April's Gathering 2016

Gentlepaw leaned against Jayflight, curling her tail around his. "I'm so glad I met you," she breathed softly, a fuzzy feeling spreading through her body.

Jayflight stayed silent for a while then spoke quietly "Me too" he murmured.

Amberclaw walked in and sat next to Skyclan cats reconsigning a few.

Treepelt jumped up and greeted Amberclaw, "Haha I have seen you before, dark forest ring a bell." She chuckled hitting him on the back.

Dunepaw followed Amberclaw, with Barkpaw behind him. When they reached the gathering, Barkpaw and he went to sit with ShadowClan in silcnce. Dunepaw wanted someone othe rhtan Dunepaw to talk to, but he didn't know any of the other cats not in his Clan.

Barkpaw followed Dunepaw,and sat silently. He wanted the same thing as Dunepaw, and couldn't do it for the same reason.

Jayflight scented some more cats join in, he blinked and quickly groomed himself "So are you excited about becoming a warrior?" he randomly asked, he just tried to bring up some random topics while they waited for the other clans to arrive and for the gathering to start.

Fishstar led RiverClan into the Gathering next, holding her head a little higher than usual. ThunderClan wouldn't be mocking them in front of the rest of the Clans anymore, that was for sure. The RiverClan leader would still have to mind her words, however. She had no intention of appearing smug, like Spottedstar had so many moons ago, after the Sunningrocks battle. Leaping up onto the Great Rock, Fishstar sat down and curled her tail around her paws.

Danwflower followed after her leader occasionally looking back to check on Nightpaw. She was quite protective of the apprentice even thought the apprentice could easily take care of herself. She watched in silence as Nightpaw speed off as soon as they reached the clearing. The Shadowclan Medicine Cat opened her mouth to call her semi daughter back, but closed her jaws. Nightpaw knew how to behave, and it would be good for her to interact with other clans. She let out a small hum, and then walked over to the other medicine cats. "Greetings Dreamleaf, Oceanpaw. How have you two been and your clans?" She asked.

Frostfall followed after Fishstar. She didn't like that fact that Reedfang wasn't here... He should be here not her. She should have been the one to get taken, not him, but here she was praying to the dark forest that he would return. Starclan didn't have power anymore. Which was good in her opinion. Starclan never had the power to do anything. She looked among the other's and spotted a cat she recognized from the gathering. She knew they were dark forest, but she would rather stay among her own clan at the moment to not seem suspicious.

Swiftpaw followed Fishstar into the clearing. She sat down near the middle. She looked up at the sky. She was freaked out by the dying trees.

Ferretpaw bounded into the clearing, abandoning her clan completely in favor of dashing around the trees as fast as her paws could carry her. She didn't notice the sickly state of Fourtrees in her excitement, she was busy taking in the mingling scents of the clans. "'Scuse, pardon, sorry, make way!" she mumbled at various cats as she weaved around them. She saw a RiverClan apprentice standing not too far from her. She was a she-cat, and she looked upset by the trees. She looked up and her face fell. "...Oh," she whispered, slightly horrified for a moment. She decided to say hello to Swiftpaw. "Hello! I'm Ferretpaw, I'm from ShadowClan. This is my first gathering! How are you?"


Goosepaw nearly had a stroke. He traveled right behind Fishstar all the way until she had to leap onto the great rock. He was not prepared to face ThunderClan, or any clan for that matter. There were too many of them! His little heart thumped in his chest as he slipped into the shadows.


Scorchpaw frowned at RiverClan as they entered, chuckling at a puny looking grey apprentice. He turned his cheek when more apprentices came forth, trying to avoid his treacherous brother. He looked around to see if Cinnamonpaw had joined ShadowClan. He couldn't see her pelt anywhere.


Lilypaw smiled crookedly, her big brown eyes sparkling with interest at the various cats. Are all the clans here at last?

"Greetings, Dawnflower! Thunderclan is doing well, just a little chaotic after our... recent encounter," Dreamleaf mewed, avoiding the use of invasion.
"And how is Riverclan?" she asked.

Oceanpaw nodded. "SkyClan is well. I got the hang of healing wounds after our " meeting"." Like Dreamleaf, she didn't want to say "invasion" or "battle".

Lionpaw padded in after Fishstar.

Aspenpaw padded in, not next to his sister this time. After his killings, he needed to cool down and back off a bit. Though he enjoyed it, he needed to contemplate things after, and it being so recently, he did. He went over to a Skyclan apprentice, Lilypaw. "Hey," he mused. Though not social, talking was a way of contemplating things. He could think, but also remove his mind of treacherous feelings.

Darkpaw padded into Fourtrees with Riverclan and looked around briefly while he paused at the top. His multi colored eyes picked out Scorchpaw, the crazy Thunderclan cat whom he had run into at the barn, in the midst of all the clans. Darkpaw's eyes narrowed as he let out a growl. Next, his gaze locked onto a cat named Thinstripe, who he had gotten into a fight with a moon or so ago. There was a pattern here, wasn't there? All the insane cats were from Thunderclan, and they all seemed to dislike or think that Darkpaw was related to them somehow. With a huff, the apprentice avoided eye contact with everyone and settled down next to Lionpaw.

Frozenflame watched quietly as the cats poured into the clearing. A few other deputies came over to the deputy spot and sat down, but none seemed to acknowledge him. That's good, right? That none of the others seem to notice me? Some stress was lifted off of him while he agreed to himself that it was a good thing.

Silverstone looked around at everyone who was in Fourtrees. She then started to check out the toms and figure out which one was the cutest. Yeah, she had a thing for Fallencloud, but she still thought some other toms were cute, too. There was one particular tom who caught her eye; his fur was a silverish color and his eyes were a bright blue. He looked to be an apprentice, and from what she heard around her, his name was Goosepaw. She watched as he slipped into the shadows, then she stood up and padded after him. "Hey," she purred as she approached him. "I'm Silverstone. You look a bit lonely, mind if I keep you company?"

Halfmoon came in with the rest of RiverClan. She was less ashamed of her deformity now that RiverClan and SkyClan were the two moat powerful forest Clans, but she still didn't like it. She didn't want to talk to anyone so she sat alone.

Poolpaw ran eagerly into her first ever Gathering. So many sights! She saw her crush, Aspenpaw. She started to walk shyly up to him, being quiet so as to surprise him. She stopped when she saw him sitting next to a beautiful SkyClan she-cat. Hurt, she sat alone, feeling miserable. How could I think he likes me? He's the handsomest tom in RiverClan, for heavens sakes. And I'm not purebred RiverClan, or pretty, or... She sighed and looked at the leaders miserably, wanting to go home as soon as possible. She had been excited, but now she just felt sick.
