Tigerstar followed after his clanmates, the tall striped tom looking forward to the relaxing hunt they were having today. It wasn't a strict and structured patrol like normal, this time it was something different. Cats were free to come and go as they pleased. They didn't have to stay the whole time he was out here. They could hunt or they could keep their leader company. Whatever they chose. For now, he was going to hunt, to help him relax and unwind for the time being.

It was nice to be out on patrol, and with the clan leader, no less. Cloudjumper was a new warrior with a chip on her shoulder and something to prove, as if her speedy training hadn't been enough, nor Tigerstar directly mentioning her dedication during her warrior ceremony. The clan needed to be fed, so she'd happily joined the hunting patrol Tigerstar led.
Spotting a hare that seemed nearly as big as she was, the short-furred calico made her way toward it. Certain that the wind wasn't going to decide to shift, and that she was in no danger of being spotted if the creature didn't decide to turn at just the right - wrong - moment, Cloudjumper exploded forward with a burst of speed. She leapt, claws snagging at the hare's pelt, and quickly caught her prey by the throat. A powerful kick sent the air wheezing from her chest, but she'd been successful... Even if she had to lay there a minute to catch her breath. Still, it had been a victory.

It had been a while since Leopardwind spent any time with his father, and though he was slightly vexed by the presence of their other clanmates joining the patrol, he was grateful for the chance nonetheless. Besides, he didn't mind Cloudjumper's presence as much. She had shown dedication and loyalty to WindClan much as he did, allowing her to become a warrior just a few days after he did. He had wanted to speak with her, did he not? Well, he also wanted to speak with Father... why did he have to make this choice? The black tom flicked his tail crossly, before reminding himself that the real reason he was here was to hunt for the Clan. He could interact with his clanmates after he had caught something to feed them.
It wasn't long before he spotted a rabbit not far off, and was quick to break away from the rest of the patrol to persue his catch. Which proved to instantly be a mistake as a large, imposing shadow suddenly fell over him. Had it been waiting for him to leave the group to attack? No matter, he was a capable warrior, and though he was upset at having to abandon the rabbit, he could at least rid this land of one beast. His patrolmates weren't that far off either, so surely one of them would come to assist him soon. Leopardwind used Bite, dealing 10dmg at the cost of 5EP Surprise Attack is in action, dealing an additional 3dmg

Creampaw certainly did not enjoy going on patrols, but the prospect of being on patrol with the leader was enough to tempt her. Maybe, if she caught enough on this patrol, Tigerstar would finally realize how amazing of a warrior she would make and instantly give her her warrior name! Then she'd show Viperpaw just who was better; her, or that arrogant furball who thinks she's all that but isn't!
With an spring in her step, the cream-and-white she-cat was quick to track down a rabbit and race after it as quickly as she could. She wasn't going to let this chance slip by her! With a shove, the apprentice crashed into her prey, tussling with the giant creature for several heartbeats before pinning it down and killing it swiftly. There! Had Tigerstar been watching? He had better be; she didn't think she could pull it off a second time.
