So it has come to our attention that there has been a spike in double accounts lately with two separate cases happening in just the past two weeks alone. If you have read the rules (everyone should have before they even joined, or at least right after), you will know that this is clearly breaking the rules. We still aren't quite sure why people create these double accounts as we figure that having 5 cats is plenty, but for some people, obviously 5 cats just isn't enough.

So staff is cracking down on double accounts. We will be specifically looking out for them from here on out since it seems that people think that they can get away with breaking the rules.

Punishments for being caught:

If you are caught with a double account, you will immediately be temporarily banned and your second account will be deleted. This means that all cats on the second account also no longer exist. The ban can last anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks depending on how long the account has been around and how much it has been used. All decisions on this ban are final and will not be lifted until the allotted time has passed.

HOWEVER

If you currently have a double account and want to fess up to it to any staff member via PM or Skype, your punishment will be less severe. You will still get temporarily banned (effective immediately) and your second account will get deleted, but the ban will be anywhere from 3 days to 1 week long depending on how long the account has been around and how much it was used. All decisions on this ban are final and will not be lifted until the allotted time has passed.

So please, follow the rules guys. They aren't that difficult and we're pretty lenient with a lot of things. This one, however, we cannot budge on. We want everyone to have fun on WCC but it gets hard to do that when people are trying to find loopholes in everything. So cut it out my dudes.
