Staff would like to announce that effective immediately, we will no longer be using anonymous forms for surveys on WCC.Anonymous Surveys were started as a means for honest feedback to be provided to Staff, and while a good portion of our userbase has used it as intended, there has been a trend of misuse. Surveys have been used to harass Staff and HRs, or Anon Comments to speak poorly of others without consequences. All of these violate our code of conduct, which is why we are hopeful the changes below will help to improve our community standards and uphold the rules to promote a healthy site culture.
This is not to prevent needed feedback or ignore the voices of our userbase, but instead to promote healthier channels of communication and feedback systems across the site. These new systems are explained in each section.
COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONSFor suggesting any changes to the systems or site mechanics, please use the 'Comments and Suggestions' board using the updated form. We ask this be used specifically for thoughts on systems and site mechanics and suggestions for changes/adjustments. It is not to be used to talk about any site members, or characters you dislike.
Comments and Suggestions Submission FormINCIDENT REPORTSTo report any instances of rule breaking, we ask that you submit an Incident Report. As a note, all submissions require either an image attachment or link, and a reference to which rule has been violated. Your name is required on this form but will never be shared with anyone outside of staff.
Submit an Incident ReportCONFLICT RESOLUTION GUIDE
If you are having issues with another user, please first contact the other user directly to discuss any miscommunications. Following our new Conflict Resolution Guide going forward, Staff asks that users try to resolve any issues privately before involving the Staff Team. If a private conversation would not be productive or is unsuccessful, a supervised discussion will happen with two Staff Members present. If there is no resolution, an evaluation will happen to ensure there are no code of conduct rules being broken as a result of the conflict. People might not get along, but kindness and respect is a standard in our code of conduct and should be used even in times of conflict.
Read the Conflict Resolution GuideIn case of an incident that requires immediate attention, contact a member of Staff directly. As a reminder, we understand that emergencies arise, and are still here to help! Members can reach out to someone on the staff team either through an on-site PM or by reaching out to them over Discord.
As always, if you have any questions about these changes, feel free to reach out to anyone on the Staff Team.
