Staff would like to announce that effective immediately, we will no longer be using anonymous forms for surveys on WCC.

Anonymous Surveys were started as a means for honest feedback to be provided to Staff, and while a good portion of our userbase has used it as intended, there has been a trend of misuse. Surveys have been used to harass Staff and HRs, or Anon Comments to speak poorly of others without consequences. All of these violate our code of conduct, which is why we are hopeful the changes below will help to improve our community standards and uphold the rules...

Staff has gotten together and added a new rule to Rolelplaying Rules!

Basically the gist of it is that All cats hoping to move/join a clan must ask the leader of that clan for permission before joining, regardless of age. Even if a warrior hopes to adopt a Rogue/Loner/Kittypet kit, they must have the permission of a Clan leader. Whether this is RPed or dealt with through PMs is up to you.

I have been noticing it a lot lately. People have been deeming their cats as warriors and apprentices before the ceremony is over or barely even begun. Guys you cannot do this. If your ceremony isn't complete yet then you are still the previous rank. So if my Thistlekit was in the middle of a ceremony I can't have her go do apprentice stuff because her ceremony isn't complete she isnt an apprentice yet. I cannot use her as Thistlepaw in any topic until that ceremony is over. If you are using them as their new rank before the ceremony is over its a conflict of time and creates a paradox. Which is...

I've unlocked Stony Hollow as an RP-able area for ThunderClan. Clan rules will state that apprentices and kits are not allowed to approach or enter the Stony Hollow, but it's not against RP rules for apprentices and kits to sneak in ;)

It's assumed that most cats know about what happened in that hollow log.

Also, ThunderClan Territory, ThunderClan Camp, and Snake Rocks descriptions have been updated. ThunderClan officially own their territory due to the Dark Forest plot.

So based on some recent chats with a few members, it's becoming apparent that OOC-only posting is getting common again in RP. Pika made an announcement about this same thing a while ago, but it's high time for a reminder. In case you forgot/weren't aware, it's actually against the rules to make OOC-only posts in RP threads. By this, I mean replying to an RP topic with only:

'OOC: [insert out of character words here]'

If you have something to say about a topic, then include your out-of-character conversation WITH your in-character conversation, or simply PM the person you are...

I was looking through things, and looked at the Deceased List and noticed that it is really in need for an update so I'm gonna try and do it myself.  If you don't know what the list is, it's Here and basically shows who all has died, what they died from, where they go when they die, and what topic they died in.

I'm asking you to check through this list for any of your cats, and if they are there, great, if not then we have a small issue. If your dead cat is not there then fill out this,

Yes, we do listen to requests that are made. Forbidden Romances will be limited and monitored by Staff again. However, to ensure everyone gets a fair go, we're making the request process public. You fill out a form found in this subsection, post it, and staff will decline or approve. More information can be found there. Also mandatory dice rolls for romances have been introduced. Staff, should they approve of your request, will roll the dice to see whether your romance is fated to secrecy or revelation. This is all on trial for now, we'll see at the end of this month whether we keep this new system....

So I know that there are little bold reminders in the territory descriptions to remind you, but thought it would be a good idea to make a proper announcements about this, just in case some people haven't quite registered everything that has happened yet, and because it's a pretty significant territory change.

So since RiverClan and SkyClan beat ThunderClan in the battle, all of ThunderClan's territory now belongs to them. This means that TC cats shouldn't be posting in ThunderClan Territory, ThunderClan Camp, or Snakerocks unless they want to risk fighting off SkC/RC patrols. Now, this...
