Plague is the Least of your Worries [BATTLE TOPIC]

Looking to Falconstar, Snoweye gave a nod in understanding at why the clans were doing this, but... While it was alright not to kill kits, what of elders and queens? And many of them were sick. This was an unfair fight, and though, in a few ways they deserved it, it could simply be a rescue mission. The only cat they lost was Whitepaw, and ShadowClan surely wasn't that monstrous to have killed off an apprentice in cold-blood. Unless a body was found with claw marks on it, the snow she-cat had to believe they were innocent on WindClan's part. Though, two murders in the other clans... And killing off the warriors. Were they truly going to just obliterate a clan that has existed with them for so long? There was SkyClan who had been one of the originals, yet, they left. Looking up to the sky, seeing no signs of disapproval from StarClan, it made the half-blind deputy doubt this battle. It was wrong, unfair, and while just, they were attacking sick cats and murdering without mercy. That'd make them just as bad as the warriors who assaulted, correct? However, it would be best not to speak of this as she saw what Reedstar lectured to a medicine cat apprentice about, and it wouldn't be the greatest if her leader and former mentor did the same to her. "Let us do just and bring ShadowClan's evil reign away from us once and for all!" Her voice echoed to the WindClan warriors and apprentices, not showing the same timid nature that she had from before her ceremony. She had to be confident, or else, all would fail.

Lavenderheart, listening to Falconstar and then hearing Eaglethorn and Snoweye's calls, looked towards the ShadowClan territory that they were about to go through and ambush straight in the heart. Her only goal was rescuing her kit at this point - no more family shall be lost. It was a battle that meant almost everything to her. As long as she didn't need to sink her fangs in, and instead use her claws to rip her way through to her daughter, that was all that mattered. SkyClan may not be able to last, but their will at least be the chance of distant roots in them. Family was everything, and it meant that nobody got left behind or forgotten.

Ravenwing, seeing that one tom, meeting him a bit for just a heartbeat within their eyes travelling and gazing for that moment, noticing that he turned away to listen the directions of the leaders. It made her realize how hostile, cold, and menacing he could be. Recalling back to the time they were at the barn and that she-cat, Hailwhisper was there injured, that was it. Many RiverClan cats were her allies and close friends. That was their reason to fight. She was most likely innocent yet, none of these emotions made sense to her. None, nein, nada. Why risk something like this? Why just let her rest in peace without having to watch her friends and family die and join her so soon? Why?

Heathernose scraped his claws against the frozen dirt, fur fluffed out and teeth bared. He never would have thought that ShadowClan would go so far. "An apprentice kidnapped, and a warrior murdered!" He snarled. His eyes were lit up with fury, which was very unlike him. The calm, reserved cat Heathernose usually was had disappeared, replaced with a cat seeking revenge for ShadowClan's deeds.

Stormblaze was getting impatient. He couldn't wait for the attack.

Firepaw flicked her ear and listened intently to the speakers.

Nightpaw swirled her tail slowly. Her eyes still representing a fiery look.

Blackpaw (Thunderclan) didn't want to fight, but she might have to. She pawed at the floor, hoping for a change in heart at the last moment. She still wanted to fight, but felt that this battle was unfair.

OOC: Wow late

IC: Ploverheart was standing next to his apprentice, Blackpaw, his long tail swishing.
"Blaha-hackpaw, are you o-okay?"
He mewed warmly, touching his nose to the tip of her ear.

Lilypaw was mixed in among the RiverClan cats, her white fur slicked close to her somewhat-small frame in the rain.

Snakestrike's already dark colored fur turned almost entirely black as it soaked through with the rain. He tried to fluff it up, his ears laid back. He growled slightly, his tail lashing. He was ready to kill for his Clan, if he had to.

"Huh?" she turned around to see her mentor Ploverheart. "Oh, uh yeah. I was just thinking about the battle.Do you think that they should all get killed?" she asked. She was starting to have second thought about the fight. She knew they deserved it, but they had a huge disadvantage.

ooc: Huehuehue. No one judge me, I've been super busy with band lately Dx

IC: Littlelight stood behind Reedstar in the crowds of cats. The deputy, of course, couldn't see anything in front of him really, him being little and all. But still, he kept the serious look on his face, trying not to show fear.

Tigertooth was sitting quietly by a bush, distantly staring at his paws. Since when did it come to this, exactly? He knew ShadowClan was mean and all, but he never expected this.

