| Trufflesnap trotted next to her new leader, Mottlestar. It was relaxing being away from the oppressive grip Birdstar had on her previous life. Now, she lived like a normal warrior and got to live with Beetleshade at the same time! It had been... Somewhat... easy to bury the anger that her sister gave her in her belly. For now at least, everything was peaceful. Other warriors were with them too, but she wasn't too sure of their names yet. "ThunderClan isn't much different than SkyClan, in regards to the trees and such." She offered in a friendly tone, attempting to get a conversation flowing. ______________________________________ Astra inclinant... .: Coyotegrin :: Kestrelchirp :: Quailprowler : Singedfox :. #9966ff : #cc3300 : #6699ff : #993366 : Bold WC T5 Warrior : WC T3 Warrior : TC T2 Warrior : SC T1 Warrior (Perma-NPC) "When there's nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire." |

Mottlestar “May the stars light our paths.”
For as problematic as Birdstar had seemed to describe the molly that followed just a half-step behind her, in all honesty, Trufflesnap had seemed more than elated to adjust to the Thunderclan way of life. Mottlestar sometimes wondered if it had been a joke passed her way, but the look that had passed on the Skyclan leader's face was certainly one that told her enough of the truth to cease her doubts from continuing. If all it had taken for Trufflesnap to be so joyful was transitioning to a clan where kin weren't at the helm, perhaps the tortoiseshell would have opened her home much sooner. After all, Skyclan and Thunderclan held good relations in recent times, and that was something that she was keen on not having uprooted.
As her new clanmate would make conversation, Mottlestar's first inclination was to give a solid nod and a smile. "The main difference between Skyclan and Thunderclan is we stick much more towards the ground, as if we are the roots of the trees. Though yes, I do agree, we are extremely close in our natures." Even if the small tortoiseshell seemed to be the odd one out, the other key difference between their clans was definitely the sheer size of the cats. The leader knew she was an outlier on that spectrum, always standing as one of the smallest cats in the forest, but that didn't make her any less mighty. After all, she wouldn't have lasted long as leader if they truly cared about how tall one stood. If she could stand with pride next to Birdstar, well, Mottlestar figured she was just fine.
"We don't often teach our warriors to climb trees, but perhaps that is something you could start teaching us? We have so many - it'd be useful. Perhaps help us catch a few more of those pesky birds that like to talk way, way too early before sunrise." Mottlestar found it easy to converse with just about any cat in the forest, and it seemed Trufflesnap was no different. The tortoiseshell's distaste of the early-morning birds had her slightly scrunching her nose, as if to shake a vile taste from her maw. That wasn't so much the case as it was the fact that she got little sleep as it was, and those darned birds didn't make it any easier.
