So I've had a long think about my place in the community and came to a sort of revelation, so listen up.

Basically, I realised that WCC isn't life and death to me anymore. Which is good, probably healthier for my mental state, but also probably the reason for my disconnect with many people on this site. A lot of you are a hella lot younger than me, and to you, WCC is everything. It's your social life, your release, and everything in-between. I'm happy that this is that sort of place for you, and that's what I wanted for this site as admin. But...

After much discussion, MCs have been given ranks and requirements to move up these levels.

This information can be found on clan's ceremony pages on How to be an MC. Furthermore the new stats and abilities can be found in the Healing System now has it's own page.

To assist with the transition, all MCs will begin with the rank, Newly-Named Medicine Cat. Topics from before today will not counts to MCs requirements.

MCs are expected to keep track of their requirements and have them visible for the public in either a signature or in a character profile.

Thanks to a great suggestion from Jade, Staff have decided to change up how we run things. Please make sure to read the following changes carefully as they will apply to all characters from now on.

1. Apprentice Ceremonies are now the duty of the clan's deputy. This means you'll need to PM deputies regarding your ceremonies once you have met requirements.
   
2. Moonstone trips are now the duty of MCs and full name MCAs. In the case that your MCA does not have a full name yet, they can handle moonstone trips temporarily. Please PM your MC/MCA...

Ayo peeps,

So after many requests, we've increased the amount of elder slots we have on WCC to two! However, they are only accessible to Senior Warriors from now on. The usual no kits or patrols rules applies as they are elders. But, we've also added a new slot called Queen slots. These are slots for permanent queens who have retired fully from warriorhood. They, unlike elders, will be allowed to have kits, though they are never allowed to become a warrior again. Similar to elder slots, only senior warriors may use them.

There is an update to the hunting system that being that Disabled Warriors now have a hunting penalty.

Yes so now instead of just being effected battle stat wise it effects the hunting system now too. This penalty is that you have minus two (-2) to your chances of catching something.

So if you have something that is a 1-8 chance of catching something  the chance is now 1-6 chance of catching it make it so 7-9 are misses instead of just 9.

Disabled includes blind, deaf, missing body part, damaged damaged body part, etc. to name a few.

Hello everyone! Us as a staff took notice of a certain topic asking for a new addition to the training requirements to become a warrior, and seeing how enough of you wanted it we decided to implement it.

Hello Pikalings,

I come to you with a new rule from Mount Sinai. From now on, no one is allowed to hold more than one Special Ranks position at any given time. Yes, this means leaders/deputies can't also be MC/MCA.

Hopefully this will give more people opportunities. However, to be fair to current RPers, they will not be affected by the rule for now. Should Fish/Ash/Ripped kill off either of their Special Ranked cats, they will only be allowed to have one like everyone else.

So it has come to our attention that there has been a spike in double accounts lately with two separate cases happening in just the past two weeks alone. If you have read the rules (everyone should have before they even joined, or at least right after), you will know that this is clearly breaking the rules. We still aren't quite sure why people create these double accounts as we figure that having 5 cats is plenty, but for some people, obviously 5 cats just isn't enough.

So after much discussion from Staff, we've decided to be rid of Missing Cats Revivals. This is as we feel it's become a way for people to put aside characters to make new ones and come back to them later. Therefore, all cats that are missing are now officially dead. There are  no missing cats on WCC.
