Honeypaw was practically vibrating out of his pelt as he followed the mixture of Skyclan and Shadowclan cats to Fourtrees. He stuck close to Forestbreeze as much as he could as they walked, but he also kept catching himself running ahead a bit and having to force himself to slow back down. Despite all the tragedy that had befallen their clan as of late, between losing their territory for so long, being split in two, and then losing their leader, Honeypaw was finally feeling some semblance of hope. He knew where the rest of Shadowclan was, with Thunderclan, and that meant for the first time in moons he had the chance to see Iceheart.
There was a lingering anxiety in his chest that she wouldn’t be among the Thunderclan cats, that he lost her after all, but every time those thoughts came up in his head he forced them back down, unable to even bear the idea of it. As Skyclan filed into the clearing with their Shadowclan guests in tow, the smell of a mixture of Thunderclan and the familiar scent of his own clan hit Honeypaw’s nose, and a purr burst out of his chest immediately.
He didn’t hesitate before breaking off from the group, unable to even focus enough to speak to Forestbreeze or anyone else. Instead he began to squirm through the quickly-growing crowd of cats, eyes frantically searching everywhere he went for any sign of his mentor, mouth dry.
Honeypaw is primarily on the hunt for Iceheart, but is otherwise open for conversation!
Stormdance
Stormdance was towards the back of the group of Riverclan cats. He was still tired, recovering from his stint in the medicine den, and while his leg had healed enough for Dovesight to clear him to make the trip to Fourtrees, he still walked with a limp. He tried to hold his head high, and present the image of Riverclan’s strength despite their recent struggles, but it was hard to maintain.
He looked around as they entered the clearing, smiling a little as he recognized the scent of Shadowclan mingling among the other clans. Good. If Shadowclan was on the mend, and all five clans were attending the gathering, perhaps some balance could be returned to the forest. Good news was appreciated, even if it wasn’t for his own clan. Still, he frowned a little as he realized the change in leadership on top of the Great Rock, wondering what had befallen both the Shadowclan and Thunderclan leader. He’ll find out soon enough, he supposed.
With a sigh he found a comfortable enough place to sit towards the back of the crowd, not feeling like pushing through the gathering group of cats with his leg starting to ache with the travel. He settles down with his tail curling over his paws, looking around and taking note of the attendees, as well as, as always, keeping half an eye on his apprentice.
Silverpaw bounded into fourtrees after her leader. It would be her first time at a gathering, and she was excited to meet cats of other clans. The apprentice's eyes landed on a familiar face. Brackenwing! Surely the warrior knew could introduce her to some of the other clan cats. She definitely seemed old enough to know half of the forest. Silverpaw padded to the warrior's side before giving it a quick poke with her paw. "Hey Brackenwing, what are we doing just standing around?"
___________
As Stoatpaw entered the gathering behind his clan, he wasted no time in joining a crowd of cats near the center of fourtrees.
Woolywing followed his Clanmates into the clearing, walking slow and low to the ground. It was a true test of all his training, given all the conflicting sounds and smells. He'd been to the gathering twice before, of course, giving him some idea of the layout. His nose was near useless here, everyone's scents merged into one confusing mess. So he focused on his ears and mostly his whiskers, relying on them to lead him to a relatively quiet spot. He sat down, curling his tail around his paws. His ears were pricked up, ready to alert him of anyone approaching. He hoped someone would. Just because he was blind didn't mean he didn't want to meet new cats, and there was always plenty of cats to meet at a gathering.
-----------------------
Blackbear strode into the clearing, her now slightly scarred form standing out by virtue of her height and immense mass of fur. Fur that was becoming increasingly irritating in this humidity. Was Greenleaf ever going to end? She scowled and grumbled to herself, tail twitching. She found a decently empty spot, about a foxlength away from anyone else. She looked around, her gaze lingering on an odd-looking white cat who had no eyes. She wondered how he lost them. Maybe he was blinded as punishment for some horrible crime. She looked away again, hoping nobody would approach.
Woolywing is open to conversation!

