"Ouch, you're feisty." Sparkfrost chuckled as claws raked his pelt once more. Admittedly, their brawl had started off poorly. Starclan didn't call for much fighting - these brutes were far more practiced. He began to recover and shook his coat out, jumping backwards to stare her down and planted his paws, "Come on then! Show me something good. I didn't come all the way down here for nothing."
Sparkfrost is no longer stunned.

"As you wish my dear dance partner." Sorrelfern told her opponent. She would give this fight her all, and once she was done here then she would move on to assist the other dark forest cats. They certainly needed her help. She lunged forward snapping her fangs into the tom.
Sorrelfern used snap dealing 10 (+2) damage, -7 SP
Her use of teeth made him lunge with his own in retaliation. Sparkfrost's teeth embedded into her scruff and he shook violently. Maybe if he could daze her for a moment, he could get the upper paw. Muttering through the sour taste of fur, he meowed, "If you wanted to dance, you should have picked a more graceful partner." The shimmering tom's whiskers twitched as he pulled away to prepare for another strike. Dull eyes glistened with interest as he watched Sorrelfern.
Sparkfrost used Scruff Shake, dealing 10 (+2) damage and using 20 stamina. Sorrelfern is stunned for 2 turns.
Sparkfrost HP: 42/80 SP: 143/170
Sorrelfern HP: 73/100 SP: 136/180

Vixenstar chuckled, attempting to brush off any attacks from her opponents. ”No promises, dear. If I do lay a claw on her, you won’t be here to see it. You may count on that.” The ragged she-cat replied with a wink, before snapping at her foreleg and tearing away as wildly as she could, attempting to inflict as much pain and damage before Perchfall recovered.
Vixenstar used Snap, dealing -12 Health Points and using -12 Stamina Points.
Poppyshine already didn’t like Vixenstar, but these constant taunts were grating against her ears. She didn’t offer any other retorts, instead allowing Vixenstar and Perchfall to banter. Poppyshine remembered a move that she’d seen a couple other warriors learning. She herself had never attempted it, but she knew that it would be quite painful if she could succeed, so she decided to take a chance. Poppyshine dove forward, trying to get under Vixenstar and get at her soft belly.
Thankfully, it seemed that Perchfall held Vixenstar's attention, as it allowed Poppyshine to achieve what she needed. She threw Vixenstar to the ground and raked her back claws against her belly. She bounded off of her, breathing heavily from the effort, but she was glad to have gotten in a good hit while Perchfall recovered.
Poppyshine used Belly Rake! It was successful! Dealt 15 damage and cost 25 SP.
Well, there was no point in questioning the 'how' when they really needed to focus on the 'now'. The thick-furred tom stood at attention, gaze serious as he scanned the battlefield after trying to shake the thick black ichor from his paws with a grimace. Already some of his clanmates had fallen to their enemies, but others were starting to join the fight, dashing in anger or loyalty blazing in their gazes as the phantoms leered at their attempts.
Frowning, he huffed. "Troublesome..."
The tom then looked to his mentor, "While I'd much prefer talking to you rather then fighting undead corpses I assume time is limited. So, teach, you lead, I'll follow." He gave a lopsided smile despite the rather gruesome scene around them. Unsureness lingered in his gaze, he knew there were a few more Dark Forest Cats liekly lingering in the shadows, biding their time, waiting to strike when everyone was weakened. It'd be best to take them out, but the benifits of helping his clanmates finish offtheir opponenets were also high... so, he'd leave out his logic in turn for his mentor's experience in the situation, seeing as how the former wasn't reavealing much direction for him.
Perchfall had begun to tune out Vixenstar's words, focusing fully on regaining control of her senses. Blood still trickled slowly down her face from her torn ear. The dizziness started to clear, but she needed to figure out where she could strike. She'd taken a beating while she was stunned. She needed to fight back, to help, to tear into this shadowy form who represented everything wrong with the past two moons. Before she could get her bearings, however, Vixenstar got in one last attack-- tearing into her foreleg, fangs sinking deep into muscle and drawing blood. Don't scream, don't scream. The gray and white she-cat inhaled sharply, trying her best not to cry out in pain. Battered though she was, she would not let her enemy have that moral victory. She could at least be better than that. Nodding gratefully at Poppyshine, who had taken advantage of Vixenstar's lapse in judgement to stop paying attention to her, the former deputy finally sprung back into action. The leg that the Dark Forest leader's fangs were biting into suddenly snapped up and struck her in the face. Then, Perchfall used the momentary flinch to her advantage, and reared up on her hind legs, bearing down with both paws to strike again.
Perchfall used Front Paw Strike and Desperate Blows on Vixenstar, dealing 16 (10+6) damage and costing 14 (7+7) stamina.
"There's no such thing as cheating in battle. You're just too bent on your warrior code to use good tactics," she meowed to the both of them. The she-cat tried to slip underneath Vinethorn and attack her underbelly but failed in doing so. She struck out a paw to hit the gray tabby on her way up, and added with a smirk, "Looks like you don't deserve to be called a warrior. You can't even fight properly!"
Vinethorn used Switching Focus and Front Paw Strike, dealing 12 damage and costing 12 SP!

Owlshriek shook his head. It was just like the last gathering, where Whitesnake had made a fool out of him, making him question the warrior code, and Starclan even more than he had before. Gritting his teeth, the tom took a large breath and refocused himself. With a glint in his eyes, Owlshriek regained his composure and faced Vinethorn. "And there is a reason you concussed mouse brains are stuck as you are. Lacking honor, and compassion." He wrinkled his nose. "No matter how this ends, you will always be haunted by the fact that you don't belong here, nor in the stars. Stuck in the afterlife of mediocrity."
Owlshriek is no longer stunned.

"What do you know about fighting properly? You don't even hold the honor of a warrior," Hollyleaf growled. Blood dripped from the slash of her neck — but she was luckily able to avoid the throat. That didn't change the fact that it still stung, though. This has to be ended sooner. As much hopeless as it was, Hollyleaf longed for a chance for somehow — things would get better. But StarClan only could help them so much. And though both hers and Owlshriek's efforts weren't at waste, they still lacked the power to completely defeat Vinethorn. Her body was growing exhausted, and she too knew it was risky to continue any longer — yet anyway, she'd promised herself to not let Owlshriek down.
Even if it wasn't so major, her claws latched onto Vinethorn's ear, and with enough force — she slashed it, quickly pulling away.
Hollyleaf used Front Paw Strike, using 7 SP and dealing 8 damage!
As their opponent grew unable to fight, Dewlight stood straighter. No sense dedicating attention to an opponent who could no longer battle... Turning to her last apprentice, she tested her head briefly upon his head as she surveyed the battle. Sparkfrost was in trouble, and there was one dark forest cat that wasn't engaged... The plan formed quickly. "I'm going to try to land an attack on that one over there by himself. You go help Sparkfrost. When you're done, you can come help me again. Now hurry! I'll see you after." She mewed, swiftly nudging his head with her chin before darting away with a yowl and charging into Leechface, grabbing his scruff and shaking as hard as she could.
Dewlight used Scruff Shake, dealing 10 damage and costing 20 SP. Leechface is stunned for 2 turns.
