A Bone to Pick [BATTLE TOPIC]

OoC: This is the official battle topic between WindClan (and a contingency of ThunderClan) versus BoneClan and, if they decide to appear, SpiritClan. This will be done using the battle system, and if you have a cat in both (or all three? four?) clans, you must fight with all of them or none of them. We will post first, then the rogues, then the battle shall commence.

Falconstar stood on the outskirts of Twolegplace, lashing his tail at the acrid scents emanating from the area. This, however, was long overdue. His clan had gotten more trouble than it was worth from rogues wandering onto WindClan territory and deliberately ignoring the boundaries. Not to mention their scents all over dead apprentices. It had gone on too long. Today, they would understand what happened when you messed with clan cats. "I want this done clean and efficiently," he mewed calmly to the gathered cats, masking his anger over the whole situation. "Only kill if necessary…" That got an unhappy hiss from Eaglethorn. "… and make sure every single one of them is run out. They will leave this place with their tails between their legs!"

Spottedstar padded up next to Falconstar, giving a nod. It was time to attack the trespassers that had stolen their prey and wandered their boundaries. She only brought a few of her warriors, but enough to drive the rouges out. Upon hearing the Windclan leaders sentence she spoke to her clan. "If they go  for your throat, you go for theirs."

Echostrike gave a hiss and crouched on the ground, waiting for the battle. It would be her first battle, and she was going to rip some fur.

OOC: Didn't see any sign ups for this, so I'm assuming it's open? If not, I can always edit.

IC: Emberleaf settled in the shadows, nervous for the war. He had chosen to come and help out in any way possible. What could a medicine cat do in a battle, he wondered? Well, he could try to fight the weaker cats and heal his clan mates as they retreat...or, if they retreat.

Frozenflame crouched behind his leader as the warrior prepared for battle. The grey and ginger tom swooshed his tail behind him, narrowing his amber eyes which resembled his father's. "Yes, Spottedstar," he purred with a rumble in his throat.

OOC: You can stay but I pm'd a few so the numbers would stay low. Anyone else, if I didn't pm you (Thunderclan) then don't join yet. I don't want too much butt kicking.

Breezefeather had stayed close to Falconstar the entire time. She wanted to stay caught up on the entire situation, and for the world wouldn't miss her chance to give the rogues a piece of her mind. She herself was tired of the entire thing, and her own apprentice, Tinypaw, had been taken by them. She was here to avenge the young she-cat. Looking towards her leader and his son, her tail twitched. "I've scouted the area around here." She mewed, her amber gaze taking looks towards what was going on around them. "They prefer to hide in boxes, and the large shiny bins. If you smell one, they're probably nearby." Breezefeather's comments were finished, and she took a step back before crouching and awaiting further directions from her leader. That was all she cared about at this point, she was ready to strike.

Duskfall followed behind his leader, staying a step behind her as he looked over at the gathered cats of both clans. He was uncertain about being involved in such a conflict, after all, these rogues had only visited their clan once. And they didn't look like much of a threat, their leader, Flames, looked more like a soft kittypet than a warrior to be feared. But with his knowledge of these rogues ending at that, he deferred to the two leaders, trusting they knew what they were doing.

"These rogues have no code of honour, I wouldn't be surprised if most of them fled at the sight of us. Perhaps we'll be lucky." The deputy spoke optimistically, trying to break this tense atmosphere that was building as they stalked deeper into unfamiliar territory.

"Calm, Emberleaf. Let the warriors handle the fighting." Gorsefeather brushed past his apprentice, nudging him reassuringly before stalking up to his leader. He was here not to fight, but to simply drop off supplies and watch. He could see Emberleaf tense like he was expected he'd fight all the rogues alone. An amusing thought, but that wasn't their place. He would staunch wounds, prevent infections, and chase off anyone who got too close to his patients.

