April's Gathering 2016

What little light the moon had was covered mostly by clouds in the night sky. The stars looked dim, trees losing the vigorous blush of green that had shown it was Greenleaf. It was like Leafbare never ended. Howling winds screeched as they tore through the clearing where the five clans would come to meet again. It was a broken sight to behold.

Crowstar looked out to the fourtrees in the distance. He never imagined that it would look like this. It looked like they were still going through leaf-bare, but his territory was going through the change new-leaf brought so why wasn't that happening here? Was it because starclan wasn't around anymore? He shook his head, and lead his clan down into the area where the five clans would meet, if any of them would show up after what happened last time. The leader didn't stop on his way to the rock, and just waltzed right over, and jumped on the rock waiting on the other leaders.

Jayflight followed behind Crowstar, he took a seat and waited for ThunderClan, well mostly Gentlepaw to arrive.

Pebblethorn slowly padded behind Crowstar, her muscular figure looking small in the barren area. The greenleaf territory of theirs hadn't swept into the Gathering area yet, she supposed, but that didn't seem to be the case. She took her place beneath the rock.

Snowstorm walked into the clearing with Crowstar. She looked up at the sky. She saw the dim stars in the sky. She would hope this will be a calm, normal, and peaceful gathering.

Oceanpaw crept into the clearing. She was nervous. Something wrong happened at the last gathering. It wasn't a blood moon, or something normal, the screams she heard proved that. She took a deep breath.

Treestep followed her leader into the Fourtrees, hoping not to talk to any Thunderclan cats.

Jayflight was different than the others, he was looking for ThunderClan. He was looking for someone who had promised to meet him at the gathering, an apprentice, that apprentice was Gentlepaw. He tried to scent ThunderClan as his head turned all around.

Mintpaw nervously padded into the clearing after her leader, ears flattened in anxiety. It was her first gathering, but she was afraid, rather than excited. Fourtrees didn't look like the rest of the forest, and it unnerved her, changing the boisterous and brave apprentice.

Jayflight scented his old friend Mintpaw, he turned his head "Hey" he greeted.

Elkheart followed in the center of the group, glad that he had his thick fur to keep him warm in the cold winds. He padded into the clearing and sat down on the edge of the area, as he has done nearly every gathering.

Nettletail stalked into Fourtrees, confident. She cast a smug smirk towards Pebblethorn when the deputy wasn't looking. That she-kit should never have been chosen, and she was sure the Dark Forest strong as they were now- would be on her side. She waited with bated for Sedgeclaw. She really liked the tom, and hoped he liked her as well.

Antpaw padded into Fourtrees with his head held high. Although this was his first gathering and he wanted to run around in excitement, he forced himself to keep calm. I wouldn't look very good if the son of a leader was running around like a kit. Giving his black pelt a shake, he looked around, wondering who to talk to. I guess tonight it is okay for me to chat with other clan cats... Although he didn't like the thought of talking to other cats, he might as well be social. Standing next to Pebblethorn, he honestly didn't want to leave her side. "So uh, how do gatherings usually work?" He meowed to the SkyClan deputy.

"We just wait for the leaders to discuss things in their clans. Recently, the gatherings have ended in fear or disputes. The clans haven't been faring well recently." She responded, staring at the sky. What are you planning for this gathering? She shook out her pelt. "Hey, why don't you go talk to the other clan cats when they get here? I have to take my position over there." She said, flicking her tail to the deputy's area as she walked over, dismissing Antpaw.

Silverstone padded in behind Skyclan and looked around. She spotted Antpaw, her brother, talking with Pebblethorn and the warrior rolled her eyes. Swiftly, she brushed past the two. "Hey, little bro," Silverstone purred as she bumped into Pebblethorn's shoulder on the way past them. The silver she-cat then found Jayflight and sat down next to him without looking back at the two.

Antpaw gave a sigh as Pebblethorn started to walk away. But I don't want to talk to anyone else. The tom wanted to cry out, but stayed quiet. Noticing Silverstone come over towards him, he wondered why she bumped into Pebblethorn and sounded different. What's her problem? Not really knowing what to do, Antpaw sat down where he was, looking around the clearing.
