Sootstorm brought up the rear of the patrol, tail twitching as he watched his clanmates attempt to hunt. Sleepyhollow and Marigoldpaw were not cats he often spoke with, though he was in no way on bad terms with them. If it were any other day, he'd be eager to get to know the two of them better, but... he was tired, and he was content with just watching. He wondered what the two of them thought about him, especially since he seemed to have slowed down a little lately, but he quickly pushed that thought away with a wave of guilt.

With Sleepyhollow near the front, she glanced back at her patrolmates, Sootstorm and Marigoldpaw. It had been moons since she had had a real conversation with Sootstorm, but the tom had always been kind and thoughtful - even as a kit. Especially now. His hard work for their clan certainly didn't go unnoticed, at least to her.
Scenting the air, the warrior quickly found a rabbit amongst the heather up to their right. Sleepyhollow made quick work of the plump rabbit, hunting was simply second nature at this point. Hopefully it would make a good meal for a warrior or two.
Sleepyhollow is trying for a rabbit..success!
