APPEARANCE
The RiverClan apprentice is a long furred tortoiseshell she-cat of no discernible breed with green eyes and a black-pink mottled nose. She is of a typical stature and build for RiverClan cats, with long legs ideal for swimming. Her tail is as plumed and thick as the rest of her glossy fur, typically kept well groomed.
PERSONALITY
Mothpaw’s attitude comes from a place of insecurity and acts as a defensive mechanism. She views herself as independent although she lives in a clan, needing to remember that she needs and will need other cats. At times she can appear tightly wound though once her guard is dropped she is excitable and loves an adventure. Mothpaw first and foremost is a cat of honesty and is partial to gossip. She doesn’t suffer fools and may grow out of her attitude as she understands the world is not against her. Along with her honesty she has a curious nature, wanting to understand how the world works. She is a compassionate and confident cat, though her confidence comes from a place of insecurity. Above all else, Mothpaw is desperate to prove her worth to her clanmates and earn her place in a world she is still trying to understand. Though she is still learning, her dreams grow with her.

HISTORY
Mothkit was born to Minnowcloud and Reedwhisker, the couple’s first and only kit, named after the spotted moths Minnowcloud was reminded of upon seeing her daughter. A joyous occasion for most expecting cats, her parents were excited to bring their kit into the world. Their time together would be cut short however.
Reedwhisker had grown sick in the short time before Mothkit was born, succumbing to his illness quickly. Minnowcloud, devastated by the loss of her mate, endured a stressful kitting. She survived until the following sunrise, realising something was wrong. Instead of calling for help, Minnowcloud treasured the short time with her kit until she fell asleep and passed away, exhausted. Mothkit was fostered temporarily by [npc] until she was old enough, left mostly to her own devices. Mothkit ventured out of the nursery on several occasions, one of those times meeting Drizzlekit. The two, after Mothkit chided the other kit for scaring off the ladybird that she had herself scared away, stalked a butterfly in their best warrior imitation.
After what felt like forever for her, Mothkit was called from the nursery by Poppyshine. It could only have meant one thing; and without taking a moment to make herself presentable, Mothkit ran out after the deputy. Realising how unkempt she looked she took a moment to lick her chest before receiving her mentor Egretswoop and her apprentice name Mothpaw. She was saddened that her parents would not be in the crowd cheering her name, though realised she would have friends to take their place.
Soon after being apprenticed, Mothpaw attended her first gathering. She followed Egretswoop to the Fourtrees where she splintered off and wandered around, in awe of all the different cats. It didn’t take long for Mothpaw to meet new faces, as two ThunderClan apprentices approached her. Mothpaw spoke to Shrewpaw and Copperpaw, who were also recently apprenticed.

APPEARANCE
Sorrelpaw carries the blue-grey fur of her biological father, long and thick like both of her parents. Her fur is soft, usually kept well groomed and presentable. Her build is that typically found amongst that of ThunderClan cats, making her larger in stature than some cats though remains on the smaller scale. Her long legs are inherited from her mother, ideal for living in SkyClan. In her youth they will give her an almost gangly appearance though she will grow into them in time, giving Sorrelpaw a graceful stride to her gait. Her eyes are a light moss green, usually sparkling with excitement though when the mood takes her they can cast highly critical glances. Scars litter her fur from her training and experiences, her largest from being attacked by a fox in her early apprenticeship.
Not unlike most kits her age, Sorrelkit was excitable and on a never ending quest for knowledge. One of the louder kits of her litter, she was unafraid and curious about the world, often found questioning older cats or playing with her littermates. Sorrelkit held empathy for cats regardless of status or Clan affiliation though as she grew and with the influence around her, this would change.
A never changing trait of Sorrel is that her highest priority is her family, as they are tied and only they will truly understand each other; her loyalty lies with her family first, Clan second though she would never admit as much out loud. In her apprenticeship Sorrelpaw is driven by a desire for approval, frustrated by her own mistakes and desperately try to escape her weaknesses and fears; she will likely never be fully at peace. This developed after the fox attack, fearing being so vulnerable again. The attack also made her more reserved than she had been, developing a mean streak and becoming distrustful of StarClan.

Nettlepaw inherited his ancestor’s typical ThunderClan build. He is a large cat like his father, tall with broad shoulders. His fur is long and marbled ginger of varying tones with patches of cream littered throughout. Long white whiskers and a salmon pink nose.
PERSONALITY
A warm cat, Nettlepaw is always ready to lend an ear or tell a joke. As a kit he was happy go lucky, a trait that carried over to his apprenticehood. He displays typical orange cat behaviour, prone to mischief. Nettlepaw is a curious apprentice, always keen to learn with a smile on his face.
As he gets older he will have a tendency to let his heart do the talking and in battle be a completely different cat, level headed, fiercely protective and willing to give his life for those around him.
