April's Gathering 2016

Horsepaw padded very anxiously into the clearing, struggling to even move her legs as she saw the giant group of cats. She pelted over to the edge of the clearing and almost flattened herself. Hopefully no one will talk to me!!! she thought anxiously.

Maplepaw hurried over to her clan and sat next to Horsepaw

Crowstar looked around at the other leaders. He didn't want to be here longer than needed, besides the ding trees around him made him uncomfortable. He let out a small sigh then shouted out. "Let this gathering begin!" He hoped he said it loud enough to catch everyone's attention. "Skyclan is fairing well in these moons. We have named a few new apprentices, and a new warrior Jayflight." That was all the leader had to say, and so he stepped back for another leader to speak up.

Gentlepaw purred quietly, searching for her friend in the Skyclan cats. She was so proud of Jayflight!

Jayflight smiled as he turned to Gentlenose.

Briarpaw smiled when he heard the Skyclan's leader's words. He felt like his mate would be safe with more cats to protect her But if they ever try and take her...

Robinpaw looked up at her leader, her clan would be feared again. They were growing quickly in numbers.

Lightningpaw listened to Crowstar, looking around for this nrw warrior.

Nettlepaw turned his head from Wildfang to Crowstar and listened to the leaders words

Lilypaw let out a "yes!" under her breath, cheering on her brother-slash-mentor. She sat up proudly and looked over at him.



Scorchpaw flicked his ears and nodded at his friend, winking at him when nobody was looking. His amber eyes flickered back up to Crowstar. He hoped Darkstar would say something to the SkyClan leader, or better even, Fishstar. 



Ferretpaw felt a surge of excitement. Another warrior in the forest? That's great!



Goosepaw purred respectfully in the direction of his allies, quickly cowering back into his spot.

Winterpaw came in just as the SkyClan leader said his words. Just in time she thought.


Dunepaw and Barkpaw listened to the news.Both of them said nothing.

Jayflight felt embarrassed as he heard his sister, he knew everyone was looking at him or looking for him to.

Darkstar eyed the Skyclan leader for a moment. There wasn't any mention of the complete and utter takeover of their territory. She stepped forward to take her turn. "Thunderclan has been doing fair as well. Despite the recent loss of Spottedstar, we are still strong, with many new apprentices." The fluffy she-cat backed away from the edge and stared straight ahead, determined not to fall for any traps Skyclan or Riverclan might set.


Pineeye watched from the ground below and almost snorted. Thunderclan had been kicked out, if that had happened then they were the weakest clan of all.


Fogheart smirked visibly, noticing that Thunderclan's scent was much fainter, they'd lost a good amount of warriors. If there were many apprentices, they didn't seem to spend much time in their clan's territory. Not like she'd've let them cross the border.

Scorchpaw raised his head in a brief moment in pride. They could laugh all they wanted, but he knew that ThunderClan was rising to power once more. He was so frustrated over the cause of their home being destroyed (All this over a couple of rocks down by the river? he had thought as they left their homes for good, driven out by Fishstar and Crowstar) that he would bet on being able to maul every cat in SkyClan and RiverClan single-handedly.


Goosepaw's eyes flickered nervously between the leaders. He could feel the tension reverberate through the three clans involved in ThunderClan's exile. His fur bristled. If they didn't speak up in a friendly way, there was no telling of what would happen.


Ferretpaw was glad ThunderClan had new recruits, but she couldn't help but notice the lethargy and sorrow clouding their warriors' gazes. She smiled at them in an attempt to welcome them, but she figured nobody saw her.


Lilypaw was confused as to why Darkstar hadn't brought up anything about her clan literally being raised in a barn. She rolled her eyes. "This'll sure go well, no doubt," she mumbled under her breath.

When Darkstar finished, Thrushstar stepped up behind her and took his place on the rock, looking down cynically at the cats below him. This was going to be an interesting gathering with the way that his voice has been acting lately. Nonetheless, he chose to speak. If it got worse and started to hurt, he'd bring Leopardfang up to speak for him. With a deep breath, he began. "Shadowclan has been... fairing well. We've had... plenty of prey and many new warriors and... apprentices," he said, annoyance rising in his raspy voice. Somehow, though, despite the hoarse sound and trouble speaking, his voice still resonated through the clearing with ease. "Lately, Shadowclan has had some... trouble with rogues. Two have tried to... cause harm in our camp. Only one is... left and should be watched for." There was more that he wanted to say, primarily about what he saw when he died, even if it were only an observation, but he needed to rest. His voice began giving out, and if he tried to speak anymore, he knew he would lose it entirely. With a low growl, he stepped back for the next leader.

Gentlepaw flicked her tail nervously, sensing silent tension beginning to rise up.
