Plague is the Least of your Worries [BATTLE TOPIC]

OOC: Oh, calm your tits. The only reason we haven't attacked already is because we thought you would have liked for the chance to post yourselves before the battle began, especially after you were guilting me about it on chat. If you recall, the battle plan was just to attack immediately. It looks like you're getting exasperated for something you more or less asked for. But fine, we'll begin the slaughter right now.

EDIT: I'm attacking Cormorant, for the record. Didn't know if I made that clear.


It wasn't before long that the camp appeared.

Reedstar loped forward, and once he was in range, pounced with outstretched paws at the cat standing guard. In a tumble of swipes and growls he dragged her to the ground, wondering if she might have been the one to rip out Hailwhisper's throat. Adrenaline was pumping through his veins and he felt his anger flare as he clamped his jaws down on a black paw. The battle had finally begun... it had only been a few moments waiting out at the border, some couple of days preparing, but it still felt like he'd been waiting years to get his vengeance 'cause lol.

As Reedstar burst into the camp and took down the guard in a flurry of fur and claws, Falconstar brushed past, leading the rest of the war party with Dewstar right into the heart of the beast: ShadowClan camp. Seeing a cat standing there at the entrance, he pounced upon them with claws outstretched. He was able to recognize the form of the deputy Thrushstripe as he tackled the cat to the ground and raked his claws across the younger cat's back, hissing lowly.

Eaglethorn swarmed into camp along with the rest of the cats, his eyes raking across the camp until they came across the sight of an area that had the sounds of restless and yet sleeping cats within it: the warrior's den. Running straight for it, he burst into the den and yowled a battle cry, leaping right in front of a shivering warrior and slicing his claws along his back and sides.

Hearing the first howl, Nightstar leaped to her paws. Her blue eyes betraying no emotion as she picked out Falconstar tearing at her deputy's fur. 'Oh no you don't Falconstar.' A low growl sounded in her throat, her muscles tense as her eyes locked onto the WindClan leader's pelt. Fur rising, she readied her attack.Suddenly she sprinted forward, out of the shadows of her den, then sliding under the leader's unprotected belly, puncturing the soft belly fur. Her years folded back in anger. "All three clans? Really?!" Her voice rose over the cries of battle, as she slid out from under, her back coated in mud. "Do you intend to wipe us out?"

Specklefur saw the toms enter the camp, and take down some of the guards, the thick stench of carrion all over, with a growl the she-cat rounded around the camp, just across the entrance. The she-cat barreled in, finding the distinctive white spotted pelt. "Long time no see, kittypet" Specklefur remarked.

Mistfur let out a cry, bursting into the camp, spotting at what it seemed to be a tortoiseshell tom, unsheathing her claws she lifted her paws up, and rushed them down on the tom.

Whitepaw was surprised as she saw the cats flood in, a sense of joy filling her, seeing her leader, her brother, and her uncle. Whitepaw let out a chirp, though, she had no idea what to do, she couldn't fight well enough, but, she had no clue what Shadowclan would do, would they use her to get the upper paw? If so, she was going to have to prevent that. In high hopes Whitepaw broke into a run, aiming to get through the entrance.

The tom let out a huff of air as he felt a paw slam into his sides. Yowling started to fill his ears as he opened his eyes only to see cats from all three clans fill the camp. Soulfang let out a snarl as he watched them attack. His bright blue eyes watching them until he noticed a warrior with a familiar voice call him a kittypet. The warrior's gaze fell on Specklefur. The tom growled. I don't have time for this. Quickly, he turned over and slid under Specklefur with ease before swiping his claws at her underbelly. The tom stood up and turned around with his claws unsheathed.

Soulfang used Half-Turn Belly Rake on Specklefur, dealing 19 points of damage and using up 20 points of stamina.