"Falconstar, Spottedstar. There is no word from StarClan, but I have no doubt this is their will. May StarClan guide all of us to victory." The medicine cat spoke quietly to the leaders before taking his place in the rear. Without warrior training, he had no intention of leading upfront.

Ooc Ok so I'm a just clarify that Spirit doesn't really even have a full clan yet so I'm have her show up anyways I suppose but sort of stay to the background for the meantime if that is alright.

Ears perked up at unfamiliar - and familiar - meows. The herb-gatherer peeked through the bushes in which he was hiding in, gasping at the terrible sight that he'd witnessed.

Two, angry Clans sitting there in front of him. His heart was exploding, though he hadn't met any of them.

Goldenflame sat there next to his leader, Spottedstar, and nodded hesitantly. "Are... we going to have to kill them?" The worried tom asked slowly, though he didn't remember much of their act. After all, he was just a kit when they barged into the camp. He was too young to remember, but a battle? That seemed kind of outrageous.

Sablefur found her place behind Falconstar, eyeing the shadows ahead. It was eerily silent on their end, sending an uneasy feeling down the deputy's spine. However, she held herself highly and bravely. These were the cats that killed one of WindClan's innocent apprentices. Hopefully, this would teach them a lesson. She'd met these cats before on a patrol. They seemed harmless enough, but they carried themselves with a high demeanor. These rogues definitely wouldn't back down without a fight. She was quiet as her leader spoke. She could sense a hint of irritation in his voice. But what cat wouldn't be enraged by the murder of innocent cats?

The area was dark and damp, and the shadows seemed to stretch on for many fox-lengths. Not to mention the humid musk of rotting things and dirt. She hoped she would get used to the smell, bunching her whiskers with disgust. What cat would live in a place like this? No wonder they're such hostile cats, the brown she-cat thought, squinting into the darkness ahead.

As much as the little apprentice loved her clan, she did not love the idea of attacking another clan so early into her apprenticeship. Daisypaw was a warmhearted she-cat with no thoughts of harming others. She had heard the stories of BoneClan and how they ruthlessly murdered apprentices from the moorland. The white and ginger apprentice understood the justification WindClan deserved, but driving them out seemed too extreme for her tastes. Keeping close to Eaglethorn, her tail lashed around anxiously and her paws kneaded the ground. She flinched at her mentor's hiss. Unlike most warriors, he was ruthless and without mercy. She was proud to have a strong mentor, but his aggressive attitude was a complete contrast to her compassionate doings. "So we don't have to kill... right?" she mewed quietly to the brown tom.

Icestorm, Cedarfur, and Smokepelt stood in silence with their clan. What ever happened, they would stick together, and live. In all honesty, none of them really knew the reason behind this fight but knew they should protect the clan.

Ooc-uh do our cats have to die/i guess have the possibility of dieing?? Cause I want them to live...might take this post off....idek XD but really wanted to be in a battle topic...

Blizzard sat beside Eagle, furious.

The white warrior drew near to his daughter, Daisypaw. She was such a gentle soul. Lightfoot knew she wouldn't want to hurt any cat, even an enemy such as these. He was worried about her. He knew his old mentor, Eaglethorn, might not be a perfect fit for Daisypaw, but perhaps he would make her stronger or maybe braver. Yes, Eaglethorn would look after the young she-cat; that's what Lightfoot was hoping for. He cats his blue eyes around at the gathered force. His former apprentice seemed to have been left at camp, and a sigh of relief escaped him. He didn't want any of his family or his former apprentice in harm's way. It was just his protective nature. He caught sight of Sablefur and Falconstar near the ThunderClan leader and deputy, and felt a sense of pride. They were just the cats strong enough to end this threat.

Robinflight's tail whipped back and forth in anticipation as she stood next to Echostrike. "Let's show them what real Clan cats can do." She meowed fiercely to her sister, dragging her claws against the ground that was like solid rock. There was a sort of excitement building, which was both exciting and somewhat concerning.
