Violetsky cautiously attended her first gathering as a warrior, unable to forget the disaster of last moon, which was seemingly a common thread of thought amongst her peers. No longer an eager apprentice in a whole new world, the white and brown warrior stayed close to her fellow Skyclan cats, waiting patiently for the announcements to start so she could return to camp before anything could happen.
Violetsky is open to talk
Brindlepaw and Foxflower have both stayed at their respective camps.

Cedarstalk
Gender: Male Rank: T2 Warrior
Cedarstalk padded into the clearing late, having stepped on a sharp bit of undergrowth on the way here. His paw was a tad sore now, but his paw was fine so he hurried to catch up with Thunderclan, arriving just in time to pad into the clearing with the rest of his clanmates as they flooded into fourtrees.
He cast his gaze around the clearing, searching for one cat in particular and smiled when his amber eyes landed on Copperlark, his mate. With a purr, the red and white tom bounded down the slope and very nearly crashed into the pretty she-cat. He laughed softly, an apologetic smile on his face and licked her cheek lovingly.
"What's wrong love? You look nervous." He pulled her closer to his side with a paw and swept his tongue over her shoulder a few times, smoothing the slightly prickly fur with a tender smile. "I'm sure this gathering will go much better than the last one. What happened surely knocked some sense into Windclan and Shadowclan."
Cedarstalk hadnt attended the last gathering, but he had heard of the chaos that unfolded and seen the aftermath on his clanmates' faces and bodies. With any luck, this one would be nice and easy - for everyone's sakes.
Nectarflower
Gender: Female Rank: T2 Warrior
Nectarflower entered the clearing, her green eyes sliding from side to side as she examined the gathered cats warily. Her belly was somewhat swollen by now, even a passing apprentice would notice her condition at this point. That wasnt the warrior's main concern, however. Rather, she was worried about this gathering given what happened at the last one. Luckily, everyone seemed peaceful for the most part.
Her paws carried her toward a somewhat familiar she-cat, Fennelbreeze, and Nectarflower settled down beside the other she-cat, her tail curling instinctively around her paws as she made herself comfortable. She only knew Fennelbreeze from the occasional patrol they went on together. Perhaps that could change.
Smiling awkwardly, the young warrior looked over at Fennelbreeze, her heart beating a little too fast. "Hey! How're you feeling about all of this?" Her gaze shifted to the side, toward a group of Shadowclan cats and Nectarflower held back a grimace. If anymore issues came up, she would be the first out of here. Under no circumstances was she putting her kits at risk - no way.
Bearpaw
Gender: Male Rank: Apprentice
Bearpaw followed the rest of Skyclan into the clearing, his icy blue eyes wide with shock at the number of cats. So many different colors, shapes, and sizes and so many of them looked much bigger and fiercer than him. He was still small, his pelt still poofy and soft - not sleek yet like the older cats.
Grunting, the young apprentice trotted down into the throng of cats, his tail twitching uncomfortably at being surrounded by so many warm bodies - so many enemies. He didnt understand how sole of his clanmates could gravitate right toward cats from another clan. They spoke so freely as if comfortable with them.
It made his lips curl into a snarl just looking at it. Sniffing, Bearpaw looked around for a familiar face and huffed at the sight of his sisters conversing with cats they didnt know. They'd have to learn the hard way that they couldnt trust other clans then. Annoyed, Bearpaw made his way toward Littleflower and sat down wordlessly beside her. She was smart for sticking close to her own. - he respected that.
Silentpaw
Gender: Female Rank: Apprentice
Silentpaw sheepishly padded after the rest of her clanmates, her snow white fur glowing in the light of the full moon. She stopped at the top of the hill, blue eyes wide with uncertainty and fear. There were so many cats down her - all unfamiliar to the deaf apprentice. She hesitated for a while before eventually slinking down into the clearing, fur bristling at all of the strange scents surrounding her. These strange cats didnt smell like her or her kin at all - who were they?
She stumbled through the mass of cats and quickly ended up surrounded by unfamiliar faces and strange scents. Breath coming in quick gasps, Silentpaw turned this was and that, searching frantically for any of her clanmates but to no avail. She suddenly wished she was back home in her nest, sleeping like some of her luckier denmates.
With a whimper, Silentpaw crouched down low to the earth and buried her muzzle under her paws, eyes squeezed shut tightly. Where was everyone? Why did they leave her here with all of these strange cats? They were looking ather! Whispering! She just knew it!! She could feel their eyes on her, judging her for being the only cat here who had no idea what was going on.

