April's Gathering 2016

Jayflight heard a familiar voice, the voice was calling his name. It was Gentlepaw! He turned to face her "Gentlepaw!" he licked her "I'm so glad to see you! And guess what?" he didn't let her respond and quickly put in "My name, I'm a warrior now my name is Jayflight!" he realized that they were both different ranks but didn't care, he leaned towards her "But that doesn't make it so we cant still see each other" he whispered.

OOC: He was defending Scorchpaw not Snowstorm, sorry if it sounded like that XD

Gentlepaw's amber eyes lit up with happiness. "Really? Oh that's great! Jayflight, it has a nice ring to it," she purred softly. "I'll catch up to you soon enough, my warrior ceremony isn't far from tonight! So what else is new with you?" she wanted to know everything that had happened in the tom's life since they had been apart.

OOC: I knew he was yelling at snowstorm, thats why scorchpaw told him to back off. He didn't need attention being drawn to himself xD

Scorchpaw froze as his clanmate approached Jayflight. Gentlepaw knew his friend? He had never really talked to Gentlepaw before, but that was probably why he never heard about this. His eyes narrowed suspiciously. "Well, I don't mean to impose, if you and Gentlepaw want to catch up, I'll leave you two alone..." He refused to trust anyone he hadn't seen in the Dark Forest. Especially this one. He was looking out for Jayflight, just in case.

Jayflight purred respectively at Scorchpaw "T-thanks" he hoped he didn't know about him Gentlepaw, he had a question ringing in his head to tell her but was trying to wait until she would be a warrior "So I have an apprentice, she's my little sister, Lilypaw" he flicked his tail towards her remembering the death of Mapledrop "And Mapledrop...Didn't survive it..." he shook his head "But that was in the past, the present is what's important" he mewed.

Snowstorm silently chuckled under her breathe. They just don't care she has to see life with her left eye. If she wasn't as merciful as she was, she would of slashed their eyes and see if they would be mad at her. She wouldn't do it. She already knows the answer. The least Jayflight can do is, I don't know,  care.

OOC: Total math.

Jayflight began to dislike Snowstorm "Mind?" he wanted to be left alone with Gentlepaw so he could talk to her, he spotted an small spot where no cat was and the moon gleamed "Lets go over there" he suggested to Gentlepaw and he flicked his tail over to the spot "That's a place we can talk" he walked over and sat down waiting for Gentlepaw to join him.

OOC: She didn't move...

Gentlepaw blinked a few times at Scorchpaw, finally noticing the tom. She was so caught up with Jayflight, that she hadn't even noticed Thinstripe's son was with Jayflight. "He hasn't been an apprentice long, when did he meet Jayflight? And why didn't Jayflight say that they knew each other?" Gentlepaw tried to shake away any suspicions, telling herself that both toms were good cats. She knew Jayflight well, and if Thinstripe was Scorchpaw's mother, the younger apprentice couldn't have a bad bone in his body. Gentlepaw turned back to Jayflight, her eyes lit up with a large smile. "That's great, Jayflight! But oh, I'm so sorry about Mapledrop!" she pressed against the grey tom, wishing she could take his sorrow from him and make him happy again.

Jayflight rubbed again against Gentlepaw "It's fine, she's in a better place. At least not in a place where the clans are fighting" he meowed softly.

OOC: Shortness ;-;

Gentlepaw nodded, still quietly purring. It was so nice being with Jaypaw, he made her forget all her worries...

OOC: kk, I was just about to say we should wait for more people so.

Scorchpaw sighed and stood tall in the center of the clearing. He felt as though his fur had been rubbed the wrong way. He was just especially grumpy today. He waited for the rest of the Clans to arrive. He wondered if the Dark Forest had any interesting tricks up their sleeves for tonight. 


Lilypaw watched Jayflight converse with a ThunderClan she-cat with growing unease. She was standing waaaaay too close to her brother. The apprentice shook it off and rested her head on her paws, hoping for someone of interest to appear in the clearing.

Mintpaw looked around with her out-of-character nervousness. She didn't really have anyone else to talk to, and the fact that Fourtrees didn't look right was still freaky.

OOC: i just realized that Thinstripe kind of adopted Tulip XD

In silence, Thrushstar led his clan into the clearing. He didn't bother looking up at the sky. He knew how bad it was, and he could tell just by looking at the dying trees that surrounded the Great rock. He had mixed feelings about all of this. He vaguely knew what was going on now, but there wasn't anything he could do about it, and it wasn't like he wanted to anyway. Starclan never helped him out, so why should he try to help them? Besides, if they were gone for good, he couldn't do anything anyway.

The still fresh, pink scar seemed to gleam around his neck. It still wasn't quite fully healed from when he was attacked, which was a bit strange. Thrushstar couldn't tell if it was because he was cut so deep or if that's just how things were now that Starclan was gone. Either way, he was sure at this point that the injury had permanently affect his voice, so he was not looking forward to this gathering. With a quick leap, he landed on the Great rock with a bit of a wobble before he straightened himself out and looked with a stone-like expression at Crowstar and Darkstar. His eyes narrowed in confusion for a moment, but he didn't bother asking about it. If Spottedstar was gone, he didn't necessarily mind.

"Greetings," he said to the leaders, his voice raspy to the point that it almost sounded painful. The word was quickly followed by a low growl as the tip of his tail flicked around in annoyance that he was stuck speaking like this. Rather than continuing to talk, the Shadowclan leader found his spot and sat down, waiting for the others before the Gathering started.