Ivyfur sat with the other WindClan cats, looking around for Nightpaw (Rose's Char, just so no one gets confused) with a saddened look on her face. Honestly, she didn't care if anyone saw them together, she just wanted to be with the medicine cat she fell in love with before a horrible battle started.

Bristlefur stood not far away from Snoweye. He had mixed fillings attacking ShadowClan, wasn't StarClan already punishing them by giving them the plague? He looked forward, wanting to get things over with. The marsh was not the place for him, it seemed like there was always water under his paws. Bristlefur shivered, fluffing up his pelt in a vein attempt to warm himself.

A small calico crouched at the back of ThunderClan's attack force, she glanced around nervously. She'd rather be at camp, but instead, Dewstar had made her part of the attack force. The shy warrior, of course went, because the leader's word was the law. Splotchfur didn't have much of an opinion with ShadowClan. Perhaps they should see it from ShadowClan's point of view, but then again, there wasn't much of a perspective to see.

Foxpaw cuffed his brother over the ear. "Adderpaw, you worry too much," he snorted. "Duh, it's three clans against one. Duh, we're gonna prevail." He tried not to let the other WindClan apprentice how scared he was.

Hailpaw ran over to Phoenixflare. "Hi, Phoenixflare!" he told his sister. "You ready? ShadowClan doesn't stand a chance."

Firepaw was her usual happy-go-lucky self even though she was about head into her first real fight. She felt no need to be all worried about dying or getting seriously injured because of her strong belief that StarClan has it all planned out and what ever happens will happen. Firepaw also had no opinion in the matter. She was just here because of Dewstar's need for all healthy apprentices and warriors to participate in this "historic event".

She looked up at Sunface. "I'm hungry."

Standing guard at the entrance to ShadowClan camp was Cormorantpelt, jet-black pelt blending in perfectly with the shadows cast by the leaves surrounding her post. Without the sun sharing it's warmth  with the shady Clan no one felt like getting up to start the day; it was only her who had decided to take over for the previous cat. Although a few were still up, that didn't necisarriily mean they were doing anything important. Just blinking and sitting, really. Well... Those who weren't dead were.

Just a few minutes in it had started to rain, then snow, and now it was a mixture of the two. "I should have stayed in bed..."
For some reason the air seemed tense... It was probably nothing, but it was still irritatingly uncomfortable.

OOC: Okay this confused for a sec I was on the first page not knowin' about the others. thought SC attacked.

IC: Goldfang stood behind the others nervous. he did not want to join starclan so soon but he was willing to die for his and the other clans safety. Goldfang stood proud his claws unsheathed ready to face death in the eyes and tear them out the thoughts of battle drove him into a instinctive state more receptive to his surroundings he could hear his other clanmates/allies hearts pump and smell their scents even in the snow and rain. Smell was something he had a knack for as he had sensitive nose. He was ready for battle.

OOC: Alright, this has taken too long to get started. Sorry everyone. xD We just wanted to make sure everybody got the chance to get in on the attack. Here's the plan: TC/RC/WC will start charging towards camp (AND NOT ENTERING OR EVEN SEEING CAMP JUST YET SORRY WE'LL BATTLE EVENTUALLY I PROMISE). ShadowClan is allowed to post now, whether just resting or guarding over camp or chilling. They're not allowed to scent the invasion force. Does that make sense? If you're in one of the invading Clans, just follow my lead, and if you're in ShadowClan, you can post in camp. Got it? Good!

IC: Reedstar walked to the front of the invasion force, his fur bristling, and turned to face them. The three Clans together were a heartening sight; WindClan, ThunderClan, and RiverClan warriors all standing side by side, all united under a common cause. If only it could always be like this. Wars would soon erupt between them after ShadowClan was defeated, he suspected. That was just the nature of the Clans. "We've waited long enough!" he shouted. "The rat nest they call a camp is straight ahead. We charge and break through the camp wall and give ShadowClan what has been deserved for a long time." The issue of hostages would be dealt with later. Now was the time for vengeance.

A cold wind blew over the marsh, stirring life into the springy grass that sprouted from the mud. Reedstar hardly felt it. Blood was roaring in his ears. "Attack!"

