As the stars suddenly came back the clearing erupted in chaos. Whitesnake, the dark forest cat he hated the most suddenly attacked and then the battle during the gathering ensued. "Whitesnake!" he snarled as he saw him attacking Dovesight. He noticed that the young warrior seemed very tired and seemed almost out of life. "Fight a cat your own size coward!" he said lunghing towards the dark forest warrior and raking his claws while bowling him over
Owlshriek's invention was sudden — and she felt guilty for what he had to take for her, but she'll never forget it. "Thank you, Owlshriek," She wanted to say — but the way her eyes glanced at him for a moment had already said so. With Owlshriek beside her, Hollyleaf soon regained her motivation and prepared for another attack.
In a quick, but vengeful move to return what had been done to her — the warrior's teeth snapped at the DF cat. If not for the serious situation they were in, she would've snorted at her apprentice's comment. It was true, in a way.
Dovesight's victory was short-lived, as teeth quickly made their way into her neck. The young warrior screamed in pain, too scared to move in that moment. What was she supposed to do? What if she tried to escape, and instead tore her neck? Was she going to die?
Next thing she knew, the pain ebbed away as the pressure was removed from her neck. Blood dripped down her fur, and when she turned, she saw Moon in battle with Whitesnake. Thank StarClan!
She wanted to thank Moon out loud, but the battle was not yet over. She began to swing wildly at Whitesnake, fear still gripping her heart as she battled. She was just trying to land her claws wherever she could at this point.
Dovesight used Front Paw Strike and Desperate Blows, dealing 11 (4+7) damage and costing 14 (7+7) stamina.
"You speak so confidently!" Sparkfrost sqeaked, the air knocked from his lungs. It was such an oddly thrilling sensation to feel after so long. Having a body was so foreign, so strange. He'd almost missed it. Even though he was briefly dazed and certainly had to recover given the lack of familiarity with such a feeling, it hardly dampened his spirit, "We're just getting started!"
Claws dug into her pelt, and Dewlight hissed in pain. She still couldn't seem to shake the first hit that had landed on her.... Foxdung. Suddenly another figure appeared close to her, and she grinned at the familiar visage of a cat very dear to her. "Greypaw! No, Greynose!" She mewed, shakily getting to her paws and shaking the last of the dizziness off. "Once this is over.... I have so much to say to you. But first, let's end this." She mewed, bumping her apprentice's side gently as she crouched into a defensive position.
Just as Vixenstar was about to continue her assault of attacks on Perchfall, she felt the stinging of claws in her side. A hiss escaped her maw as she turned to face her next opponent, anger boiling in her eyes. ”Once I finish with tour Clanmate, you’re next, fleabag. You’ll be lucky if you get out with both eyes intact.” Turning to Perchfall, Vixenstar set her sights on the she-cat’s throat. Temptation to end their fight then and there coursed through her veins, but her desire to make the she-cat suffer pushed the thought away. Claws unsheathed, she raked wildly at the she-cat’s side, trying to ignore or toss away any attacks from the other opposing she-cat.
Vixenstar used Front Paw Strike, dealing -12 Health Points and using -7 Stamina Points.
The warrior's scream of pain was like music to Whitesnake's ears, and he reached up a paw, aiming to smack her once across the side of the head. The movement might've appeared playful had his claws not been unsheathed and bloody. A shape slammed into his side and Whitesnake let out a low, menacing growl as the apprentice he'd roughed up at that first gathering appeared. He was a stubborn one, Whitesnake knew, and that stubbornness would lead to his own downfall. Just as soon as he made sure this warrior stayed down, first.
Whitesnake used Front Paw Blow for -5 sp, dealing -7+2 damage.
Moon looked at the dead dark forest warrior in fury. "Why? You bully and hit the clan cats because we are living and you are dead. You already had your chance." he hissed and then leaped towards him again this time doing a different move and lashing out with sheathed paws instead.
Moon used Front Paw Strike on Whitesnake Whitesnake 51/ 100 HP (-7) 159 / 180 SP (164 - 5)
Vinethorn's attack didn't meet its intended target, instead, it hit a cat who jumped in front of the gray tabby she-cat. She was shocked when the tom started talking and insulted her. Her curled ears flattened against her head as she tried to figure out what to do about this conundrum. The she-cat biting her forced Vinethorn to snap back to reality. She started to charge toward the gray tabby, but quickly doubled back and hit the dark tom.
Vinethorn used Dishonorable Charge, dealing 12 (10+2) damage and costing 20 SP! Owlshriek is stunned for two turns; Random Recall is ineffective!
"Sadly our little dance has to end sooner rather than later even if it's just getting started." She lashed out with her claws as she continued to speak like she was holding a normal conversation. "And our dance will end with me on top. Sorry we can't continue it." She told the tom, even as claws dug into his side.
Sorrelfern used Front Paw Strike dealing 10 (+2) damage, -7 SP

