaw, by the way. I'm from ThunderClan."

"Ember matches you too," She added, her eyes tracing the faint grey-cream tabby stripes on the other apprentice's face. "How has your training been?" She added, hoping to make conversation.

"Well, it hasn't really started yet," Emberpaw admitted to Goldenpaw. "I just got my apprentice name the other day. Tonight's my first night out with Marigoldmask," she added, flicking her tail at her nearby mentor. "But I'm really excited to start training. I've been looking forward to it for moons!" Now that she was talking, Emberpaw found all her words rushing out of her with excitement. "How long have you been an apprentice for?" she asked Goldenpaw.

Great, Emberpaw didn't have much more experience than her like she had feared. Goldenpaw felt herself relax as the cheerful apprentice's personality began to rub off on her. "I also only got my name a few sunrises ago, so other than touring the territory and going on a border patrol, I haven't done much," She admitted, "Everything is just so strange, I don't think I'll ever be able to remember it all..." Following near the rear end of his clanmates, Fuzzface made it to the clearing. Just as soon as he entered, he plopped his rump down and let out a huff. He wasn’t sure why exactly he’d been asked to join the group, seeing as though some other cats got to stay back, those lucky ducks. Well, hopefully this would be over soon so they could get back home to their warm, comfy nests.

Yikes! What was all this...stuff? The ragdoll was quite opposed to clutter and mess, and this just...just would not do! Her fur bristled at the mere sight of it. And she had to sit here for the entire Gathering? As if!
Whatever. Twolegs would not distract her from a party. And that's how she treated Gatherings. Like a party. Everyone was friends at a Gathering. Why wouldn't she take the opportunity to have a little fun?
Though the warrior sighted her apprentice and made her way to him, giving the smaller tom a soft nudge on his shoulder with her own. "Don't worry about the Twolegs, try and find someone your age to talk to, you never know what you might learn at a Gathering." she meowed softly, hoping to give him some courage to meet some other clans, "But if I catch you wandering off I'll have you pickin' ticks off the elders for the next moon." the warrior gave him a stern look, "If I lost you, I-I..I would never forgive myself." she added, giving him a small smile before nodding and pushing him forward a bit to encourage him to go. He'll be alright..she thought, soothing herself before pushing herself into the crowd heading in the direction of the Shadowclanners.
Fawneye is open to talk to but looking for a specific Shadowclanner..
"Alright Kestrelpaw. Stay close to me or another of your siblings. And if any Shadowclanner's try and rustle your fur..tell them you have a very scary older sister." Sleepyhollow advised while she flexed her claws into the snow beneath her, her orange eyes narrowed and focused on her surroundings. Her actions were quite different than the last Gathering. So much had changed in a moon. Too much. She blinked away the negative thoughts threatening to overtake her and gave her brother a soft smile. Trying to be as stoic as possible in front of her siblings, she sat down, doing a quick scan of the crowd for anyone she knew but not bothering to move much from the Windclanners. If anything were to happen, she wanted to stay with the group. Sleepyhollow is sticking with Windclan but open to talk to.
Echopaw refused to leave his mother, or Briarrose's side since his encounter with the Twoleg trap and the owl. Like a fly stuck in sap, the apprentice lived in the shadow of the two she-cats. While completely content and happy to be going to a Gathering, he had no intention of leaving either of their sides. The apprentice plopped down next to his mother, paws shuffling in the snow, not noticing the trash within the clearing. The only thing the tom did care to realize was the smell. Twoleg scent was heavy in the air and half of Echopaw thought he was imagining it - chalking it up to the post-traumatic stress of his trap incident.
Echopaw is open to talk to but will not leave Comfreyheart's side.
The darkfurred tom was hard to spot amongst the shadows of the moonlight, his pelt blending in well with the cacophony of other cats. Nose wrinkling at the fresh scent of Twolegs, Foxpaw recoiled from he clearing, the fur on his neck rising in reflex. "Ugh. I realllly don't miss the smell of Twolegs.." he meowed to no one in particular. The apprentice looked for Lightning or Mistpaw within the crowd, tail lashing as he scanned the cats around him. Boy..he did not miss the clearing, that was for sure. He let out a laugh and puffed out his chest, he had to look good and strong. Now Foxpaw wasn't exactly the handsomest of toms, he had a kinked tail, messy fur and a wild look in his eyes. But there was an undeniable charm in the way he carried himself and smiled, that was just magnetic. Foxpaw is open to talk to but is keeping an eye out for Lightningpaw and Mistpaw.

❖ Therewas a tense atmosphere when they stepped into Fourtrees. Briarrose was wary as she observed the state of the Gathering place; It didn't look too good. Frowning, the young warrior scanned the faces of her clanmates and noticed a similar look from most of them. As sad as this was, it had been expected. Briar decided it was best to remain by Echopaw's side, just in case. He was told to stick close to his mother, so, Briarrose will be joining their group. ღ
❖ Turningto speak with Comfreyheart and Echopaw, she meowed, "I will be joining you both for this Gathering. I- I believe it is for the best given how stiff the majority of us are." ღ

❖ Forestbreezewas worried for his apprentice. Sure, everyone was rather tense entering the Gathering but she appeared to be even more rigid and cautious. Did something happen? He was tempted to ask but she didn't appear to be in the mood for any exchange of words. So, the warrior left it alone... for now. He only offered her a simple nod of his head—a quick reassurance—and mouthed that he'd be close by before walking away in search of Iceheart; He had left her for the moment while he was checking up on Tawnypaw. ღ