As soon as Reedstar gave the word, Stormheart was off, close to the front of the crowd as they began their charge. She narrowed her eyes, claws sliding out and pushing into the grass to give her more speed. She couldn't wait to do this...To avenge Hailwhisper, to give Shadowclan what they deserved. They had been a nuisance to the clans all too long, but her main goal was to tear those two warriors to bits: Soulfang and Redshade. So what if Addertail had been accused at the gathering? Right now, Reedstar was partnered with Dewstar and Falconstar in this battle, so she wouldn't hurt him as long as he stayed away from her. The two Shadowclan cats on the other hand, were as good as dead. She let out a snarl of rage. Are you watching us, Hailwhisper? Riverclan is taking part in this battle for you. We will avenge you!

Addertail nodded without needing to look at Sunface to agree with her. "If we don't get to them first, there's plenty of cats here who want to rip them limb from limb. I regret not killing one of them when I had the chance..!" He growled lowly, sliding out his claws. As soon as the Riverclan leader yowled for them to begin, Addertail leaped to his paws and watched for Dewstar's signal. As soon as she gave it(whenever she does, I'm just getting this post out of the way), he was off, keeping pace with his mate. Though the odds were mercilessly in the other three clans' favor, you never know what could happen with a bunch of murderers running around. He wasn't going to get in her way--he knew very well not to do that--but if any cat tries to kill her, they'll have to kill him first.

Redshade yawned and rolled over in his sleep, almost rolling on Soulfang but pausing before he could even touch his sworn-brother.

When Reedstar gave the order to charge, Falconstar yowled to his own clan and begin the quickened march towards the belly of the beast, to the heart of ShadowClan itself. This was it: this was the time to teach ShadowClan a lesson for all the suffering they had wrought upon the clans.

With the issues of charge ordered, Eaglethorn followed after his leader, claws unsheathed and ready to tear into those disgusting pelts. The only thing that could keep him from using his sharp teeth as well was the notion of sickness that was plaguing ShadowClan; no matter how bloodthirsty he was, it would do no good to get ill from this battle.

Daisynose was curled up in his nest, shivering in his nest as if he were cold, although his thick pelt and fever did well to protect him from any cold that would happen to wander into the warriors den. There was also, of course, nothing to protect him from the sharp hunger pains that stabbed his stomach.
But he was thankful at least that he would manage to finally get some shut eye. The coughs and moans of the other warriors resting had little to no effect on him, a long-overdue perk of being deaf, he supposed; though there was no mistaking the gagging stench of sickness in the air, or the small shifts in the moss every time someone moved.

Mistflower was on the other side of the warriors den. She'd been drifting in and out of sleep all day, her mind too clouded with thoughts to get a fully well-day's rest. She wondered about the WindClan apprentice - Whitepaw was her name, she thought, and how the small she-cat was doing. She considered getting up and checking on her, but she'd done it so many times before, there was probably little change from the last time, if any. The tabby would probably just be a bother. There were other things seriously bugging her still. Those two "brotherly" toms she saw opposite of her, who seemed way too comfortable in their dreams, and Nightstar - the leader she had been losing faith in by each day, and her old mentor Gingerheart, who the sickness was taking away slowly.
What kept reappearing in her mind more than anything was glimpses of Thrushstripe. She wondered what he was doing, knowing now very well how little he could sleep these past few moons, which meant he had to be doing something else right now.  The she-cat sighed, a cold, fluttering feeling in her heart. How would she tell him? It was something she herself was quite elated about, but she couldn't help but think he would be all to happy in the same way... Mistflower glanced down, her swollen belly looking rather odd compared to the rest of her starved frame. Well, she couldn't exactly keep it a secret much longer, could she?

Sagewhisker was asleep in his den, sprawled out in the warm middle, thankful that the apprentices had managed to scrap together enough dry moss for him to sleep on. In the midst of all this misfortune, something as simple as a comfortable bed seeming like a blessing from their ancestors. His breathing was shallow, and every now and then he'd break into a coughing fit and wake himself up, only to fall back asleep again. He was feeling weaker and weaker with each passing day and he could've sworn, much to his delight and disdain, that Froststar had been visiting him in his dreams - in which of course he wasn't trapped in this frail, sickly body, but was young and strong again. It was nice, being able to see his beloved again, but the dreams were always blurry and he didn't remember much when he awoke. What he did know was that he was always enticed to stay with her, to follow her to some place better, where his family and friends would be waiting.
It seemed nice in his sleep, though the moment he awoke, he found himself absolutely terrified. He couldn't leave the clan just yet, could he?
The tom frowned and squirmed in his sleep.