He hadn't expected it, though, he really should have. Owlshriek saw the shadowy cat go towards Hollyleaf again, despite his best efforts. But, as he moved to intercept once again, the air left his lungs, and the warrior staggered back. Stars flickered in his eyes, and the tom managed to cough out" "...So bad at fighting that you need to cheat, I see." Though, his struggle to regain air told him that he needed help quickly before the battle was lost. "Cloverheart, please--" He managed to take in some air, but certainly not enough to strike back.
Owlshriek is stunned for another turn.
Vinethorn 71/100 HP 134/180 SP
Hollyleaf 26/53 HP 84/120 SP
Owlshriek (stunned) 19/40 HP 95/100 SP

Poppyshine hissed at Vixenstar’s retort and her hair stood on end. Violence was not something that she enjoyed, but when this creature was a part of an entire group attacking her clan, she would not lay down and let it happen—and she certainly would not let Perchfall take on Vixenstar all alone either.
She moved forward and swiftly raked her claws down Vixenstar’s back. Her heart hammered in her chest and after a brief pause, Poppyshine hit Vixenstar’s face as well. Her fur bristled and she shifted back and forth on her paws, wishing she could do more somehow.
Poppyshine used Front Paw Strike, dealing 8 damage and costing 7 SP. Poppyshine also used Desperate Blows, dealing 5 damage and costing 7 SP.
Perchfall was extremely frustrated at herself. Why couldn't she attack? Why were her legs so shaky? Had one blow truly made her so dizzy that she could barely stand? Poppyshine lunged in for another attack, fighting the bloodthirsty ghost who had made RiverClan a living Dark Forest for so long, and all that Perchfall could do was stand there and try not to fall over. The world swam around her, blurry shapes fading in and out of focus. She did, however, catch the threat that Vixenstar made as yet another blow hit her side. This time, claws were unsheathed, and the former deputy couldn't keep in a hiss of pain at the stinging wound that opened up from the shadow's claws. Keep it together! What is wrong with you? Fight back! Her head began to clear, but she couldn't react quite fast enough to get in another attack just yet. "If you lay a single claw on Poppyshine," she managed to say, "I will personally make sure that you never again return, in this life or the next."
Skulking around, slinking through the growing assembly of cats, Leechface grumbled under his rotten breath. "why even bother?! -absolutely worthless... such a hassle..." No one took notice of his rambling muttering as he settled onto his haunches in a shadowed spot. It was good choice, allowing him to get a good view in case something were to happen, not that anything would happen.
He could not have been more wrong. Eyes squinted, then widened at the sight of bright glimpses, stars, falling from the blackened sky. A growl of exasperation rumbled in his throat and his claws dug into the ground. A part of him was excited, he admitted, at the prospect of sending these relentless fighters straight back into whatever abyss they'd been in.
Hungry for battle, his wretched appearance got an addition of glinting malicious eyes and a sickening grin.
Leechface [DF] is open to engage in battle!
Steady pawsteps brought her into the gathering, her tail swishing calmly. Martenpaw, though eager to join her siblings, lingered behind. There was talk - rumors - that something big was going to happen that very night. Lately, her feelings were mush, a confused jumble of hope, fear, and overwhelming desire. Recent events had left her helpless. There was nothing to be calculated, nothing predictable. Hunting and training were the only things keeping her together, keeping her sane. And family.
Could it be? Starclan- Starclan's here! The first glimmers of hope bloomed at the sight of the stars, and her heart lifted. The question of what the dark forest cats would do about it still remained, however. Quicker than she could register, fighting broke out, already yowls and battle cries rising in the air. So much was flashing before her eyes and all she could do was stand frozen, terrified. Martenpaw! Come on! This isn't you! Look, even Dovesight is fighting! Wait- no!
"Dovesight!" Her delay in time had brought her to her sister's aid too late. Rushing over, she tried her best to be of help.
Martenpaw is open to fight!

Hollyleaf tensed, gritting her teeth as she prepared to get attacked Vinethorn — but the Dark Forest molly had changed her opponent midway, slamming herself into Owlshriek's poor figure. "Go, rest, Owlshriek. I'll handle this vixen myself," She spoke into the tom's ear, just enough for him to hear. Not allowing time for the tom to reply, she'd nudge him away from the chaos — and hopefully, somewhere near Cloverheart, before glaring at the cat now facing her. "You really could only hope for a chance when you're able to find a way to cheat. You don't deserve to have ever been considered a warrior."
Swiftly lowering herself down, Hollyleaf aimed for the DF cat's soft underbelly — but paws failed her, and she was unable to reach them in time. With a slight growl, she stood once again.
Hollyleaf used Belly Rake for 25 SP, it was Unsuccessful! She recoils a penalty of -5 damage to herself.