❖ Brookstonewas in a bit of a sullen mood. There had still been no signs of her little fishies and it was starting to weigh on her. She felt guilty for not trying harder. She was aware that that was the more irrational part of her head piping up—it never failed to make an appearance when she least wanted it. She had to step away from her clan for a moment to take a breather before rejoining them. It will be a long night. The tensions were running at an all-time high and that was certainly not a good thing for her head. She hoped her incoming headache will soothe once she finds a certain furball named Stormdance... ღ

Silverwing trotted into the gathering, eyes scanning the crowd for any familiar faces. She had thought long and hard about attending this gathering despite being exiled from her clan, but that thought process had lead her to one answer: What are they gonna do, exile me twice? At least this way she could interact with some of her friends again, but these gatherings went by so fast! For now she would just have to settle for the first cat she saw, and while part of her had hoped that cat would be Russetrye, Silverwing was still happy with the first cat she had found. Sleepyhollow, friend spotted! Something about that was odd though, where was Russetrye? The two were never far from one another, had something happened? Sidling as close to the edge of the crowd as she would dare, Silverwing started frantically waving a paw in hopes of getting the she-cat's attention.

Sablestrike padded into the gathering behind his clan. It wasn't very leader-like, but he didn't feel like conversing with the other clan cats if he could help it. It felt like a waste of a gathering, but he would stick with Shadowclan for the time being. The tom spotted a familiar apprentice, and moments later he was at her side, staring off into the groups of conversating cats. "Apprentices are usually excited to attend their first gathering. Is something wrong, Tawnypaw?"

Tawnypaw could feel Sablestrike standing beside her, just out of view. Without turning her head, the tortoiseshell replied stiffly, "With tensions so high among the Clans, and weakness to be exploited at any given chance, it would be better to remain in the comforts of one's own clan instead of open to the prying eyes of others, don't you think, Sablestrike?" She mewed, her voice carrying no hint of emotion.
Her amber eyes watched as a tabby tom bounded towards a ginger queen and their pelts brushed. Her lips curled in disgust; how could any cat be so openly disloyal of their Clan and the warrior code? How would they cope if their Clans fell on hard times? Some leaders might choose to avoid a fight they can't win, but there are still those that would see no choice but to attack when faced with death and hunger. How many cats would die of such choices? And how many would die from undecided loyalties? No, it was for the better good to avoid anything more than acquaintanceship with any cat from another clan.

Mudshriek padded into the gathering with his usual air of arrogant superiority, only this time there was also a twinge of boredom in the tom's icy blue eyes. He'd been coming to these things since he was an apprentice, and while the medicority of the other clans had usually amused him, he found himself growing weary of laughing at the misfortune of others. Mayhaps he was turning over a new leaf? Either way, he was in dire need of something a bit more interesting to pass the time tonight. He found at spot near the center of the clearing, his tail flicking idly.

Snowfoot padded into the hollow with her clan for what felt like the thousandth time, her battle scars and tired eyes making her seem older than she really was. Tonight was a cause for celebration, as ShadowClan had once again returned home, but Snowfoot was restless. If WindClan kept on breaching their borders, war could be just around the corner, and the senior warrior hoped nobody would say anything dangerous tonight. To pass the time and take her mind off things, she decided to do a bit of cat-watching. Specifically, she-cat watching. It wasn’t often that the motherly cat indulged in a bit of amorous behavior, but it wasn’t like there was any harm in just looking.
Snowfoot has arrived and is in a somewhat flirty mood! She has a chemistry check planned. Blazefang still has two kits in the nursery so she’s staying home. Lighttail, Sunpaw, and Sagepaw will be posted shortly.

Emberpaw let out a mrrow of amusement at Goldenpaw's words. A tour of the territory and a border patrol? What a lucky furball! "Well, you've done more than I have so far!! I'm really excited to see the rest of SkyClan's territory," she added, swiping a paw over one ear. "And to learn how to hunt and fight from the trees." Emberpaw added mischievously. SkyClan was known for that ability, and the new apprentice couldn't help but to brag a little to her new friend.
Another thought came to her just then. "Have you made friends with the other ThunderCan apprentices?" she asked Goldenpaw. Emberpaw had spotted a few other orange-pelted cats in the crowd, and she wondered if they might all be related. "Or do you have littermates?"

Darkpaw nodded at his mentor's words, not missing Fawneye's uncertainty.Losing me? he thought, narrowing his eyes at the suggestion. He'd heard stories of the twolegs stealing clan cats, but he was certain they wouldn't try and come here during a Gathering.
Darkpaw flicked his ears, pushing the thoughts away as he heard another tom who looked about his age muttering to himself about the scent of twolegs. "You don't miss it?" Darkpaw mewed to the messy-furred tom. "Have you smelled a lot of twolegs before now?"

Lighttail was not exactly in the mood for a Gathering tonight, but she pretty much had to come. She did, after all, have an apprentice to keep an eye on. Positioning herself in a spot where she felt she could make sure Applepaw wasn’t getting into trouble, the silver tabby flopped down for a night of being around the other four clans.
Lighttail is open for conversation but she’s a bit grumpy.
