Call for Blood [SkC vs WC]

It occurred to Wolfstar, as he advanced on the downed apprentices, that though they'd come here with the intent to make WindClan sorry for their treachery, that they also had another goal... one that in the heat of battle, he'd completely disregarded. Dawnhawk. He paused, glancing over his shoulder, around the camp that had turned into a battlefield, but there was no sign of that familiar golden pelt.

No...he couldn't have gotten away AGAIN. Wolfstar snarled under his breath, whipping around in a frenzy to search for him, but he'd barely taken a step when another force slammed into him, this one much bigger than the apprentice who had attacked him moments ago. RiverClan scent flooded his nostrils as the cat pinned him, and, momentarily stunned, Wolfstar spat out only one word, laced with all the hatred and vitriol he could manage. "Ivystar."

Wolfstar is stunned for this turn.

This she-cat was strange. Juniperlight paused, doubt beginning to seep through him. WindClan had certainly acted treacherously in taking in Dawnhawk, but they seemed so… unaware. It would be unfair to call them dim. The golden tom was so good at talking circles around others that it was possible they were truly innocent. However, Juniperlight wouldn’t go against his leader’s orders, and WindClan couldn’t escape from their foolishness without first learning from it. Though the anger dropped from his face, the black tom was still pushed on by adrenaline. He did not return her strange and unexpected smile; he only lunged forward and snapped at her with his bared teeth, taking care to go for her shoulder and not her neck.

The two she-cats did not trade any words. There wasn’t time to think, and what could Goldenfang say? This young cat, probably an apprentice, was only following orders, just as Goldenfang was only defending her camp. Nothing personal. She snarled as her opponent dug teeth into her fur and drew a paw back to connect powerfully with the side of the apprentice’s head.

Briarthorn hissed as the feeling of claws raked across her belly, a twinge of pain in her gut as she stared the she-cat down. Panting, she allowed herself a moment to breathe before lunging forward and clamping down on her tail. With a sharp yank, Briarthorn was able to throw the she-cat off balance and give herself the advantage of time- surely, she'd be able to attack once more before the she-cat was able to recover from such an attack.

Eyes narrowed as she stalked toward Wolfstar, Ivystar shook out her pelt as she prepared to attack him once again. "Wolfstar," She spat directly in his face, getting closer and closer with each step forward. "I knew you were a petty idiot, but not quite to this degree. I'd be ashamed to serve under such a painfully oblivious leader such as yourself." She growled, launching herself forward and biting down hard on the tom's scruff.

Ivystar used Snap, dealing -12 damage and using -7 Stamina Points. Wolfstar is no longer stunned.

The SkyClanner wheeled around with a hiss. Flypaw snarled back, even as his ears pressed flat against his skull, and took a swipe that hit nothing but air as the SkyClanner flung himself to the ground, out of range. Moments later, a set of white-hot lines opened along Flypaw’s belly. Too shocked to make a sound, he stumbled back. For several long heartbeats, the almost entirely foreign sensation of blood seeping into his silky fur drowned out everything else—but he couldn’t see it, which, in the end, made all the difference. He shoved those thoughts aside and threw himself forward again, snapping like a dog at the SkyClanner’s front legs.

Nighthaze, eyes blurred with tears, raised his head when he heard, "You'll pay for what you did to her!" As soon as he turned, he saw the form of a cat coming at him faster than he could dodge it, he was a blur. "I'm sorr-" Nighthaze tried to yell back at the cat but it was in vain, when he was hit he went down hard. "Starclan I'm sorry..." That was all he could say as his vision swam, and darkness consumed his vision. Between the few moments of consciousness and unconsciousness, Nighthaze could feel the sting of his wounds, and the ache of his head, and could only hope that this didn't kill him.

Ashfall flinched back as she was hit, catching her on the muzzle as she withdrew from her bite. She opened her eyes, and the other cat was gone. Good, no need to hurt her further. Her gaze swept the clearing, some were unconscious, others too wounded to fight. She spotted her mother momentarily, fighting, but knew that she could hold her own, and that Muddyleap would surely come in to help if there was any sign of that changing. She quickly spotted a Skyclan warrior, not in battle, and let out a growl as she rushed toward them. She leaped, claws outstretched, landing square on her opponent.

Bearspirit dropped his opponent quickly and raised a claw to do more damage, but stopped. It was over. He didn't need to beat the young tom senseless. Bearspirit's eyes flipped over to Swiftspirit whom was bleeding profusely. He bolted immediately to her side and offered her a shoulder to lean on. Windclan and Riverclan together could handle what Skyclan warriors were left. Bearspirit wanted to guard her, as that was all he knew how to do. Skyclan leadership was especially furious... the medicine cat had already taken a life from the Windclan leader. Bearspirit had watched Wolfstar take out two apprentices, which in turn had made Bearspirit's blood boil. And the Skyclan deputy was breaking Dayspring's leg??? He would remember this. For now, he would stay on the sidelines and guard Swiftspirit. If anyone dared come near, he would unleash all of his fury on them.

