Tara's War Pigs (Characters)

Bloodstrike has the base coat color of a dark siamese, with dark brown points like a siamese cat does as well. He also has a freakish mutation of displaying tabby stripes, also dark brown and edged with a reddish fur color similar to dried blood in appearance, hence his name. The dash of white on his underbelly is edged very subtly in a golden cream color as well. Bloodstrike's eyes are a light, hunter green and he sports a pink nose rather than a dark one. Bloodstrike stands at 16 inches at the shoulder and weighs 20lbs. His size is comparable to a bobcat, with large muscles and a sturdy frame to boot. He is covered in scars, each one with a story to tell.

Dawnhawk is a pale-furred tom with golden strands of fur woven throughout his pelt. He has a handsome, symmetrical face with fiery azure eyes set in it and a pale pink nose. Almost completely white the the exception of a faint cream on her back, resembling her father's coat if it had been washed out a bit. She is also a tortie point, with the darkest points being the specking on her face whereas her paws a dappled with cream and white. She has medium-length fur like her father does, but her eyes are a blue-green, a mix of both parents' eye colors. Moonshine is 10" at the shoulder and weighs 10lbs, the literal average for any domestic feline. Her build is slightly on the thin side but still fairly lean. She managed to inherit a beautiful symmetrical face from her father.

Soft, yellowish tans with a white underbelly. He has markings similar to a "marble striped bengal" and the colorations of both the original bengal cats as well as the snow bengals. He however, is not a bengal cat at all in breed. What makes him stand out from his siblings is the fact that he has a white back between caramel colored stripes. His stripes' colors range from a warm caramel to a java bean dark brown, mostly the darkest ones around his legs. He also has black middle toes on both forepaws. His eyes are a very pale, sage green. He has the classic tabby "M" on his forehead as well. Bearspirit will be a fairly large cat as an adult, about 14 inches at the shoulder and weigh 16lbs.

Bearspirit as a kit had always been cautious and attentive to the world around him. While his siblings would be asleep, he would be awake lost in deep thought. When his siblings were active, he was always right there with them. Overall, he could be seen as fairly normal as a kit. As Bearspirit ages, and especially after the tragedy that lead him to find the clans to begin with, he grows more serious and takes on the role of a sentry. His natural caution and observation tendencies make him perfect for spotting things or cats that might be... undesirable. By no means is Bearspirit a coward and is as fierce as they come. That said, he does have a gentle heart and will go to great lengths to protect kits and those that are otherwise unable to defend themselves. He is a kind tom, though his sense of humor can be a bit off or cynical at times, of which he will immediately apologize for and shut his mouth if it was not well received.

A mystery to cats is the science of genetics, but Darkspirit is a chimera, having absorbed his brother in the womb. The front half of him is a golden tabby, where the back half of him is a charcoal tabby. He has one fiery blue eye, one that matches his father's perfectly, whereas the other eye is liquid gold. A throwback to his grandfather Bloodstar, Darkkit will grow to be thick-legged and broad-shouldered. He is short-furred, apparently not in inheritance of the medium-furred gene that both of his parents possessed. His fur is very soft to the touch. As he becomes older, it becomes more apparent that he has inherited Dawnhawk's shimmering fur gene as well.

While not the most extroverted of toms, he is by no means unconfident. He seems a little bit angry all of the time, but he keeps his emotions from spilling out into situations or other cats that don't deserve them. He is very work driven, seeming at his best when he is working hard and has a goal to accomplish. He becomes irritable when he has nothing to do. He has little regard for laws and rules, believing the moral good is more important than being obedient one hundred percent of the time. As he grows older, it is very apparent that he believes in killing if it's to eliminate evil from the world, rather than try to fight it with tolerance and understanding. He is very rigid in this way, having heard the stories of Dawnhawk and his many chances to turn his life around, but chose not to in the end.
