Marigoldmask's whiskers twitched as she glided through the territory. It was home to her, it was familiar. The jovial molly glided up the trees in search of prey, looking for purchase in the bark as she followed the trail of the ever-returning creatures now that the leafbare chill had thoroughly dissipated. It meant much of her natural covering had gone away, but hiding in the trees had her looking much more like a fluffy cloud than an out-of-place snowbank.

At the sight of a squirrel, it was all her mind could focus on. Gliding through the trees, she chittered in mimicking the rodent's natural call, hoping to get the creature to let its guard down as she attempted to strike.

Hearing his clanmate imitate a squirrel was... unexpected. But alas it worked! Good for her. Still, Falconmoon smirked at her teasingly. "That was weird." He meant no harm and was oblivious to the feelings that may have resided in the molly for him. He stalked in the trees and scanned the ground below. He spotted a hare, a rare sight for Skyclan, but still. He'd caught these before... in a different time... He wondered if he still could.

The answer was immediately apparent when he wiggled his haunches on the branch... only to startle the hare and watch it zip away with breakneck speed. He sat back on his branch and glowered after it, his mood soured.