It wasn't long before someone had approached, and Brackenwing was relieved that the someone in question was one of her own clanmates. Even if that clanmate had poked her in the side. Apprentices... "Hey, Silverpaw," Brackenwing mewed a soft greeting to the apprentice. Standing around? Her whiskers twitched, "Oh, don't worry, I expect announcements will start soon. We're not usually the last to arrive. It looks like there's new leaders, unless deputies are just filling in for the night." Her tail flicked, pointing out the Shadowclan deputy and the she-cat that was Thunderclan's, if she remembered correctly.
That last part had been interesting. New leaders, huh? The apprentice studied the two cats that her clanmate had indicated. Though interesting, they did little to keep the silver she-cat's attention. "We can't just wait here for the announcements to start, let's go!" Silverpaw sent another paw into the warrior's side, this time with a little more force. "You've gotta introduce me to some cats. It's my first gathering, and you're responsible for showing me a good time." A grin split the apprentice's face as she tried to spur Brackenwing into action. "I'm sure a SENIOR warrior like yourself has a lot to teach this young apprentice," she mewed, putting emphasis on the word senior. Though she had said it jokingly, she doubted Brackenwing would have nothing to say about it.

Crowpsirit hesitantly padded into the clearing, her figure making sure to stay close to Swiftheart. She and Duskflight were the closest cats she knew of in SkyClan. Other than that, she barely knew anyone at all, still. But she had briefly met with a warrior called Wolfblossom, by accident. However, as ShadowClan's scent mingled with other clans entered her nostrils, the molly let out a sigh of relief. The others are here!
A sense of joy now sparked in her as she set her eyes on Harechaser from a distance. Her aunt was still alive! Grinning, she hurriedly trotted over, a joyous purr coming out of her throat as she greeted the warrior. "Harechaser! You're alright," She smiled. "We were all so worried. I've missed you, aunt Harechaser... But I'm glad you're alright. Did you find anyone else?"
Crowspirit is talking to Harechaser!
Duskflight
Duskflight had been in a solemn mood since Froststar's passing. Nightstalker sitting atop of the Great Rock with the leaders instead of where he would usually sit, 'Nightstar' would be a new name he'd have to get used to, once again. Changes would be rapid, each leader getting replaced by another. A small, quiet sigh as he breathed out, the dark-furred tom sat alone, his gaze only looking up towards the leaders.
Duskflight is open for conversation! (ShadowClan preferred)
Fawnshine
Fawnshine walked into the Gathering with relative high poise, her tail raised in a seemingly friendly sign to approach. StarClan's prophecy briefly flashed in her mind, yet she knew not much about how to decipher them. They surely had to be tricky, hadn't they? Heading with Eggdrop to meet with the other medicine cats, she offered them a nod and smile in greeting, curious to know how they have been. After all, she should start to get a better understanding of them.
She was a medicine cat too, after all.
"Dovesight, Sandypaw, greetings," She would nod, "How have the pass moon been treating you all? I hope the predators of RiverClan have lessened, perhaps?" Looking over to the apprentice, the molly would flick her tail in interest. "It would be your first Gathering, wouldn't it? You're welcome to ask me, or any of us for guidance." That would mean to the other medicine cats — as well as Eggdrop and herself.
Fawnshine has approached Dovesight and Sandypaw!
Hawkshriek
Hawkshriek confidently strutted into the Gathering, as always. This time, he bore some new scars — with pride. They were so-called 'achievements' from protecting his younger brother from harm. Though, he knew and saw many more who had scarier, more grand scars. He wasn't the only one that would be strutting off his new 'look'. There was a black tom of ShadowClan origins from a distance, his body scattered with scars... How many fights has he been in? Though he was curious to find out more, a few clanmates have caught his eye.
"Not the newest of options, picking to talk with your clanmates at a Gathering, is it?" He flashed them all a friendly smile. Brookstone, Stormdance, and Rowanpaw. "How ya all doin'? Nearly all of us are warriors now, aren't we? It feels like yesterday we were apprentices." He laughed.
Hawkshriek is talking to Brookstone, Stormdance, and Rowanpaw!
