SkyClan Warrior Games

Dawnhawk stepped into a small clearing within the forest, a nicely constructed ring made of charred, fallen logs. The Asylum had done well clearing out this area for the Skyclan warriors and the Asylum to have their winter games. Things are finally coming together... Dawnhawk thought to himself as he took his place within the ring. He looked around at the cats that he was able to see and a smile spread across his face. "Alright," He called out to those around him. "I know someone wants to crush me. Come at me!"Dawnhawk patiently waited for someone to approach him, his stance low and his feet spread apart evenly for balance.

Copperfox stepped into the clearing, leaving plenty of space for Dawnhawk and whoever his opponent might be. He took in a breath and surveyed the area around him. This wasn't talking things over, but it might be the next best thing. Maybe this was the bit of positivity that he needed to have happen in order to bring up the conversation to his brother again. Hopefully this time, uninterrupted.

"I'm short, I'm stocky and I'm gritty. Who wants a piece?" Copperfox asked casually... so casually in fact he actually wondered if he might have offended someone of more experience than him. Oh well. It had already been said and he wasn't about to take it back.

Primroselight wasn't completely sure how this competition was going to go, but she was interested anyway. In normal circumstances, she would've hated sparring just for fun, and reserved it only as a training activity. But it was no normal times. Truthfully, the anger inside her was beginning to dip as she started accepting how things were, but she still wanted a little revenge. Padding up to the cat she had once called her brother, she challenged him. "Dawnhawk. I'll take you on." She knew that her pain would be immeasurable if she lost, but if she won... it would definitely give her an extra boost of reckless confidence.

A day of "fun". Did the Asylum believe the Clan would accept them with a day of games, after what they had done? Redfall shook his coat out with a huff. The only fun part of today would be wrestling Dawnhawk, if he could win. When he won. As he thought, the cat in question announced the start of the games. Redfall padded towards Dawnhawk with a stony countenance. Come at me was all the invitation needed. Before he could, Primroselight, of all cats, said she'd take on Dawnhawk, and barged in front of him. Redfall's maw opened to emit a sigh, but he turned to the Asylum cats pointedly. "One of you, if you aren't too scared."

Redfall is open to wrestle. He'd prefer to take on an Asylum npc.

Smokefeather wasn't so sure this would be 'fun' and 'games' but she'd recovered enough from kitting to participate, so she might as well. She had half a mind to put Dawnhawk in his place, but before she could say anything, Primroselight had challenged him. The pale tortoiseshell blinked in surprise at her daughter, then turned, scanning the rest of the cats.

Maybe not challenging Dawnhawk was a good idea. Her eyes landed on Copperfox, her son and former apprentice. And someone less likely to stir her own feelings of anger.

"Copperfox, let's see how well you've learned." She called.

Smokefeather is challenging Copperfox.

Flowerthorn wasn't really sure why she was here or why she was going along with Dawnhawk and Asylum's ideas in the first place. Maybe she should have stayed back in camp, but sparring or at least watching Dawnhawk get taken out by his sister would have been somewhat satisfying. Maybe, it would have been satisfying to take down an Asylum cat herself even if it isn't in her preferred method of doing so. For now she would sit back and watch unless someone wanted to come by and make a challenge to her.

Flowerthorn is open for any challenger.

Primroselight approached Dawnhawk, which wasn't as surprising at the pale tom thought it would be. Hey eyed her for a few seconds, his face betraying nothing. He took in a breath and nodded once, mostly to himself.

"Alright. Let's play sister." He said calmly. Keeping his claws firmly sheathed, Dawnhawk ran forward. Once he neared Primroselight, he aimed to wrap his forelimbs and paws around her shoulders and try to pin her down.

OOC: Okay so now we roll. If we want it over with fast, we can do 3 rolls in one go and the highest total wins. Or we can roll 1 at a time for a chance to RP the individual pushing and shoving for dramatic story telling. I'll roll just 1 for now. If you want to roll all 3 of yours at once, you can, then I will roll my last 2 and we'll see who wins. Goes for KJ as well.

Copperfox was surprised to see his mom step forward. He gave her a chuckle, but his haunches wiggled in anticipation. Wrestling against his mom was a lot less anxiety inducing. This actually might be fun. Copperfox rsn at Smokefeather, trying to throw his lower center of gravity into his attempts at pushing and shoving.

Blossomstep had been pointedly avoiding Wolfstar, but she had caught a bit of a cold following her fall and temporary entrapment under the ice. She sneezed as she looked around the clearing, a small sense of relief washing over her as she didn't see Wolfstar. Dawnhawk announced himself as an Asylum opponent, something the she-cat noted with a small shake of her head. Wasn't he supposedly their deputy? Turning away, she spotted Wrenspring nearby and approached him. "Care to be my opponent, Wrenspring?"

Graybird would never turn down the opportunity to sharpen up her battle skills, but today she would've preferred to stay in camp. Her idea of fun wasn't anything that the Asylum had planned considering the fact that she wanted absolutely nothing to do with them, and she certainly wasn't looking forward to having to potentially spar with one of them, but she figured that she would tag along for the sole purpose of being with her actual Clanmates. She let out a sigh as she scanned the crowd of gathering warriors and Asylum cats, her eyes refusing to betray any emotion despite the fact that the aura surrounding her body seemed to give off irritation.
"Well? Someone come on so I can get this over with." Graybird seemed nonchalant about the entire ordeal, but truthfully she did want to win against whoever ended up stepping up to her.

Graybird is open for any opponent.

Smokefeather offered Copperfox a warm smile in response. He rushed her, though for the moment Smokefeather managed to keep her footing. The goal was to pin the opponent, and so Smokefeather sprang forward with her claws sheathed. For the moment it looked like they were both doing well at keeping their footing.

Copperfox managed to hold himself well against his mother's wrestling. He was shorter than her, but he was a broad-shouldered young tom with an admirable amount of stamina. He pressed his hind legs hard into the ground below him and tried to rock Smokfeather off balance with his forelegs. Even if Smokefeather was his mom... he didn't want to publicly lose to a she-cat. Thankfully he was smart enough to no say this out loud as well.

Ashstorm did not exactly know what was happening, but she decided to come anyway. Maybe she could learn something new. The cats seemed to be doing challenges and sparing, so maybe she should give it a try. She spotted Flowerthorn standing to the side and wondered if she had the same thought as Ashstorm. Ashstorm happily walked up to Flowerthorn and cleared her throat. "Want to do what they're doing?" She asked, turning her head towards Copperfox and Smokefeather. She wanted something to do and this was a good new game. Even though Flowerthorn was a more experienced warrior then she was, this seemed more like a game than an actual fight, so maybe she would have a shot at winning.
