Plague is the Least of your Worries [BATTLE TOPIC]

Whitepaw scarcely looked over the camp it has been a while since her abduction, and since then she felt like her hopes of being rescued had been dwindling from her very encouraging words, she had hardly slept and eaten, only eating well the stomach pains were too painful to bare, and despite her long fur, her bad condition was obvious.

At the words Specklefur pounded forwards, a sneer evident on her usually stoic face, oh she was just liking this more and more.

Whinchatwing was hesitant at first, but when her leader had shouted the words Whinchatwing ran forwards, that was for her clan, this was for all the cats who died at their claws, this was for that Windclan apprentice who could be dead by now!

Longtail gave a small trot before charging on wards, he was going to save his little niece! His father's daughter! And if Patcheye was alive, she would've most likely kill him for his niece's capture, and most likely her death.

Mistfur ran along side Longtail, and held herself back towards Deernose, a long time kit-hood friend, she didn't want to fight against Shadowclan, what would she do if she saw Eagleclaw, and to fight against him?

Thunderstep was right behind her clan. Her paws could feel the mushy ground as her paws were stepping through it. Her head shook as she thought of how anyone could even live in such conditions. Her fur stood up in anxiousness as this was her first battle and she was afraid it could possibly be her last if she wasn't careful.

Hawkpaw was flattening his ears, he did not want to fight at all but his leader need them too. He heard stories about Shadowclan, how they act. He even saw them at the gathering. Those two warriors he'd have to avoid if he wanted to keep his pelt. The thought of them fighting in battle made his stomach knot. This is not going to be good...

Soulfang groaned as he felt a pelt almost touch his. The tom looked up from his spot to see it was Redshade rolling around in his some what looking dream state. Soulfang grunted as he stood up and padded out of the den, immediately his eyes hurt from the shining of a light peering into his bright blue eyes. He let out a slight hiss in annoyance as he walked over to a corner of the camp near the entrance. His tail flicked as the tom started to lick his paw and drag it across the fur above his head in an attempt to clean himself. The smell of sickness still clung to his pelt and thanks to Gingerheart he had to deal with it. He knew there was a high chance of him getting it from his clan mates being around him so much but she is the one who decided to quarrel with him the other day. Soulfang brushed off the thought as he laid down and closed his eyes while purring lightly in an attempt to rest, it was a really peaceful night so far.

Beewhisker surged forward with the rest of his clan, keeping an eye on Heronpaw as he went. "Yowl if you get cornered," the warrior mewed. Heronpaw nodded, keeping focused on the moving cats around him.

Flamegaze flicked his ears at Reedstar's orders. The Riverclan leader wasn't responsible for him, so he waited until Dewstar initiated her own order.

Spottedflight stood next to Dewstar and her Deputy as the RiverClan warriors moved into action. Thank StarClan she thought, turning her gaze to Dewstar, waiting for the slightest signal to move.

Goldfang was dashing after his clan ready for battle. Today is a good day to die he thought.

Blackpaw followed her clan into the battle, mainly following close behind Goldfang. It was hard to keep up with them. She had hoped that Ploverheart would be fine. Maybe I should stay close to her? She knew Ploverheart could handle himself, maybe she just wanted to be safe. She looked around frantically for her mentor. When she couldn't find him, she just decided to stick with Goldfang. If she needed help, she would just call for Goldfang.

Upon hearing the other leaders' signal Dewstar lashed her tail to spur her own warriors on. She raced beside Reedstar and Falconstar, her heavy paws sinking into the marsh and snow. It probably looked really heroic: three leaders running epically side by side with uncountable warriors streaming behind them letting out war cries and such. She didn't quite know where the camp was so she fell back a few pawsteps to let Reedstar lead the way.

Sunface went silent, not responding to any of her kits or her mate. She was breathing hard, like she had just run through ThunderClan territory and farther. Her claws slid in and out in anticipation. She was watching Dewstar intently, and when she saw her tail lash, she began charging almost right in step with Addertail. Her gaze was focused forward and her mind went blank. She'd fought before, yes, but never in a major battle. Never in a war. War. It's weird to think it- but we're in a war. Cats could die. Probably not ThunderClan or WindClan or RiverClan cats, but we could be on a murdering spree...