Thunderstep jumped into the camp letting out her battle cry. There was no chance Shadowclan was going to get away or even win. She watched her clanmates and other cats start battling, it really was edgy to be in a battle. She was still a young warrior and had a slight chance at making out of this battle and succeeding. The she-cat shook off her worries as she watched a tom run into what looked like the warriors den. Quickly she bounded after him knowing he might need help with all the warriors that would be soon awaking in there. The Thunderclan warrior finally arrived in the den to see a few warriors. One of them caught her eye. It was the one that was defending the white and black cat who was threatening others at the gathering. Well, here goes nothing. Thunderstep leaped forward and landed beside the tom before she used her back leg to forcefully slam her back paw into his side.

Thunderstep used Back Kick on Redshade, dealing 18 points of damage and using up 15 points of stamina.

Hawkpaw flattened his ears as he watched the warriors fight. He was afraid of the Shadowclan cats, they looked vicious. The apprentice bounded over to the warriors den and saw all the slumbering cats. Even the ones who were currently being attacked were getting hit. He noticed a warrior from a different clan attacking one of them. With that the apprentice swiped his claws across the warrior before pulling back.

Hawkpaw used Front Paw Strike on Daisynose, dealing 14 points of damage and using up 10 points of stamina.

Leechkit squealed as the warriors burst into the camp, before spinning around and bolting into the nursery, tail fluffed out and ears back. "Mom!" She shrieked, unsure of what was happening.

Heathernose snarled as he ran into the camp, coat bristling and claws out. Quickly focusing on a ginger and white she-cat, he ran at full speed and barreled directly into her, causing both of them to crash to the ground. Heathernose quickly got up and pulled back, bracing for a retaliation.

Heathernose used Run-and-Tackle on Mapleheart. Mapleheart was not focused on him, +5 damage

Ic: Redshade snarled as claws slammed into his side, scrambling to his feet. He glared at Thunderstep, claws sliding out without hesitation. "That was a rude wake-up call. You'll regret it, flea-brain." He snarled, leaping at her and biting down hard on the thin, upper part of her scruff, where it hurt a lot. He lifted her slightly so she had a hard time hitting him and slashed at her side.

Redshade used Teeth Grip on Thunderstep, dealing 16 points of damage and using 20 points of stamina.
Thunderstep can only use Front Paw moves for 3 turns. She takes damage every turn this move is in effect.

Ic: Stormheart rushed into battle, letting out a ferocious snarl as she rammed through the warriors' den and into Scorchclaw, then reared up to slash wildly at him. Her claws caught fur and sent it flying over and over, her throat letting out a seemingly endless growl. The silver tabby was blinded by anger and, at the moment, only wanted them all run out and her sister's killer dead by her claws. The black Shadowclan tom better have a plan in mind.

Addertail narrowed his eyes as he burst into camp with Sunface. He looked around for Soulfang and Redshade, looking towards the warriors' den just in time to see three other warriors run in there. He flexed his claws and ran inside, not surprised that it was crowded with cats. Not seeing the two targets he was after right away, he leaped at the nearest cat: Cloudbillow. He reared up on his hind legs for leverage and slammed heavy paws repeatedly onto the enemy's face.

Wolfkit yelped as he heard chaos suddenly erupt outside, causing him to spring awake. He looked around wildly, spotting his sister, Leechkit, and running over to stand close to her, eyes wide. He was as terrified as any other newborn kit would be in the situation. What was going on?

and under any other normal circumstance, i would agree that both sides should be able to post readily, invasion or not; however, through a few discussions and metaphorical watch checking, it came clear quickly in the past week that everyone who cared to post had posted and that should've been enough. Nobody wants to sit through another four pages of running, I assume, just so everyone on both sides gets a turn. (Which I've been poking on about for days now in the box)

The warriors den had only but a few more moments to be peaceful before the first warrior busted in, attacking the first warrior he saw, which was unfortunately Daisynose. The tom let out a sudden screech of pain when he had awoken with the sharp tear of claws in his side. He yowled and saw the anger on their faces as they snarled at him, but he couldn't hear a single thing, only notice the overwhelming stench of enemies within the den - nay the camp. WindClan, ThunderClan, RiverClan - they were all here. "Brother, what are you doing?!" He gasped, before a second cat had attacked him, one smaller. It all happened so fast, he couldn't be sure of what he was doing exactly.
The large fluffy tom kicked the older warrior away, grabbing a hold onto the smaller cat and quickly tearing his hind claws into his belly before kicking him away, jumping back up unto his feet and letting out a harsh growl, near choking on his cough again. He couldn't afford to let his sickness take over at this point, though it still left him standing unsteady and shaking in the crowded den.