Crowspirit
Crowspirit's attention was snapped back to the cheerful apprentice as he ran up to her, blinking in surprise. She hadn't expected an apprentice to approach her, but she sure didn't mind the company. "Definitely no," She laughed, shaking her head, "But the gathering can get quite messy sometimes, if tension is on the high. You don't need to worry about that, though. I'm sure we'd get called to go if it ever gets out of hand." The she-cat nodded, smiling.
"This must be your first gathering? Why don't you try going and talking to other apprentices? I'm sure they'd be nice."
Crowspirit is talking to Magpiepaw!
thrushnose
Thrushnose let out a small snicker of laughter at his sister's comment, glad she still retained her sense of humor despite everything. Nudging her by the shoulder, he let out a soft purr. "Let's hope nothing has to happen this gathering for lightning to be struck again. I'm sure even the leaders have learned their lessons." He grinned. In all honesty, he wasn't sure. But surely they'd have enough conscience themselves to know that letting such an issue linger and repeat wouldn't turn out well for anyone, much less themselves.
"And my nose? Clean, yes. But my shoulder? Not so much." He laughed, moving aside to raise his shoulder up for her to see. It was just a scar he got on an accidental scuffle with an owl during hunting, but a scar nonetheless. He figured Firefly might've noticed the change. "And your face? No new scars, I hope?" He smiled, hoping it'd only come off as harmless teasing.
Thrushnose is talking to Firefly!
Fennelbreeze
Fennelbreeze blinked, lifting her head to come and greet another warrior of her clan. The presence of the she-cat was, oddly enough, comforting, even if they weren't particularly close to one another. Not that she minded talking to her, or getting to know her more. "A lot of mixed feelings, is what I'd say. I'm uncertain, but I really hope this Gathering doesn't end up being like the last." She chuckled, shaking her head.
Soft, pale green eyes caught sight of the swollen bump of the she-cat's stomach, and an empathic sense of both warmth and concern washed over her at once. She didn't stare, in the case that it was rude, though she was happy to know that their clan might be having new additions soon. Just that her, being at this very Gathering, was a risk on its own. Her eyes flickered back up to meet her gaze, their topic still on being the one of the gathering. "And you? How are you feeling about this?" She tilted her head, trying to gauge Nectarflower's reaction.

Quickpaw was listening to Lightningbreeze, great questions about WindClan exactly what she wanted to answer at the moment. It would be awkward to just leave, so she stayed in like nothing happened. “The moor is where you can feel free to run at your highest speed, without running into a tree.” she worded it true and simple. “Whats it like with so many trees around? Not being able to run very fast.” at least she would imagine.

It was with excited hesitance that Beetlechaser followed Tawnyshadow into the gathering, worried that something bad would happen but looking forward to showing off their new name. This would be the first gathering they would attend that they were a full warrior, all of the clans would get to hear it: 'Beetlechaser'. The thought made their claws flex into the soft sand underpaw with excitement.
Keeping their distance with Windclan, Beetlechaser padded along the clearing's outskirts.
Lagging behind the rest of his clan, Jayfrost eventually padded into the clearing, a familiar, twisted expression of annoyance plaguing his features. Not a word left his mouth as he joined the rest of his clan, settling nearby his siblings.
Astershine's eyes lit up upon entering Fourtrees, the cacophony of the clans both exciting him and causing him anxiety. It was equally overwhelming and relieving to feel not a bit of tension in the air, but friendly conversation from every angle. Tonight, however, Astershine didn't feel well enough to put up with the sound, instead settling down right in the treeline where the underbrush began to grow. Far enough from the noise, close enough to hear announcements, and just in sight enough to be approached if some cat intended to make a friend.
Morningpaw bolted after the other apprentices, a mixture of shock and awe washing over him at the sheer amount of cats that were there. So the other apprentices really weren't lying, it was like every cat was there.
Scampering through the crowd, he left his clan without a second though, bound to accidentally bump into someone. Not that it mattered to him, it wasn't that big a deal.
Beetlechaser is open for conversation! Jayfrost is open for ocnversation! Astershine is open for conversation! Morningpaw is open for conversation!