Swiftnose watched the three Clans charge. They ran past where he sat, parting from each other to go around him and then meeting when they'd gotten around. Even a few very large, very powerful cats jumped over him from time to time. He pulled his leaf-wrapped bundle of herbs closer to him so that no stupid apprentice would step on them and ruin his rather meager collection. I had batter not lose sight of them. Swiftnose thought as he watched the tails of the group, picking up his herbs in his mouth, glancing at Nightfire, and then trotting after them. He studied the ground that was carved by uncountable footprints. Even if I do lose them, I'll be able to track them down. He thought with a sly smile; that small comment to himself had amused him, and he didn't even know why.

Spottedfeather burst forward with her leader as soon as the signal was given, her fast movement quickly bringing her to the front, though as she watched Dewstar give a glance at Reedstar and step back, she backed up with her, knowing there was probably reason behind it, but it was also respectful. Pouding her way through Shadowclan territory, she could hear the multiple cat steps behind her as they tromped through the clans territory. Time to rip some tail.

Stormclaw was running along side Stormheart the whole while, feeling the same drive as her to get to the camp and rip the dirty fleabags pelts off. How dare they home a traitor and murderer, especially one who killed Hailwhisper, one of the two sisters he adored the most. Well, now they were going to pay, and by his claws. This clan was going to pay.

Hawkflight flung herself forward, the excitement of the battle almost too much for her to now speed ahead of the leaders. Her first battle, and it was a huge one! Other than her excitement for battle, she knew the dirty clan had to pay, and quite harshly...

Nightfire watched as larger cats jumped over Swiftnose, but none over him. If they tried, they would fail and just fall, since he was so large himself. He must be bigger than all the cats here, except maybe Dewstar, he hadn't compared size to her yet. As his mentor picked up the herbs, he followed suite and took the rest into his jaws, slowly padding further into Shadowclan territory.

Mapleheart shuffled outside in camp, watching Soulfang wander about. She certainly didn't like him, but had to deal in the least because he was still in the clan. But if much more happened, he would be for much longer. She stared past the entrance of camp, wondering if she should leave and just wander about, but, she didn't even feel like doing that. Lately, she had been feeling quite depressed.

Nightstar lay awake in her den, her nest offering no warmth from the cold night that nipped at her nose. She sighed quietly and flicked her fluffy tail over her nose. Not only was more then half of the clan sick, but the tensions with other clans were heavy too. Most of all because a few warriors of hers have no regard for the Warrior Code. Just because they are a part of ShadowClan, doesn't mean they are an exception to the code. She didn't know which warriors caused this, but when she did find out, there will be no mercy. Her icy blue eyes narrowed. Her warriors believed they could act before asking her, such as kidnapping an apprentice of WindClan.

Other leaders would say; 'Control your warriors!' Yeah. She would. If they would listen. It was only a few warriors, again. But a few bad apples ruin it for the bunch.

Tawnywing ran behind Spottedfeather and Dewstar, going almost full speed. Anticipation coursed through her body.

Bramblepaw ran behind his calico friend, hoping this fight would prove his loyalty to Thunderclan.

Moonpaw sat awake in the far corner of the apprentice den, staring at nothing. She coughed and then winced, hoping she didn't wake anyone up.

After dismissal, the medicine cat had hung around WindClan's group, still rather upset about the topic. Sorrelpaw watched them charge, and had kept his bundle close. His broad figure was still short for his age, but the pride he wore for being the chosen as Lichencloud's apprentice continuously shone in his amber eyes.

Silvercloud charged with her clan-mates, her ears laid backwards in fear. She would definitely not use her teeth in battle, with hearing about the disease ShadowClan was bearing. Her gaze cast up to the sky while running before resting ahead. Bless us, StarClan.

Stormblaze charged with the rest of the group. His paws thundering against the ground.

Firepaw pelted along the side of Riverclan. Her golden fur glinting against the dulling sun.

Nightpaw huffed and continued to dart after windclan. Her long legs accessing her more speed.