Daisynose used 'Belly Rake' on Hawkpaw, Dealing 20 damage and costing 10 stamina.

It was the sound of yowls and sudden chaos that had awoken Sagewhisker from his sleep, his eyes widening in a heartbeat. 'The clan - ... Its being attacked?!' He thought, a sudden cold fear shooting through his entire body. Without a second thought and a sudden fire of anger, the tom shot up out of his nest, a growl in the back of his throat. The tabby took in a deep, shaky breathe, pushing himself out of the den and glancing around for a few heartbeats - seeing cats of every clan in the clearing, everyone of ShadowClan's cats being overwhelmed - the worst sounds coming from the warriors den. 'StarClan, this can't be happening...' They couldn't be cornered in that den...
Though he was weak, he still found the strength to run the fox-lengths distance and push his way into the den, the first cat he saw attacking a familiar, gray shape. "No!" He roared, spinning around in the small space and kicking the stranger away from Cloudbillow, before grabbing the cat with his claws and trying to drag him further away - out of the warriors den, if he could.

Mistflower had slipped out of the warriors den the moment Daisynose had gotten attacked, her eyes wide in fear, she'd easily been able to flee - running away from the den. The moment she had seen the madness outside, she almost immediately felt the urge to the flee, but she wouldn't. She wanted to scream, beg them to stop, but she couldn't. Her eyes darted frantically around the camp, "Thrushstripe!?" she called out, unable to find him in the sudden mass of bodies. Then it suddenly hit her. The nursery.
The she-cat took off at once for the small den, seeing two kits - Snowfall's kits - wondering around, lost and confused. Where was Snowfall? "What are you doing, little ones?" Mistflower gasped, shaking her head in disbelief. No cat would touch these kits, not if she could help it, she'd fight with tooth and claw to protect them. The tabby cat quickly picked up Leechkit by the scruff, then Wolfkit, carrying them into the nursery and putting them down next to Amberkit. "You'll be safe in here." She told them, silently praying to StarClan, turning around and staring the entrance down.

Dewstar crashed through the camp walls, immediately spotting Falconstar be slashed open by Nightstar. The large leader bounded a few steps forward and then leapt with strong legs, bowling Nightstar over with sheer force. She snarled angrily in the other she-cat's face, her fangs bared and her blue eyes blazing hot. "This is for the warriors whose lives ShadowClan has taken!"

ic: Upon seeing the massive herd of cats, the guard on duty darted into the camp entrance. She was halfway through when a heavy weight bowled her over, sending her and (what smelled like) a RiverClan cat tumbling into ShadowClan camp. She let our a shriek as the cat bit into a paw, and her back legs began to flail violently in an attempt to escape from her attack.

ic: Firepaw spotted a calico apprentice fleeing for the exit. She had no idea who the cat was, but she was certain the cat was of ShadowClan; I mean, look at that unkempt fur and scrawny body. "Hold it right there, ShadowClan scum!" She shouted before her teeth clamped down hard on the calico's tail.

Inside the nursery, Heavykit was curled into a think, gray ball somewhere in the back. He wasn't sleeping, of course. You'd have to be deaf or dead not to be able to sleep through the racket going on outside. And not to mention the awful smell of four clans joined together.

Leechkit's quivering meow brought Heavykit to open his weary eyes and look at her. The poor thing... Bet she wished she was the sick one here. That way she wouldn't have to bother with fear because feeling this awful would make anyone stop giving two tail flicks about anything. The dusty-gray tom let out a long sigh. Might as well do something to help, right? So he somehow managed to lift his aching body and drag himself over to Leechkit. He flopped down beside her. "Don't be so afraid, Leechkit. They wouldn't dare try to hurt kits. Plus, our warriors are still strong; we'll make it." Not likely. But let's not tell her that, okay?

