Why is the murderer killing the victim?: Buttercup tries to force Heatherpetal to return with her to DawnClan and Heatherpetal attacks her mother out of self-defense, but ends up accidentally miscalculating an attack and slashes her throat out

Why is the murderer killing the victim?: Silentstorm will be trespassing will escaping a predator. He would alredy be hurt (Because Echopaw can probly not be able to take down a warrior alone) from trying to chase away the predator. Echopaw would by hunting close by would see the warrior, pin him down and start battlling, Echopaw would not realize how badly hurt Silentstorm was and accidentally kill him.

Why is the murderer killing the victim?: Tensions are high between both clans at the moment, making the murder very reasonable. Sharptooth's world has also always been black-and-white, so an eye for an eye will help her cope with Thistlepaw's death. The murderers won't be trying to kill Rowanpaw, it'll be an accident.

Why is the murderer killing the victim?: Finpaw's going to be at the Thunderpath when a predator appears, and then a Thunderclan patrol(Wildpaw, Newtpaw, Daisyheart) comes along and helps to kill it. However, now Finpaw is hurt and on Thunderclan land. Being ruthless as she is, Wildpaw "teaches him a lesson" before he can run and leaves him unable to move, half-dead by the Thunderpath. He dies of these wounds soon after.
