Adderflare growled at the other cat, taken slightly by surprise. Her own fault, she'd zoned out a little. But still. Pushing back against the Asylum cat, she forced herself to keep her claws sheathed as she attempted to shove them into the dirt.

Primroselight shot one last glare towards Dawnhawk as their mother broke up their argument. "Sorry mum," She apologized, feeling bad that she had made her annoyed, "I don't really know what's gotten over me recently. But we both won our spars, right? So do you wanna spar with me now?" This time round, there would be no real competition involved. Only friendly competition between mother and daughter and mentor and apprentice.

Annoyance fading somewhat at Primroselight's apology, Smokefeather allowed a small smile as her daughter decided to challenge her. They'd won their spars, it was true... And it had been quite a while since she and Primroselight had sparred at all.

"Good luck, daughter." Smokefeather leapt as the last of her words left her mouth, as was typical for their training sessions when Primroselight had been an apprentice. She aimed a blow at her daughter's shoulder, claws sheathed.

Redfall’s eyes narrowed, staring at Honeycomb for a moment longer. He flicked his tail and stalked away, catching sight of Flowerthorn stepping back from Ashstorm. He diverted towards the winner, who seemed to be Flowerthorn. “Flowerthorn!” She was one of the most experienced cats in the Clan. A harder fight than Honeycomb to be certain. “I need a challenge.” Without further warning, he sprang, casting blows to her legs that were sharp but made with sheathed claws. If she fell, he was confident in his ability to quickly pin her. If she tried to pull a move to pin him, he would do his best to get out of the way as soon as possible.

Flowerthorn wasn't quite ready for another challenge so soon but the call of her name had her head snapping up and away from Ashstorm. A challenge? Was his previous opponent not enough of a challenge for him? If he wanted one then she would give him one. She gave a small smile to Ashstorm before stepping away. Barely ready in time for Redfall's first action.

The white warrior let out a small growl in response. She didn't like that he was rash. She wanted to slap him upside the head for that but that wasn't the goal of this. She quickly took her own action lifting her paws trying to pin the tom herself hoping she would be enough of a challenge. But she wasn't. She was too tired from her previous match with Ashstorm, so she was pinned despite putting all of her strength forward.

"Fine." She huffed out before kicking off the tom, showing her experience even in defeat. She quickly moved over to the side joining Ashstorm.

"Good luck to you too. And don't forget, I'm not your apprentice anymore, so no need to go easy on me!" Primroselight said with a smile as they began. She took Smokefeather's blow to her shoulder, but quickly retaliated. This time may've been for fun, but there was no harm in trying to win. Her attack now was weak however, and did little to swing the fight in her favour.

Smokefeather couldn't help the easy grin that found her expression at Primroselight's enthusiasm. She ducked, allowing most of her blows to brush soft fur rather than find solid purchase, before aiming a playful paw meant to swipe one foot out from under her former apprentice.

The Asylum cat growled as Adderflare responded, pushing her into the dirt. The Asylum cat took the brunt of it though, letting her think she'd be able to pin them. In time, Adderflare would realize it's practically impossible.