Suddenly Thrushstripe's head shot up. First there was the smell. The horrible smell that he had never experienced before. It was a mixture of smells... fish was the strongest, followed by the trees and then the moor. Then there was the sound. The sound of a stampede of cats hurdling towards the camp that just grew louder and more frantic in the deputy's ears before a flash appeared before him and tackled him to the ground, ripping at his fur until the battle suddenly erupted. Within seconds, all he could hear was his own blood pumping rapidly in his ears in the heat of battle as he saw his clan mate Cormorantpelt be attacked by Reedstar before the weight of his own attacker was abruptly taken off by Nightstar who was then attacked by Dewstar. What in Starclan was going on here?! Without a second thought, though, Thrushstripe got to his feet and took a second to glance around the camp while he could. There were so many cats flooding into the camp. He had never seen anything like this before. Almost instantly he knew what the odds were. They were not making it out of this. Not in their condition. These clans were low, acting during Shadowclan's weakest time. When they first got to the previous gathering, the deputy felt almost like dirt trying to spread the disease that ravaged Shadowclan, but now that had changed. He wanted all of them to die from the wretched plague. To spread it to them in whatever way he knew how. He knew they were going to have to flee the second he saw the amount of cats, and he was just waiting for Nightstar to say something. But for now, he was going to help his leader who had two leaders on top of her. Turning his attention towards Dewstar, he leaped at her with all of his might, a loud yowl escaping his throat.

As soon as she heard the chaos, Gingerheart was on her feet and running out into the camp, attacking the first enemy she saw. Fury bubbled deep inside of her and when she was finally able to distinguish who was attacking, she couldn't believe that all three clans were fighting against them. In some ways, she thought of it as Shadowclan just being that big of a deal, but then again, it was terrible. Trying to ignore the terrible aching in her lungs and her muscles, the senior warrior launched herself at none other than Reedstar. She saw him leap onto and slash at Cormorantpelt, and that just wasn't going to fly (no pun intended), especially since that was one of the newest warriors.

Mapleheart stared in horror as cats flooded into her camp, but was tackled while looking someplace else. Getting herself back up, she gave a glare of death to the little munchkin cat that went for her. Bringing herself up to fur height, her body towering over the little cat. Growling lowly, she stood up even further, probably terrifying the little weakling. Slashing her paws wildly at his face, neck, and shoulders, her claws brought massive damage. "You picked on the wrong cat you flea" she hissed, looking straight at the newly wounded cat, looking at her every move.

Spottedfeather bounded into Shadowclan camp right after Dewstar, looking around for her best choice of 'prey'. She saw the she-cat who once tried to stop her brother, Redshade, and then Soulfang. A little Windclan cat tackled her, and she noticed a cat further from them. Running toward Thrushstripe whom was attacking her leader. Passing Heathernose, she 'accidentally' brushed past her making her probably already dizzy head, throw his even more off. She went under the Shadowclan deputy, and raked his belly violently, before scrambling back up, and backing next to her leader.

Spottedfeather used Half-turn belly rake on Thrushstripe, dealing 24 damage and using 20 stamina.

Stormclaw immediately looked around for the one he was aiming for, Soulfang. Spotting the cat already being attacked, he ran toward him too, not caring if someone was already ripping his fur. He would get a piece of it too. He ran and tackled the weakened cat, slamming him far away. "You stupid flea-bag. You deserve to die, worst that Hailwhisper did." he growled at his down opponent.

Silvercloud followed her Clan into camp, letting out a loud hiss as her instinct to attack pulsed through her. Upon seeing a WindClan warrior and ShadowClan warrior attack, and quickly charged up to deal a hard blow to the ShadowClan cats' head before keeping a low growl coming from her throat, using her sheathed claws to attack the ShadowClan fleabag who was very sick.
