Skyclan Newsletter | June 2023
Welcome to the Skyclan newsletter! These newsletters will be posted on the 1st of every month, and will recap important events and announcements pertaining to Skyclan, including signal-boosting ceremonies and open threads. If you have suggestions for either the newsletter or something you would like to see more of in Skyclan, don't hesitate to reach out to the clan's High Ranks on the forum or through discord!
Chronological links to important threads related to Skyclan's clanwides, role in sitewides, clan meetings, etc, with a brief explanation of what's going on. Characters should probably be aware of these things in RP.
Current Happenings Skyclan continues to grow, with a new warrior among their ranks and and pawful of kits in the nursery. Prey seems abundant despite our numbers, and overall this last moon has been an easy one for the clan. Tension among the other clans has not gone unnoticed, but Skyclan seems to be well-positioned to stay out of it. After a month of hectic chaos, this corner of the forest is peaceful and quiet... Almost too peaceful and quiet. Will the good fortune last into greenleaf, or is this simply the calm before the storm?
Seasons of your life - The recent gathering was quite an eventful one, with announcements from the leaders not even being given a chance to proceed before the Windclan medicine cat Batsong had come forth with accusations against Thunderclan and Shadowclan's leaders. Both Perchstar and Birdstar were quick to shield Mottlestar of Thunderclan and sharply rebuke Windclan for disrupting the gathering's peace. With such an outward display of support between the three clans, it seems an alliance could be solidified between them. As tensions rage across the forest, Skyclan looks inward, keeping their borders strong and their leadership determined to keep their own clan out of matters that do not involve them.

Open Thread Listing Peaceful Forest - Wolfblossom has found a moment to relax as Skyclan winds down for the evening, why not join her? The art of uncaring failure - Dawnfeather has taken care of an old branch hanging over camp. Totally on purpose. The morning always follows the night - Dawnfeather has recently recovered from her illness, and joined by Firepool and Wolfblossom, it seems like the three are having fun. Happy Mother's Day - Stormwatcher doesn't quite seem to get what the fuss near the nursery is about. Left bank two - Astershine is making things out of flowers. Second star to the right - Foxtrot's vigil has ended, why not go talk to him? In bed I lie - Birdstar seems awfully relaxed... That must mean it's time to bother the leader, right? My heart has wings to carry you away - What's a Thunderclanner doing on Skyclan territory? Birdstar has interrupted them, as is proper. Cover me in sunshine - Marigoldmask is relaxing in camp! Everything will be alright - Join Marigoldmask's hunting patrol! First Day - Graywind doesn't seem to know what to do with herself now that she's a warrior, come say hi! Walk in the light - Wolfblossom has led a relaxed patrol out into the forest, since the weather is so nice.