Scorchtalon ambled into the gathering, his tail dragging across the ground behind him. Lately, he just hadn't been in the best mood. After the disappearance of his family and being forced to end his relationship with Marshmallow, he was grieving in more ways than one. The usually happy-go-lucky tom found a spot near his clan, plopping down with slumped shoulders and a grim expression on his face. He barely took notice of the new faces on the Great Rock, his gaze finding his paws absently. He glanced up briefly to scan the gathered cats, hoping to see Marshmallow among them, but his search was fruitless. He couldn't wait for the gathering to be over, all he wanted to do now was curl up in his nest and sleep for at least a moon.
Scorchtalon Sad Boi is open for conversation, but looking for Marshmallow
Molepaw was comforted by Twilightpaw's reassurance, but was still anxious about the large group of cats. "Thanks Twilightpaw, but aren't you nervous around all these cats too? I'm not used to so many cats, especially from all the other clans." She mewed. She pushed herself against Twilightpaw, feeling safe with him next to her.
Molepaw is talking to Twilightpaw. --------
Beechpaw rushed into Fourtrees, amazed at the amount of cats around. He puffed his chest out and trotted around the clearing, sitting in a patch of soft grass. I will show every cat how strong I am! Soon, I can show all of them that I will be the best warrior, and always protect my clan. He thought to himself.
Comfreyheart loyally perused Mottlerose and the rest of her clanmates, keeping an eye on the dark woods beyond their trodden path. The truce between clans didn’t mean threats weren’t still present. A curious predator could easily try for a bite. Or something much worse could rear it's ugly face again. Even after talking with her sister (and best friend) last gathering, she still couldn’t shake the need to be present. To her, the possibility of danger was more likely at gatherings than her camp.
Once her clan was settled in the clearing below, the molly was quick to take her spot neath the trees, at the edge of moonlight’s reach. Maybe this would become some sort of tradition for the watchful warrior. It seemed the duties of a sentry were all that could satiate her anxieties of these nights.
[Comfreyheart is watching over the gathering at the edge of Fourtrees.]
Sandypaw
Fourtrees
Sandypaw returned her mentor’s smile, filled with curiosity for this event. The idea was comforting. A night solely to get to know the other clans and share news. To build connections and bonds. It was good news for medicine cats, because the less hostile everyone was, the less cat-inflicted injuries. The plague of predators was hard enough on Riverclan, and Sandypaw wasn’t confident Dovesight could take much more. She tried to be as helpful as she could, but there was only so much she could do as just an apprentice against Sprucepaw’s constant mishaps.
Sandypaw snuggled up close to her aunt, both to comfort her and as protection from any socializing felines. While she loved the idea of the clans mingling and forming friendships, she was too scared to do such herself. She had no idea how to talk to other clan cats. Too much she could mess up. For now she would sit tight and wait to see how gatherings usually went. She had heard unpleasant stories of the things that could happen here, but surely it isn’t like that all the time right?

【Forestbreeze】
❒ Amber eyes flicked every which way as their owner frantically searched for a specific figure among the growing crowd. Forestbreeze was hot on Honeypaw's heels as they both looked and looked for the missing piece of their trio. Iceheart had to be at the Gathering. She had to be. He wasn't going to stop looking for her—Honeypaw probably had the same thought. This was their chance to reunite with Iceheart. He just hoped she was okay. The sadness that panged him after Froststar's death was still fresh within the hearts of Shadowclan. He was sure that by now, the other half of their clan had been told of the tragedy. Perhaps now, that they can see each other again, they can grieve their fallen leader together. For now, Iceheart and Honeypaw took top priority.
║ Forestbreeze is following Honeypaw as they search for Iceheart! He is unable to take conversations at this time! ║
🪨【Brookstone】🪨
❒ Brookstone slowly entered the Gathering with an interested yet cautious look on her face. It appeared that there had been a lot of drama going on behind the scenes in the other clans. She wasn't too sure what was going on but she could practically smell the sadness and anxiousness that permeated the air. She decided to push down her curiousness for now. They'll probably share the news once the Gathering officially began.
❒ The young warrior craned her neck to glance at where Stormdance was located. She didn't want to be clingy but she couldn't help but worry that he'd strain himself too much. He was still recovering from his injuries, after all.
