Lately, there has been a lot of clashing involving traditionalism and the extents to which it branches on this site. There have been issues regarding it, so Sleepy and I talked about some sort of compromise. No, we are not trashing non-traditionalism. Rather, we are going to draw a line as to how far one can go in creating a cat on this website.

As of now, a cat is unable to be named anything that a wild cat could not interact with.

I had thought that this was covered explicitly in Site Accounts, but I guess not. It should go without saying that collaborative characters are inherently a bad idea and problematic. Just don't.

Alright, a solution to all of our problems. Hopefully.

Deputies may create apprentice, warrior, and elder ceremonies. They may also escort MCAs to Highstones for both MCA and MC ceremonies. They may not name apprentices for the leader.

That should cut down the delay on a lot of ceremonies! The only reason that a deputy can't give an apprentice to a leader is for basic respect reasons, obviously. It is unfair to people to have their ceremonies delayed for too long, and I thought distributing the burden could fix a lot of these problems. Now you (hopefully)...

The two/three ongoing battles at the moment (RC/SC VS TC battles need to stop soon, like seriously) stopped any of the leaders from posting in the Gathering last month. This wouldn't really be a big deal, but I'm going to make an offer like I did when the Deomilites plot was happening.

If you needed to go to a Gathering to finish your warrior training, you may count that requirement as done. If you'd still like to go to your first Gathering as an apprentice, you don't have to. Alright?

Hello, WCC! Sleepy and I have discussed a change to the whole multiple life rule. The change is as follows:

No longer will all four multiple lives be available after 6 months. Rather, you will get access to a new life each 2 months. This ensures that characters will be more thoroughly roleplayed and cared for, makes sure you don't accidentally overwhelm yourself by putting 4 cats through training, and lastly, it makes sure that clans do not get overwhelmed by a multitude of cats when they really do not have the warriors and such to train them. 3 month intervals make it possible for clans...

ShadowClan had Carrionplace, so I thought the other Clans might benefit from an extra area.

I know that ThunderClan has Sunningrocks and ShadowClan and WindClan have slices of SkyClan territory, but I felt that these places were too hotly contested and too easily taken away to really count, so I added some more permanent areas.

Of course, RiverClan gets the short end of the stick with no real permanent extra...

The tide of new characters has slowed down considerably, and while Shad did an absolutely sexy job with Site Cats, some things still need to be updated and organized.

The rules have been updated to make the site a lot less restrictive. I still firmly believe in the rules we had before, but we've come to realize that they just aren't the best for a site like WCC. I will provide a list of changes here, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you go through and reread Roleplaying Rules.

All active members with approved characters, it is paramount that you post here. With SkyClan gone and multiple lives in place, we're in need of updating both the groups and Site Cats. They haven't been really updated properly since the beginning of April, so I really want to get back into the habit of updating it regularly.

The last proposal to get rid of SkyClan was only defeated by a single vote, and since then lots of people have asked me for a re-vote because of recent events, which have made them regret voting in their favor. Shortly after being saved, most of SkyClan died.

So here is the second SkyClan referendum. The poll is set to end in three days. If you change your mind after voting, you can cancel your vote and cast it again.

Long ago on March 2nd, after a sudden explosion, the holy Mistpelt was formed in her goodness. Lately, people have been extremely rude to each other. Some people think the site should be closed for a bit, but I don't really think that's the way to go. It's unfair to any new people who might join and it'll harm the Clans.

Basically, if you're intentionally provoking somebody or being mean without any kind of justification, you'll be banned from chat. Possibly banned from the site. I was going to make this big dramatic topic for nominees WCC Top Idols style, but I'm super exhausted right now and would prefer it if my typo littered post would seem like one where minimal effort was put into it. There will not be a January Gathering until further notice. If you're an apprentice and you're fretting since this is the second one missed in a row, don't worry! I know what it's like to be a lower rank for a long time. Sleepystar was a kit for eight months, and it took me a month just to get approved. Smokepaw had a really inactive mentor. Reedheart right now took a terribly long time to become a warrior. And yeah, it does suck. There's not much to do as an apprentice without breaking the warrior code or just doing your border patrol topic again.

But I also know what it's like to be a mentor and I know how it's like for the leader, which sucks a whole lot more.
