A Tainted Blessing [ThunderClan’s Newleaf Clan-Wide Plot / Pika-Approved]

When Newleaf finally arrives to the territories, ThunerClan’s current state shall undergo a great transformation. The fire which so far has been their greatest curse, forcing them to go through their worst Leafbare in generations even if we don’t count the many war related issues that TC has gone through, now turns into their greatest blessings and the nutritious ashes and soots covering the territory, mixed in with the meltdown of the snow of leafbare, makes the forest recover in ways the clan would’ve never expected.

The barren territory will be covered in green, vegetation will quickly regrow and outshine the beauty the forest had before the fire. ThunderClan’s territory shall become any medicine’s cat paradise as the herbs growing in it will be easily found in great quantities and greatly effective thanks to the new fertility of the land. Prey shall come in great numbers right after, plump and almost begging to be hunted, enough to fill the fresh-kill pile and still have more than enough to spare.

It almost seems like StarClan themselves had blessed these lands as a way to compensate the beaten clan from the pain endured until now…but with all good things, comes a catch.

Attracted by these flourishing lands, the foxes that had haunted the territories until now shall arrive and become a dangerous threat to the clan of the forest. Always lurking, always hungry…and they had found a special taste for cats thanks to previous “Prey” they had hunted in the other territories.

Prepare your claws, protect those you love…the enemy is closer than you may think.




Phase 1: The Blessing

This is where everything starts, no long after Newleaf arrives to the site the great and flourishing state of ThunderClan’s forest will be made obvious. This phase is the only peaceful one and will last from around a week to a full moon, depending on how long it takes us to prepare the next phases.


Phase 2: No longer safe

The foxes arrive. As soon as this phase starts I and/or some staff (Yes, I already mentioned the potential of staff being involved as these foxes to Pika) will start to roleplay as foxes that will randomly pop up in your threads as long as you are anywhere in ThunderClan’s territories. These foxes will be very aggressive and will constantly be hunting cats, the only way to get rid of one in your thread is by having your cats fight it off like in a hunting encounter.

If you want your cat to be mauled or killed by a fox, feel free to PM me or any staff member willing to handle these foxes and we will get it done. You may even be able to use these foxes as battle encounters but that still needs to be discussed. These foxes are meant to be a threat, to be relevant for the plot, so the more threads that have them, the better.


Phase 3: Tracking the beast

After a moon or two, the cats of ThunderClan will finally gather to discuss the fox threat in their territory. The encounters had become way too common to ignore and they know that they need to act fast because these foxes are starting to become too daring, even getting too close to camp at times.

Fearing for the safety of the clan, and even more for a fox to attack camp and potentially kill elders, queens and kits, they decide enough is enough and they send 3 experienced-senior warriors in a tracking mission to find out where these foxes live to fight them off. The patrol will find a den where most of these foxes live and report back.


Phase 4: Facing our fears

After the tracking patrol returns, the clan will prepare to go into battle. Just as this sounds, it will be the climax of this plot as the clan will go into a full-out war against these foxes at their den.

There will be around 3 to 6 foxes in the den (More may be added if the amount of clan cats launching into battle is big enough to handle it). These foxes will be extremely aggressive and can’t be chased off, the clan has to kill them if they want to get rid of them.

During this fight, Blizzardstar will lose one of her lives.