Egretswoop
“I can see much from the clouds above.”
Egretswoop's liking of gatherings was dwindling by the heartbeat. Every time, it was nothing but an anxious experience for her. But, because of the fact that she had apprentices to bring, she forced herself along anyways. At the very least, her own former mentor, Rowansong, seemed to have a much easier time in the crowd. She stuck close to the tom, her fox pelt kept close to truly ward off many others from even considering interacting with her. She was... more than okay with that reality, truth be told. As Rowansong found a friend to speak to, Rainfrost by what he called them, she would stay close. Acting more like a silent sentry than anything else. Which was the slightest bit amusing, given she certainly didn't need to guard her former mentor.
A glance towards the Great Rock gave her an interesting sight. A single ear barely twitched from its pinned back position as she saw who just now gathered at its base, her memory recalling to the gorge battle not too long ago. Seems sense as finally struck Windclan. She considered fondly, her tail curling to be sure to touch some part of Rowansong's flank. For her sake, so she didn't have to blatantly eavesdrop on his conversation with his friend.
Egretswoop is clinging sitting near Rowansong! Approach the fox, if you dare!

Mistwalker
“Are you listening?”
Mistwalker hadn't been far behind, though seemed much more overall reserved. There wasn't anyone here she was particularly interested in meeting or conversing with. Her apprentices had scattered themselves amidst the crowd, so she gave a warm purr before glancing at the rest of Riverclan's cats. There was friendliness amongst them all, allowing the leader's daughter to depart just slightly before finding a place of her own to exist.

Mintpaw had followed the rest of Skyclan in. For whatever reason there was, her mentor couldn't make it to the Gathering. As she entered the clearing, it was safe to say that the molly instantly understood. There was... a lot of cats. The apprentice herself even figured it would be more than okay to miss out on one of these now and then, even just for the sake of staying sane. Flicking her tail, she moved further into the clearing, attempting to find someone to talk to. It wasn't much longer before she practically rammed right into the flank of another cat- another apprentice, from their size. "Oof! I'm so sorry!" Having to groom down her chest fur in embarrassment, the Skyclan molly righted herself and dipped her head. "Forgive me, I'm Mintpaw of Skyclan. My legs are a bit... unwieldy at times." She gave an innocent chuckle, hoping it made up for her blunder.

Having been sick for a little while, Curlyfluff was more than relieved to be able to stretch his legs and get out of camp. Following his clanmates as he usually did, the curly-pelted tom sat beside his friends as they all waited for the gathering to begin.
"Oh I'm not worried. I doubt any cat here could cause trouble for ShadowClan," he spoke, lifting his chin up as he glanced around the clearing. He really couldn't tell why some of the warriors were worried. ShadowClan was clearly the best clan. While looking around he held back a scoff. Some of these cats definitely looked... pampered. A kittypet could do more damage, he thought to himself.
"I think it's a waste of my time to talk to other apprentices outside of ShadowClan. What's the point of making friends with them when in the end they're just our enemy?" Magpiepaw looked around once more, spotting a familiar white and black pelt not far from him. "Right, Skunkpaw? I doubt any forest-dweller or fish-face would make good company anyways," he called out to his fellow apprentice with a laugh.

