After joining WCC in 6th grade, I didn't think I'd ever write one of these, and I want to start by thanking every one of you for everything. You were all there for me when I needed you guys the most. Middle school was really difficult to get through, and I'm grateful to have had such a supportive community that could give me advice, comfort, and of course, hours of stories to read. You guys have helped shape me into the person I am today.

I'm facing a lot of stress right now, and WCC has become an extreme stresser the last few months and I have considered quitting multiple times but have stuck around for the Lionize plot. With that being gone and Puma not fitting anywhere into the plot anymore and being asked to leave the plot, I am going to take a step back from WCC for a week or so to focus on passing my finals and really thinking if WCC is worth it to me anymore. I have left the discord as well, but if my characters are absolutely needed my Discord PM is open.

As you all might have noticed, things have been a little spotty for Holly. She, like many of us it seems, has come down with the flu. However, hers has taken her out of commission and she can't muster the energy to really get on - to the point where she didn't have the energy to make a member announcement which is why I am doing it in her stead. Holly should be back in a week or two once she recovers. In the meanwhile, I have agreed to take on any Moonstone requests that come up until she is back on her feet~

I’m going to be off in a remote part of China for the holidays for an art institution. It’s going to be a really fun experience, but the internet will be very, very spotty. Starting this Friday, I'll be away at camp until December 6th. I'm looking forward to it, but posting will be really difficult during this time. Some of you probably know but I get surgery in two weeks and before that, my boss hecked up my schedule. Work's been a horrible grind lately, but fortunately I was able to secure myself a couple extra days off in the near future. I've decided to go ahead and make it a full vacation for 5 days, which means I won't be on WCC at all. Not to worry though, there is still time to wrap up current threads, and your friendly (or terrifying) deputy Ripped will be here to make sure things keep rolling smoothly!

Remember how a little ago I said I might be a little inactive? And how I pretty much poofed out of existence afterwards?

In short, school is even more challenging than I thought it would be, and my mental health isn't faring very well (I'm currently awaiting a diagnosis for a potential learning disorder). As such I'm staying up to around 12 PM trying to get everything done, and I have no energy or time to get on here. So for now I'm going on a kinda-hiatus until things clear up for me.

from friday, september 20th to monday, septemeber 23, my boyfriend and i will be traveling to the outer banks in north carolina! :D

Next weekend, Rat King and I will be celebrating his birthday by taking a trip to Wildwood, NJ! So this Friday, 9/13, marks the start of my only vacation this year! Friday will be a day of driving (+12 hours) so I will be unavailable for most of that day aside from pit stops.
