Intruder Alert [Windclan Sitewide Finale]

Batsong felt alot better as more and more of her clanmates joined the fight.  Mudshriek took a bit of a blow from the dog but it luckily didnt appear to be too bad, she would of course take care of it in a mintue but for now it luckily looked like the tables were turning as the dogs were both getting overwhealmed and swarmed by the numbers.

She claws at dog 1 and deals some nice damage



Eaglepaw felt a surge of confidence as his siblings all joined in, with Krestlepaw acting as a last line of defence for vulturepaw it freed him sparrowpaw to continue their attacks as well. He stayed light on his paws never overcommiting and opting for quick strikes before doding away letting the warriors deal the heavier damage as he took on a supporting role.  Whisper took a hit and he screamed a bit worried for his older sibling.  He snapped at the dogs leg hoping to drive off the attack.

Jaypaw was relieved that is claws were bale to make contact with the dog, and even more so that the dog didn't immediately turn on him. As soon as he'd swiped at it, though, he turned away to mutter something to Kestrelpaw, only to hear yowls rip through the air as the dog turned on Whisperear. Before he could move, the dog had already let go of their leg, but not without shedding the ground with blood. Jaypaw didn't have time to think about it, he figured. Whisperear would be fine. Trying his best to accurately target his attacks, he lashed out again, furiously (and messily) swiping at the dog.

Owlshade bristled and whipped around to see his sister fighting. What an absolute mousebrain... he'd be sure to tell her as much, later... but for now they had a threat to neutralize.

Owlshade used Front Paw Strike + Swift Strike on  Dog #2 for a total of 12 damage at the cost of 17 stamina.

Sparrowpaw's eyes widened as Whisperear narrowly avoided another wound, jaws snapping shut audibly. Checking the other battle to ensure her brothers were still unharmed, she began to circle once again. When the dog wasn't looking, she darted forward, sinking her fangs into its leg. She was small, and there were plenty of warriors to do more direct attacks. She was content to play support, to eventually bring the dog off balance. It would just take a bit of time. As she began to retreat, the dog moved closer, and Sparrowpaw was able to lash out at its side before completely backing off, drawing more blood. Just how long would it take this thing to die?

Sparrowpaw used Snap and Desperate Blows, dealing 6 + 4 (10) damage and using 7 + 7 (14) stamina!

Eaglepaw visibly shook from nerves as Whisperear barely avoided a nasty hit from the dog but the expereinced warrior turned things around giving the dog a smack instead.

Eaglepaw was so glad to have such experiance and power on his side. It made him feel a little less scared but not by alot.


He saw the dog weakening and went for a snap on its tail and from the sound of it, the dog was having enough of this. He hoped to stars it would run away.

Batsong screamed as the dog but into adders leg. She was so scared that it would break just like brackens had she was relived when he managed to wiggle free and deliver a nice counter to dog.

For good measure she followed it up as well making sure the dog would run

Brackenwing sank her fangs into the dog's pelt again, drawing blood. Owlshade and Whisperear weren't happy she was fighting, nor would Batsong be, but she couldn't not help defend the only home Windclan had.

Her leg seemed to have other ideas, collapsing beneath her. Brackenwing let out a low growl of irritation, grimacing as she forced herself to her paws and away from the dog. Much as she wanted to fight alongside her clanmates, she would be far too slow to be effective like this. All she could do now was watch, and Brackenwing despised every second of it. The beast's attention was far too focused on Whisperear for her liking, and her heart leapt into her throat, fur bristling as the dog's heavy jaws came down on Whisperear, leaving bloody wounds where they met their pale fur. Whisperear screeched louder than Brackenwing had ever heard from them, and it made her stomach lurch to see them wounded. For how they'd told her not to fight, Whisperear was even more stubborn than Brackenwing. All Brackenwing could do was watch as the dog narrowly missed grabbing them a second time, her tail lashing in helpless frustration. As quickly as the dogs were wounded by her clanmates, she knew just how quickly a well-placed bite could change the tide of battle, and Brackenwing worried. It seemed like the dogs were more likely to flee, but she found herself restlessly watching Whisperear, Owlshade and Batsong, worry churning her stomach.

As the last of the dogs were defeated and ran away batsong drew in shaky breaths watching them run out of camp for good. She looked around frantically seeing many wounded clanmates.  She got to work right away hoping she would be able to do enough to save each and every one of them. She had slowly been learning that it was okay not to feel that everything rested on her shoulders thought and it was okay to ask for help when she needed it. The isolationist usually liked to work alone and have plenty of alone time as welll but right now the whole of the clan would need to pull together after such a massive attack and with so many gone to fourtrees as well.


From the quick look over things, whisperear was the most hurt with Adderdawn and Mudshriek also having injuries.

She went to Whisperears side their pale pelt stained red with blood and bits of fur all clumped up from the blood soaking in more and more as the wounds leaked.

Batsong was used to sights such as these and she wasn't sure if she was just used to them or so numbed by all the events that had happened but she for once didn't feel panicked.  She was focused and got to work quickly putting pressure against the wounds and chewing together a poultice to put on as well to prevent infection and ease the pain somewhat although with the limited supply this late into winter, the wounds would still sting much more than she would have liked.

"you w-were very brave m-my warrior" she purred softly as she continued to work on whispers wounds.

"a-adderdawn, Mudshriek, y-you two are next d-dont wander off!" she called for them.

"T-the rest of y-you help your clanmates and b-bring any others that are h-hurt to me or Birch as well" she ordered.  (timeline wise I have no idea if it is birchpaw or birchgaze)



She glanced over to Brackenwing who was of course watching intently on Whisperear, something she had noticed a bit and was very glad that they got along well.

She wasn't actually that upset suprisingly that Bracken had chosen to join the fight, in some ways she understood it.  Brackenwing was trained as a warrior just as herself.  She understood not wanting to be sidelined and not wanting to watch helplessly as your clan fought to protect themselves.

She gave her sister a little mischievous innocent grin she often had.  One that silently said,

'oh you should not have fought... but i dont blame you for doing so'  after an additional wink of it being their little secret she beckoned her sister over with her tail.

Once Bracken got there, she pointed with her tail to whispers wound, "s-see the deep gash?" she asked as she kept her paw over it with pressure.

"I n-n..need you to uh keep your p-paws right were mine are and put l-lots of pressure or t-they will bleed out" she explained calmly as if she was telling bracken about an afternoon stroll she had in the moorlands...

She was kinda proud of herself for not losing it and managing to keep her cool so well.

"I g-gotta get more c-cobwebs so h-hold there till I g-get back k? You will do g-great"

After but a few moments of fighting, the dogs realized that they had met their match. Turning their backs to the Windclanners, they ran out of the camp, heading in the direction of Fourtrees.


Both dogs have been KO'd! Both have fled Windclan camp!

Kestrelpaw sighed in relief as the dogs fled, and every one of his siblings made it out okay. Easing up, he glanced around. Batsong immediately went to work. Peeking his head into the den he was guarding, he let Vulturepaw know that the dogs were gone and he'd be back promptly.

With that task done, he rejoined his siblings and gave each of his siblings a lick on the forehead with a purr. "You guys did so great. Mom and dad would be proud of all three of you." His eyes shown with love for Jaypaw, Sparrowpaw, and Eaglepaw. "It's too bad you three all can't be leaders. We'd be the most unstoppable clan in the whole forest!" All four of them couldn't be leaders, or even all deputies. But Kestrelpaw vowed if he did ever become leader, he would make sure one of his siblings were by his side. They didn't even have to follow this vow- he'd be happy for them either way.