Poppyshine
Poppyshine grimaced at Wolfblossom and nodded.“I heard that there was a lot of collateral damage because of StarClan’s lightning…Hopefully nothing like that happens again for a long while,” she said with a sigh. “I’m glad that cats seems well.”
She fell quiet when a black cat approached their group and introduced himself. She withheld her visible surprise at the way that Sablestrike spoke of his former leader. She had her own qualms with Nightstar—Nightstalker—but Perchstar had taught her the importance of not showing such visible divide or trouble within one’s clan. It surprised her to hear it so outwardly from the new deputy. Regardless, she nodded and gave him the same bright smile she gave all cats. “It’s nice to meet you, Sablestrike. I hope we can get along well.”
Then WindClan’s new deputy came forward after that. Poppyshine, too, withheld her thoughts. It was a surprise to see that Shrikestar was gone as well, but not an unwelcome one. She liked Smallbean. (Was he Smallstar now?) Poppyshine hoped that he would make for a better leader for WindClan, and perhaps keep them out of further trouble. Poppyshine replied to Tigerdance, “Nice to meet you! I’m Poppyshine, the RiverClan deputy. Happy to have you.”
Pineblossom found Foxtrot to be rather charming. Perhaps it was his drawl, or the casual way he spoke. There were a couple of cats like that in ShadowClan, but many of them were like her, taking things quite seriously. She wondered how relaxing it was in SkyClanner to have an easygoing cat like Foxtrot.
Her thought was quickly countered by the nervous cat that approached. Mistflower’s appearance was a surprise. She had not expected to be approached as a ShadowClan cat after the last Gathering, but she supposed that the newcomer had just come to stay with a fellow SkyClanner, given her scent.
Pineblossom replied, “Nothing at all. We’re just talking. It’s nice to meet you as well. I’m Pineblossom.” She looked at Foxtrot again. “Regarding your question, yes, actually. She’ll be receiving her lives soon.” She decided to leave it at that. No need to mention the judgment that StarClan laid upon Nightstalker unless Leopardsun mentioned it in her announcements.
Pineblossom is speaking with Foxtrot and Mistflower.
Larkpaw pressed back against his sibling as he listened to the ThunderClanner’s excited response. His ears perked a little. Littlepaw. Their assessment of her had been quite accurate, it seemed.
Larkpaw’s chest puffed out and he replied, “We’ve been to quite a number, actually. We are older than most apprentices.” Both due to their length of time in training as well as being quite late to be apprenticed in the first place. They would be nearing the age of a lot of new warriors soon, but Larkpaw was not about to hold his breath about getting their warrior names any time soon. Rookpaw could, maybe. They were good like that. Larkpaw doubted Rowansong or Perchstar was ever going to give him his name.
Bubblepaw was very kind in offering that they all keep to their own group. Willowpaw didn’t get a chance to respond before Mothpaw suddenly was at their side. She hadn’t spoken much with the cat, but she recognized her clanmate all the same.
“Not yet,” Willowpaw answered Mothpaw. “There’s a nice group of us. I think we were going to find a place to settle down together.” There we go; inadvertently answering Bubblepaw’s proclamation without pushing Mothpaw out of the invitation either. She looked at Cinderpaw and heard the nervous hesitation in her tone. It reminded her of her own anxiety, though voiced aloud instead of it tangling inside of her chest. Willowpaw lifted her chin and pointed with a paw. “There’s a nice little clearing there, beneath that tree. Let’s all go lay there for a bit. I want to hear how all of your training has been going.”
Willowpaw then led the way. The spot was a bit more out of the way and closer to where some elders were lying, so it was quieter too without the loud chattering of all the cats surrounding them. Willowpaw walked in a brief circle to press down the grass and then laid down to get comfortable.
Willowpaw led Bubblepaw, Cinderpaw, and Mothpaw to a quieter area of the Gathering.

