Failed Assassination (PLOT / APPROVED)

I’ve been talking with Jay Bird a little about some possible ideas for Shadefang, and she’s given me some great ideas already, but I think I can do a little more with him. And I suppose this plot is approved since Jay Bird was the one giving me the ideas. XD

So here’s the plot:

Ever since Shadefang killed his mother Sweet, he’s become rather obsessed with the thought of killing other cats, even coming very close to killing a SkyClan apprentice. He is also incredibly angry at Jaystar for naming Scorchclaw deputy instead of him. But as he failed to kill the apprentice because her father came to her rescue, he knows he needs to build up his strength and stamina before he can really put his plans into action.

~ Stage Zero: Building a Reputation ~
In this stage, Shadefang will begin building his poor reputation of being violent, impulsive, and nasty. He will lash out at his Clanmates, take his fury out on prey, and ignore any and all direct orders given to him.

~ Stage One: Exile for Attempted Murder ~
Once Shadefang will grow strong enough, he will find a way to isolate Scorchclaw and attempt to kill him. Of course, he won’t be able to do it, because two warriors will have seen Shadefang leading Scorchclaw out of camp and follow, and at this point Shadefang will have developed the reputation of being very angry, impulsive, and just plain bloodthirsty. These two cats will gang up on Shadefang, allowing Scorchclaw to escape. Scorchclaw will not be mauled or even scarred, just injured from battle.
The two warriors will drag Shadefang back to camp, Scorchclaw would have already told Jaystar what had happened, and Jaystar will exile Shadefang from all the territories (its up to Jay Bird if she wants Jaystar to warn the other four Clans of Shadefang, but with how violent he is it’s highly recommended, plus it would give Scorchfang a chance to become super anxious and scared because he doesn’t have enough stress on his shoulders as SC deputy already).

~ Stage Two: The Regime ~
Only after Shadefang becomes a rogue will he learn about and join The Regime. Since banishes Clan cats can’t increase their stats with battles like natural-born rogues can, this is the reason why he will be banished as a warrior or experienced warrior.
Regardless, he will still “train” with the members of The Regime, and he will also target apprentices and young warriors he comes across in the territories, badly injuring some and killing others, but his main target will be RiverClan. He will even attempt to sneak into camp and make off with kits to violently kill just to add insult to injury (whether anyone signs up kits to be killed will determine if this part of the plot will be used).
He will stay in The Regime until he deems himself ready to execute his master plan...

~ Stage Three: Retribution ~
The third and final stage of the plot will send Shadefang back to RiverClan. He will wait by the border until Jaystar comes along, and then he will confront him. Fueled by hatred for never being chosen as RiverClan deputy, as well as overconfident that he can now take on any foe, Shadefang will battle Jaystar and will take away one of his nine lives. Meanwhile, Goldeneye will have received a sign alerting her that Jaystar is in danger, and she will send Silverfang to look for and protect him.
As Jaystar struggles to recover from the loss of one of his lives, Silverfang will find them and jump to Jaystar’s defense. Whether she reacts to the situation with with fury, sorrow, desperation, or a combination of the three is up to Jay Bird, but she will try to convince Shadefang to leave, to which Shadefang refuses and attacks his former mentor and adopted grandmother without mercy, now completely lost to his hatred and ambition.
Silverfang will have no choice but to kill him, and once Shadefang reawakens he will have been sent to the Dark Forest to rot for all eternity...