"What can I do?" He asked her with fear in his voice. "You should lay down. Where is your clan's medicine cat?" He was too panicked to remember what he looked like. He certainly didn't remember the name.

Bearspirit kept a watchful eye on the rest of the battle... and his jaw dropped in utter disbelief as Mountainheart turned on her own. "Mountainheart! Why? You traitor!" He yowled furiously. Right then, he was tempted to charge her and tear her to pieces... but he refrained. Swiftspirit might die.... and he would never forgive himself if he let her die alone.

He stood over her like a guard dog, his stance suggesting he was going to destroy anyone that came too close. "Swiftspirit please keep talking to me... please! I need to know that you're okay!"

Bearspirit can absolutely still be attacked!

Ashstorm hated this.  She hated to see the claws of cats ripping through the other cats fur.  The blood that spilled from other cats wounds and now covered the ground wasn't the best of sights either.  She stayed to the side, not wanting to get involved for the majority of the time.  She stayed towards the back not wanting to fight anyone and hoping no one would fight her.  She just watched while the fighting went on around her. She didn't want to fight, but was prepared to if need be.

When the SkyClanner’s teeth sank into Flypaw’s skin, Flypaw yelped and pulled back, widening the punctures as he struggled. “Oh—ow—really? I’m surprised you even know how to fight”—he finally yanked his foreleg out of the other apprentice’s grasp—“without your stupid trees around!” With a few hobbling steps to build distance, he pounced. Though his injured leg gave way on impact, the others found their grip on the SkyClanner’s back. It wouldn’t last—he would’ve had better luck trying to pin down a turtle—but he dug his claws in anyway.

Ravenclaw was halted by a WindClan cat as she ran towards the camp, yowling as she was hit hard by paws and claws. She whirled on the cat who had attacked her, snarling viciously. "Den of murderers!" she spat, leaping at the other cat and grabbing his scruff in her teeth. She shook him hard, hoping that it rattled that windblown brain of his.

Well, here they came. Shrikestorm hissed lowly, his claws pulling themselves out of the soft, springy grass. Dawnhawk was no longer there, but it looked as if SkyClan wouldn't listen to reason. At least Dawnhawk was off their territory. Now he just had to get rid of SkyClan as well, and things would be fine. Eyes zooming through the chaos, he caught eye with a SkyClan cat in the fray: near others, yet alone all the same. He ran forward, jumping at them with claws unsheathed. "Run away," he muttered, slashing with his claws all the same. "You don't have to die here." He hit with his paws, once, then twice, getting a good few knocks on the SkyClan cat.

Hayglow let out a yelp  as the tom lunged forward, sinking his teeth into her shoulder. It was a bitter reminder that yeah, this was currently war and another fight for her life. She shoved the tom away with her paw, ears slicking back as a soft fearful growl start to rise in her throat, feeling the panic heart beat returning. Th-This wasn't the same as when she fought Asylum, they weren't aiming to... Her gaze flickered to the side, seeing the still form of Lilacstar - not a breath in her body. Her breath caught in her throat, her growl dying. "...Lilac...?"' she weakly managed, before she spun to look at Juniperlight with a new sense of fear, eyes widening as she took a shakey step back. "I-I...I-I don't even want to fight. He isn't even here." she growled. "We didn't know who he was and then he disappear not long after the Gathering and...Why are you doing this?" she sobbed, before she lunged forward with a tearful yowl and sliced at the half-blind tom.

Muddyleap huffed, straightening up with a bit of pride as he had managed to drop Newtpaw at a good spot near the Clan's entrance - where he wouldn't get stepped on but easy enough to spot by SkyClan once they were leaving. He turned, paws itching to get back into the battle but came to a halt as he glanced down as his bloody leg. Right...That...Wasn't good, right? He had promised not to get hurt and he felt just fine but that was something... He glanced up, looking around until he spotted Smallbean huddling off to the side. His ears perked up, weaving his way towards the medicine cat "Smallbean!" he called as he reached him, coming to a stop with a sheepish look. "So, um, I-I know I'm not suppose to fight cause its dangerous and stuff but I kinda got attacked and I won! I think. He is name is Newt and I think we are friends? A-Anyways..." he stuck out his bleeding leg. "This is bad, right? Can you...Do something?"
