All the Kits for Riverclan [Open]

She calmed slightly at the cats touch, but couldn't bring herself to be completely still. The shakes slowed slightly, but not completely. Her eyes pleaded for him to help her. She was so scared..

Bouncepaw whimpered a bit at the desperation in the kit's eyes. He pushed the thyme forwards. "H-H-Here... ch-chew this. It'll help. I-It soothes the mind." Bouncepaw offered. He noticed that the young kit's head was jerking backwards a bit, and it could break Shallowkit's neck. He slipped a stick in and wrapped it with bindweed to make sure that wouldn't happen. He then pushed some ragweed forwards. "After y-you-y-you're done th... t-that, chew th-this... it gives strength." instructed Bouncepaw cordially. He coveted Cloudstone's company, but the ebony medicine cat was in no shape to heal. He haltingly took his paw off of Shallowkit's body.

She sniffed the thyme and ragweed. Normally she would make a witty remark, but she was in no shape to do so, and just swallowed it. She noticed that she had began to grow tired, and felt like wanting to sleep. Maybe she was tired from all the shaking?

Cinderkit watched with worry and concern for her new found friend. This was all her fault, if she didn't take the game seriously they were still be playing something. But no bad luck Cinderkit just had to ruin the fun. She backed away slowly from the medicine cat den her eyes wide and ears back, maybe her parents should have brought her with them. Or just dumped her off somewhere. With tears in her eyes she ran back to the nursery, there was no way that Shallowkit would be friends with her now. Instead of going inside where the kit could easily find her she went behind the den and his in the bushes and started crying again.

She heard Cinderkit leave, and immediately tried to get up to follow her, but the stick behind her neck dug into her, and she slipped back down, letting out a slight hiss of pain. Im sorry, Cinderkit.. I didn't know I was sick..

Pebblekit had been sitting in the clearing watching all of this happen. She was awkward and did not know how to help either of the kits. She watched as cinderkit went behind the nursery. Pebblekit slowly rose to her paws and padded towards the bushes where cinderkit was crying. "Cinderkit..its pebblekit...please don't cry.", Pebblekit mewed softly. She wasn't very good at comforting people but she was trying.

Cinderkit heard small pawsteps approaching her she shook her head, "Pebblekit?" She sniffed, "You might as well get away from me. I only bring bad luck wherever I go. You will just get hurt..." She smiled though remembering a few days ago her showing the kit around camp. The kit wasn't hurt when she showed her around..

Bouncepaw saw Shallowkit try to get up. "I-I know you want to talk to your friend, bu-but you have to rest... and don't raise your head. The st-stick will hurt you if you do, and it-it's only t-to protect you from breaking your neck," he said. "You need water." Bouncepaw got up. "Sta-Sta-Stay here, okay?" The honey-pelted medicine cat apprentice scrutinized the ill she-cat. He left, and only after a few heartbeats did he return with damp moss. He placed it in front of Shallowkit. "Drink... you'll be alright." Bouncepaw didn't seem mad at Cinderkit.

She lapped up the water slowly then looked up at Bouncepaw, and muttered a quick "Thank you." Her eyes full of gratitude.

"N-No problem," meowed Bouncepaw humbly, bobbing his head. "Now you ju-just need rest. Don't stimulate yourself, okay?" Bouncepaw's gaze softened a bit. He glanced sympathetically towards Cinderkit as well—she didn't do anything wrong, and Bouncepaw didn't want the calico she-kit to feel like the victim of antipathy.

Cinderkit cried herself to sleep behind the nursery, she was jolted awake by a sound outside of camp. Slowly making her way inside of the nursery she flopped down in her nest not wanting to talk to Morningfog about what happened. Her dreams of that night were horrible, full of nightmares about Shallowkit and Pebblekit dying because of her. Morningfog and her kits slowly being eaten away by the darkness while she looked on in horror frozen in fear.

Jumping awake she panted for a moment then looked around her, did she wake any kits or queens? Luckily everyone was still asleep curled up in their nest. She breathed out suddenly the nursery seemed suffocating as if the walls were closing in on her making it harder to breath, her heart quickened. Bolted to her paws she dashed out of the nursery not caring if she stepped on any tails. It was the early morning the sun just barely getting up, she breathed in the fresh air deeply enjoying the crisped smell of the water around them.

Bouncepaw checked on Shallowkit in the medicine cat's den. "H-Hey Shallowkit," he said gingerly. He settled down beside her, smoothing his white-and-gold pelt. "How are you? Is you-your vision okay?" Bouncepaw sat down beside Shallowkit.

She blinked and looked up at him, jumping slightly, as she wasn't aware that he had gotten so close. "Y-Yeah. Its fine, a little blurry, but not by much.." Her voice was quiet, almost as if she was angry with herself for having the seizure.

Bouncepaw nodded vigorously. "Alri-Alright," he mewed, concerned as to why Shallowkit seemed angry. At who? At him? At Cinderkit? At... herself? The ring-tailed medicine cat apprentice wondered if he should leave her alone. Then he wondered if he should stay. Oh... StarClan, he thought. I'm a terrible medicine cat apprentice! I hope Cloudstone heals soon... Bouncepaw's eyes betrayed his internal turmoil, and he sat silently beside Cinderkit.