OOC: Dang, I'm gone for three and a half days, and only this has happened? Were you guys waiting on meeee?? ;w; /shot

Mousetail was totally there the whole time. She didn't really listen to what any of the warriors had to say. She hated how Shadowclan had been dealing with things; how reckless they were with everything they had done. Anger boiled inside of her because of it. Two warriors and a kidnapped apprentice? Seriously? But as she looked around as everyone ran in for an attack, she couldn't help but feel slight pity. Three clans against one. A sick one at that. And no mercy? She didn't like that one bit. This was overkill, but she wasn't going to open her trap for a second. She didn't want to have to face the wrath of any of the three leaders, especially since Reedstar bat an eye at the thought of tossing one of his own in with Shadowclan. She reluctantly followed in the back of the massive crowd of cats, running in silence as she kept an eye out for the camp she had never seen before. She hadn't even stepped into Shadowclan territory before today, and now she was here with a huge group to slaughter everyone. Oh Starclan...

This was awful. Thrushstripe had been sitting at the camp's entrance for hours thinking about what had been happening this moon. His brain almost hurt so bad he couldn't see straight with all of the things that had been going on, especially with Soulfang and Gingerheart. The tension between them, and the tension that it put the entire clan into shortly after the sickness broke. He was worried, and now he couldn't get a blink of sleep. He simply pretended while it felt like bees buzzed in his head. What was he doing wrong? Why couldn't he just keep his clan out of trouble? First the disease, then the fighting in their own clan... what was next? With a low grumble in his throat, he finally stood up and looked at the gray sky. Oh great. Although he couldn't really tell, it barely seemed like it was past sunhigh. He still had a long day to get through before dusk duties could even start. But he already had the day planned out. He knew who was supposed to go where and he even had it scheduled out when they should arrive back at camp. It was laid out in his head like a map, and if the slightest thing went wrong, he was going to make sure it was fixed. But something felt off. He couldn't help but feel like something was missing. He had already checked over all of the duties, and he made sure that the elders were taken care of today... He even made sure that Mistflower was okay. Of course, that was just standard procedure. Checking on the warriors was always a good thing to do, especially when so many were sick. With a small shake of his head to clear things, he continued to look out into the territory and just wait for the sun to go down.

Unfortunately, Gingerheart barely slept either. Every time she would close her eyes, they'd fly open again while she seemed to cough her lungs out. She hated being sick and was fighting it with everything she had, but unfortunately, it wasn't working too well. She was still trying to recover from those close-to-death wounds Soulfang had given her, and with the disease on top of that, it was hard, and every day she could feel her body weakening. But she wasn't going to give up. She still had a lot to live for. But for now, all she could think about was the sleep she wasn't getting while her nose ran, her eyes crusted over when she finally did sleep, and the coughing fits she continuously had at random moments in the day...

Heathernose shot forward at his leaders signal, taking quick, bouncing strides, much like that of a rabbit. He was easily able to keep up to the other cats when running in this fashion.

The white tom sprang forward, running close to the ground with his ears flat against his head. Those cats were going to pay for the seasons of cruelty to the other clans, and all that was going to be piled into tonight. His claws were extended, giving him a better grip in the swampy territory.

Deernose leaped to a fast pace, long legs taking huge strides. He didn't go his fastest, however, as the marsh was unfamiliar to him, the sky blocked by the soaring mossy pines. Every heartbeat, his confidence grew; until he wasn't even sure why he had been nervous before. The scent of disease came at him like a wall, but he still ran onwards.

The large grey she-cat's paws slapped against the sticky mud, soaking her fur. As they drew closer to camp, she swore she could feel the illness in the air. Growling under her breath, she knew it would be very dangerous to groom her fur after the battle, as contaminated blood would probaly get accidentally swallowed in the process of cleaning. Plague was inevitable.

The ginger dashed on his orders, excitement widening the pupils in his grey eyes to the extreme. Of course, Foxpaw wasn't happy to see death and destruction, only to see how strong he really was. Now he wasn't that smart, but he knew the odds of this battle were very advantageous- for the offending clans.

ooc;; All these stupid "heroically marching into battle posts" are going fill four more pages and reach the next gathering time-wise before anyone even touches the camp.
For the love of God, would someone do us all a favor and attack already? It's not that hard people.

you should be able to hear their war cries and fail-running-through-bog.
at least /someone/ would be making the first move then.