❒ She sighed and plopped down in a random spot not too far from her best friend just in case. She didn't feel like going around trying to start up a conversation. If someone came to her then that was fine. She was just feeling a bit lazy at that moment.
║🪨 Brookstone is open to conversations! 🪨║
【Briarpaw】
❒ The young Thunderclanner arrived to the Gathering with a guarded curiosity. She was a few steps behind her sister, Molepaw, and her brother, Twilightpaw. She half-heartedly listened in on their conversation as she eyed the scene around her. She wasn't feeling her greatest at that moment. Her father, Minnowstar, was currently ill and she couldn't help but worry. Her mother had to take his place for this Gathering. She prayed that he got better soon.
❒ Shaking away all her thoughts, she quickened her pace until she was walking beside her siblings. She had barely caught Molepaw's last few words. "Despite there being a large number of strangers here, we mustn't forget that among the unfamiliar faces are those familiar to us. Nobody can try anything without invoking the wrath of Starclan for breaking the night of peace and our clan for attacking one of their own," she meowed gently to Molepaw as she pressed a grounding shoulder to hers. She offered Twilight a steady smile and a nod.
❒ She surveyed the area before turning back to look at her companions. "Should we stick together for the night? I do not mind either way."
║ Briarpaw is speaking with her siblings, Molepaw and Twilightpaw! ║

She snorted lightly at Stormsong's comment, looking at him with a cautious glance - but if pried, it would be one of disgust and annoyance. The molly was definitely of the mindset that he shouldn't have made the trip out to Fourtrees and back, insisting that she wouldn't help to carry him when he was tired, but there was clear amusement in her eyes at his ever so slightly lumbering gait. As her brother arrived she watched the other tom depart, waving him away with her tail. Aether asked if she was okay, and she felt a little stunned into silence for a moment.
Green eyes took careful notice of Moonlily laying within a few tail-lengths of the siblings, and knew she should probably monitor what was said. Did SkyClan know of his crimes as a rogue? Did they know the full extent of the horrors he witnessed and participated in? Thistlemask couldn't risk his former life becoming common knowledge like hers now was. She resolved to keeping her sentences short and vague, hoping he'd understand.
"Aether... they know everything," she spoke quietly, shaking her head sadly. "He-" The molly flicked her tail up at the rock, clearly aimed at one black tom. "- knew me. Everyone in ThunderClan and our... guests know. Mottlerose won't exile me, but what if he..." Her voice dropped lower, "I'm scared he'll go to war, Aether. I can't risk endangering innocent lives just for my own protection. He confronted me in my own camp, turned my clanmates against me. He'll stop at nothing to get rid of me, for our father's crimes." The molly looked horribly sad, ears downturned and tail curled tightly against her body.
"And the worst part is, I can barely say I blame him."
Thistlemask is talking to Crimsonflame.
The humid summer air was making her extra pelt rather uncomfortable, but Grebedance was hesitant to ever shed it now, finding herself intensely attached to the dried out raccoon she wore daily. As the clans settled in, she looked at her former apprentice with intense fondness, appreciating how she wore her mink pelt wrapped over her shoulders like she wore her own. The molly had long accepted the unlikelihood of ever having her own kits, but the bond between herself and Minksplash was more than enough to curb that niggling ache, and she valued it greatly. She kept walking through throngs of cats, finding herself near a group of ThunderClan apprentices, and decided to entertain herself with them for the night.
Grebedance raised her slightly bowed head, revealing the cat under the raccoon. "Greetings!" She purred, taking a seat nearby. "I'm Grebedance of RiverClan, is this the first gathering you've all attended?" Stars, she hoped if it was, she hadn't just scared them off with her predator pal.
Grebedance has approached Briarpaw, Molepaw and Twilightpaw!

Beetleshade strode into the gathering with her clan, optimism sparking in her pale yellow eyes. Now that the Shadowclan cats had recovered enough to attend the gathering, hopefully they could go home soon and things would finally get back to normal. She found a spot near her clanmates, idly wondering if any interesting would happen tonight.
Beetleshade is open for conversation
Now that the initial chaos of Shadowclan's occupancy had subsided, Plumpaw found herself settling into her duties easily. Once she'd memorized most of the herbs and uses, everything else seemed to come naturally, and she found she quite enjoyed serving her clan in this way. She joined the other medicine cats, giving them a friendly nod in greeting.