Stormdance
Fourtrees
Stormdance watched the crowd quietly, tucking his tail underneath his paws, lost in thought and checking on his friends and apprentices as they settled. It was an old habit to let his eyes drift over cats like Rowansong, checking on him even though he was long past the age where he needed any sort of supervision from his former mentor.
His ear twitched at an approaching voice, and he turned to look at the tom in front of him. Offering a small smile and a respectful dip of his head, Stormdance replied, “Hello. My name is Stormdance, of Riverclan. It is good to meet you. How are things with your clan?” He asked. He still remembered when gatherings and interactions like this would have him shaking from nerves. He’s grateful he’s gotten more confidence with age.
Stormdance is talking to Sootstorm!
Rainfrost
Fourtrees
Rainfrost stared evenly as Rowansong greeted him with seemingly as much drama as possible. He rolled his eyes at Rowansong’s prodding, partially to look away from that intense green. “I didn’t jump into the river for your benefit.” He grumbled, ear twitching. “I was learning how to swim.” Badly, and like a drowned rat, but. It’s the principle of the thing.
He sighed and looked outward again, just so he wouldn’t have to meet Rowansong’s gaze. “I just wanted to talk to someone I knew. I dislike gatherings and everyone’s always telling me to socialize more. Don’t read into it.” He shuffled from paw to paw, finally glancing back once more at the red-furred tom. “How have you been?” He asks, because it’s a polite question. And because maybe he wants to know. He’s certain that Rowansong will not answer with anything less than a speech, but, at least he’s used to chatty cats.
Rainfrost is talking with Rowansong!
Sunpaw
Fourtrees
Sunpaw stumbled a little in surprise when another cat approached him, and he swiveled his head around to look up at the taller newcomer with a big, big smile. “Oh! Hello!” He says, settling back to sit down with his tail swishing the grass behind him. “I’m good, yeah! I’m still getting used to the gatherings, they’re a lot, but they’re uh, fun, most of the time! It’s cool to see new faces ‘cause, y’know, I know everyone at home so you get used to seeing the same faces except for like, new kits and stuff.”
Sunpaw took a breath and then continued. “I’m Sunpaw! It’s nice to meet you, Crookedlight. I don’t think I’ve talked to someone from Skyclan before.” He smiled. Then he blinked in surprise again and turned his head to the newly approaching face, and smiled brightly to the younger apprentice. “Oh, hi Scarletpaw!” He chirped. “This is Crookedlight. He’s from Skyclan! Isn’t that cool?”
Sunpaw is talking with Crookedlight and Scarletpaw!
Wrenpaw
Fourtrees
Wrenpaw smiled warmly at Echosong. “Oh, yeah, we do! Reed stalks or sometimes beech leaves. It's cool that you guys use vines and stuff!" She said with a bobbing head nod. “Mind if I ask what it’s like over in Thunderclan?” She asks with a purr. “I haven’t actually spent much time at gatherings before, and I’m curious what life is like for other clans.” She settled with her paws tucked close and her tail happily swishing behind her, ears twitching from all the sound around her but eyes bright.
Wrenpaw is talking to Echosong!
Hawkpaw
Fourtrees
Hawkpaw’s fur was already bristling at the growing crowd, but he stumbled and let out a brief, soft hiss when Silverpaw was suddenly shoving his head into Hawkpaw’s side, Hawkpaw having not noticed his approach, caught up as he was in the overwhelming noise and sound. He glared and turned his head to shove it into Silverpaw’s shoulder in retaliation. “Hawk.” He corrected, the old routine familiar even if he knew there was no point to it, and then said, “And I’m not nervous. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m just sitting. What’s wrong with that?”
Despite his grousing, having Silverpaw with him really did immediately make Hawkpaw’s shoulders relax, as pathetic as that was. Hawkpaw opened his mouth to say something else, but a new figure joined them, and Hawkpaw’s head was snapping over to examine the other tom with narrowed golden eyes. Dovepaw, he said.
Hawkpaw’s eyes darted to Silverpaw at the last sentence the fish-smelling tom said, and then narrowed. Almost against his will, his teeth bared a little from his already open mouth. Silverpaw’s fur was pretty, and for some reason, Hawkpaw really didn’t like anyone else saying that. He tried to shake off the feeling quickly, even though it clung. He didn’t want to start a scene.
“Hawkpaw.” He said, low and grouchy. “He’s Silverpaw.” He paused, eyes still narrowed, and then he said, “You shouldn’t compliment him. He’s got too big of an ego as it is.” He jerks his head towards Silverpaw.

Blooming in chaos& confronting fear
bubblepaw
"The ShadowClan and WindClan cats on the rock weren't there last time, and they were the ones that caused the chaos at the last Gathering. I'm sure tensions are still a little high... but everyone should be friends now if the two new cats are a bit better than the old leaders."Bubblepaw explained to Cinderpaw. The she-cat smiled as another one of her friends padded up to join the conversation, Mothpaw. The topic of the last Gathering was seemingly still on everyone's minds, but that was to be expected. "Hi, Mothpaw." She greeted the apprentice before looking over at the other two she-cats. The unofficial vote had decided that they would stick to themselves, which Bubblepaw was alright with. There would be plenty more opportunities to converse with cats from other Clans. With StarClan's grace, she would see many moons in the future and many Gatherings. She nodded at Willowpaw's suggestion before following her over to the quieter spot that she had mentioned. What a calm little spot this was. They'd all be able to hear the announcements from the rock without having to be in the middle of the fray. "This is perfect... I wish I would've known about this spot sooner." Bubblepaw commented as she laid herself down and wrapped her tail around her paws.
bubblepaw is sitting with mothpaw, cinderpaw, and willowpaw!
thymepaw
Thymepaw looked around anxiously as she waited for the other apprentice to respond and silently returned Sorrelpaw's smile with one of her own. At first, she had no idea how the she-cat knew what Clan she was in. It was probably her scent. She nodded to confirm before opening her maw to respond, "Nice to mee-"
She had been interrupted.
She wasn't quite expecting the abruptness from Ravenpaw, but Thymepaw supposed it was her own fault for disturbing the ShadowClanner's peace. That was when the other cat told her that she could stay. She was a bit uneasy at first, but she then padded over to sit beside her new companion with a light smile gracing her face. When Ravenpaw brought up trees, the bi-colored molly felt her small smile grow a bit bigger. Now this was a topic that she enjoyed, flying through the trees. "Well, if I'm being honest, I'm still a new apprentice. I haven't caught a lot of prey yet." She explained, wrapping her tail around her paws. Her smile remained. It didn't matter if she hadn't caught that much yet, because she knew that the future would bring her the opportunity to do so. "What about you? ShadowClan cats live in the marsh, correct? It sounds lovely. I've never seen a marsh before." Thymepaw asked, tilting her head slightly to the side.

Sunfire followed after SkyClan and found a spot to sit near the center of the clearing. He'd gotten a decent amount of sleep that afternoon so he wasn't so tired, but he still wasn't really in the mood for conversation, especially not from the other clans. He hoped his unfriendly visage would be enough to keep any others at bay. Yellow eyes traveled across the clearing, settling on three of his daughters conversing with a RiverClan apprentice. He wrinkled his nose, claws sinking into the dirt at his paws, but said nothing and made no move to disturb them. His own siblings had been friendly with other clans at Gatherings, and he knew it was common for apprentices to have friends outside their own clan, but it still made him unhappy to see his own kits fraternizing.
Sunfire is open for conversation... at your own risk, if you're not SkyClan.
*
Lichenwing settled down near the edge of the clearing, though his eyes scanned the SkyClan cats as they appeared, searching for one in particular and coming up empty. He didn't know why he still looked for Juniperheart when it had been moons and moons since their last meeting, but part of him still longed to see her. Unexpectedly, a familiar colored pelt caught his eye, and the ash-colored tom's head snapped towards it... but that wasn't Juniperheart, it was an apprentice-sized tom who looked nearly identical to her. A frown played at Lichenwing's mouth, undisguised displeasure at the implication he'd made up all by himself. But curiosity triumphed over guilt and caution, and before he really knew what he was doing, Lichenwing was on his paws, sauntering casually in their direction. If these were Juniperheart's kits, he wanted to know.
There were two cats sitting with the little tom, one barely older, and one a full-grown she-cat with a silvery coat that looked vaguely familiar, like he'd definitely seen her around. His expression was friendly as he dropped down on to his belly about a fox-length away, offering a amiable dip of his head. "Afternoon," he said quietly. "Nice that the rain gave us enough of a break for the Gathering, eh?"
Lichenwing is talking to Littleflower, Silverwing, and Bearpaw of SkyClan.
*
Smokepetal hadn't wanted to come tonight, but duty unfortunately wouldn't take no for an answer. After the disaster that had been the last Gathering, the medicine cat was more than ready to never step foot into Fourtrees again... but thankfully, she'd reasoned with herself that she'd show up, for SkyClan... as long as she didn't have to sit anywhere near the rock. So that's what she did, hanging back instead with Firepool and the rest of SkyClan.