"I see. Well, I don't mind being with you guys. I don't know if I would be here without you guys." Molepaw mewed. She loved her family, and she couldn't go without them. She purred, licking Twilightpaw on the ear, and running her muzzle against Briarpaw.
A cat walked up to the trio, wearing a raccoon pelt. Molepaw heard her say that she was named Grebedance, from Riverclan. She shuffled her paws, and mewed, "Yes, this is our first Gathering. My name is Molepaw." Molepaw concentrated on the raccoon pelt. She didn't see many cats wear animal pelts. She liked it, but figured she wouldn't look best in a creature's pelt.

Rowanpaw followed RiverClan quietly into the clearing, no usual hop to his step or chattering calls for someone to talk to. Though he'd escaped with light injuries compared to those Stormdance had suffered, the persistently dull ache at the base of his neck served as a constant reminder of the sobering experience. He hadn't wrapped his head entirely around it yet; often, he felt he never would.
His gaze flicked through the gathered Clans, searching for some poor, lonely apprentice he could go bother, when his eyes landed on a dark shape lingering at the back of RiverClan's crowd. His tail twitched, and Rowanpaw rocked back and forth on his paws with silent deliberation. Eventually, he pushed his way gracelessly through the crowd of bodies until he could settle at Stormdance's side.
"Hello," Rowanpaw mewed, curt. Reclining on his haunches, he draped his tail across his paws– just like his mentor beside him –and turned his attention towards the rest of the milling crowd. It was hard to look at Stormdance directly, for too long, at least. When he did, Rowanpaw always found his eyes focusing on the deep wound marring his leg, or the way he'd been limping around camp. If he thought he were capable of such a feeling, he'd think he felt guilty. "How are you faring, Stormdance? Not poorly, I'm sure, since we've dragged you all the way out here."
Rowanpaw is talking to Stormdance.
Birdchaser entered the clearing on Briarstar's heels, a deep scowl darkening her features. Not only was ShadowClan still dwelling within their camp, which was irritant enough with all the extra tails to trip over, but their leader had died there. It made an odd, cold feeling wash over her when she thought of it. Half of the Clan wouldn't have even known; hopefully, someone– StarClan or otherwise –had told them.
Huffing quietly to herself, the large she-cat approached the base of the Great Rock, ears twitching to try and catch what was said between Briarstar and Nightstalker. As she settled in, ThunderClan arrived as well. The nice tortoiseshell she'd talked to last moon strode right by and leaped up to join the other leader's on the rock. Birdchaser's ears lowered, and she craned her neck up to look at the cats above her. Thankfully, the other leaders were familiar, Shrikestar and Perchstar arriving in turn. Looking back on the ground, Birdchaser settled in to wait for the Gathering to begin.
Birdchaser is open to talk with other deputies.
Dayquill settled at the fringes of ThunderClan as the joined the swelling crowd, sat quietly and patiently. Secretly, selfishly, he hoped he would get a chance to talk to Blazefang at this Gathering, too. It would be hard to deny her if she showed up, at least. As long as he could tamp down the warmth that stirred in his chest if she did show up.
Dayquill is hoping to talk to Blazefang, but is open to talk.
Crimsonflame inhaled sharply, eyes traveling to the dark tom on the rock.
This just got a whole lot worse.
"We'll figure this out, okay? You said Mottlerose wouldn't exile you? That proves she is an ally. That is one. You have me, that is two. That tom you were talking to, he's a friend, right? Well, I assume that is three. Not to mention you have your whole Clan backing you up. You're not alone in this, Achlys. We're not kits following dad around anymore, and if they try anything, we'll give them worse than he ever could."
He nudged his sister affectionately, a grin on his face, but he was scared. Just as scared as his sister was. Froststar was dead, and that meant the tom would be getting nine lives. What could he do against that? And he knew who he was too. Stars, why had he gotten so cocky?
His gaze traveled to Moonlily, and he straightened up. "Ah, Moonlily, how are things faring for you?"
Crimsonflame is talking to Thistlemask and has addressed Moonlily
