May Gathering 2020 [Sitewide Plot Finale]

Honeypaw absolutely cowered before the Righteous Few as they appeared before the five Clans. She slowly backed up to hide behind Mossbloom, peeking around her multi-colored pelt time stare out at the StarClan cats in fear. They were here, and they looked very angry. There was definitely going to be a fight....

She pricked her ears at Spottedstar’s announcement. SkyClan wasn’t going to fight? Thank StarClan! Well ... the rest of StarClan that weren’t standing before them now. She looked up at Mossbloom and softly mewed, ”I-I’d be little to n-no use in a fight like this. I’m g-gonna go back with SkyClan. P-Please be safe.” She rose up to her paws and quickly sprinted after her father and the rest of her Clan.

Sparkfire narrowed her eyes murderously at the self-proclaimed Righteous Few as they appeared and began spouting nonsense about loyalty and purity that she felt they didn’t even believe in. These cats standing before the Clans tonight had killed so many and sickened others, including her father. She had pushed herself to the absolute limit to retrieve catmint for Asterspark’s greencough, only just barely returning to Mothglow with the herbs in time. And then these fox-hearts had the gall to infect him with a different kind of sickness, and an incurable one at that. They had already killed her mother as well, and they were trying to take her father now, too. She would not let them win. Asterspark’s life depended on it.

With a roar of fury, Sparkfire launched herself immediately into battle right after her brother. She took aim on the first starry pelt she came across and tackled the StarClan cat hard, knocking them to the ground.

Sparkfire used Run-and-Tackle on Liondawn, dealing 10 (+3) damage and costing 4 SP.

Night Finesse is in affect, dealing an additional +2 damage.

Faltering. The plan, everything he had worked for. Faltering. Galestar swept to the aide of the medicine cat apprentice of her clan, Brackenstar was brutalized, and Morningpaw, organizer of the rebellion, was crushed under a stony paw. Badgerstar grunted as he was besieged by a living warrior, Dustcloud, of his own clan. His eyes flickered up at the battle scene that unfolded before him. A few little warriors could not rise against the ranks of StarClan. He was sure of it. “You really don’t know when to quit… do you?”

The black-and-white tom gripped the cat by the scruff, shaking her body like a ragdoll, with the power of a seasoned leader of the heavens. He let go, watching the warrior crumple and sucked in a breath. “I am quite tired of these games. You could have been great. Now look at you.”

Beepaw gasped, head twisting as he hunted for a clanmate. Harefoot? Cedarheart? Cherryblossom, Vixenpaw? Twisting his head, he saw another clanmate, though she wasn’t family. Robinloft. It suddenly hit Beepaw that the situation he now found himself in was one of advantage. ThunderClan was with him. ThunderClan would protect him. He would protect ThunderClan. He had to! He scrambled in the dirt before making a mad dash towards a dead WindClanner, grabbing the creature's tail and yanking him nearly off his paws with his huge weight. “Hey, rabbit-head!” he gasped, shaking out his pelt and grinning like a rabid creature. This was it! His big moment!

Larkflight gasped as Morningpaw was killed. She glanced at Smallbean and pressed into him. "Help me. They'll pay." Her voice was low and furious as she struck out at a random starry cat, rearing up and lashing her front paws in a frenzy of rage.

Redpaw didn't know what to do. Everything was a midst of chaos, so he simply ran to Swansong. "Swansong! I- who- you, what should I do? Just tell me, and I'll do it, but I don't know what to do right now."

Suddenly, before the StarClan tom even had a chance to answer, movement behind him near the great rock drew Ashpaw's attention.  To his horror, he suddenly remembered something Morningpaw had said, which in his fear he had missed; she wanted to fight solo, for the sake of them all.  Eyes slowly widening from pure fear, he watched as his new friend went up against that she-cat, the demon who had murdered Dappleshine's daughter, and held her own for a moment...until it was all over.

With a sickening crack, Morningpaw lay limp on the ground, and chaos erupted.

"No...you...you monsters!!"  The yowl ripped from his throat by fury, Ashpaw wanted to dash forward and put an end to Lavanderbreeze, but suddenly the tom in front of him came back into focus, and the sudden appearance of Honeytongue gave him confidence.  With a deep growl, the small gray tom leaped for Larchneedle as the she-cat at his paws was pulled away, and he slashed with all his might.  "Your worthless ideals killed her!!"

Flowerthorn heard Spottedstar's call. A call to leave, to not be involved in this mess that the other clans have found themselves in. The pale warrior shook her head, her eyes falling to Foxfire as he defered to her choice. "We are leaving. If Spottedstar says so then we follow." The other clans didn't matter, just Skyclan. If the rest of her clan wanted to stay and die, then they could die. She would always follow Spottedstar. The pale warrior stood and took off after Spottedstar before she could be dragged into the fight.

Ploverpuddle didn't know what to do. He didn't know what to make of the situation. Yellow eyes looked upon the chaos with fear, causing him to shrink back in his spot. What did they expect him to do? Both Raventail and Dappleshine were fighting so why couldn't he? Why was fear eating at him? Why did he still lack the energy to step into the fight?

Stormbringer could feel the will to fight in the living cats growing by the second. After each moment the fear grew in her chest too. She didn't want to lose anyone knowing the five's power but they couldn't just let these cats rule them with fear.

So as soon as the battle broke out Stormbringer found herself joining it. Among the chaos the gray deputy searched for her mates. Spotting that they had already joined the fight as soon as she made up her mind. Ivystar was closer.. Quickly the deputy joined her leader in fighting one of the starclan cats, not ready to risk her leader or her mate.

Vixenstar merely laughed in the face of what the Clan cats said to her- if they really thought that their words and actions had an effect on her, they were sadly mistaken. She simply watched as the events went down; she expected nothing less of the peculiar rebels, with their long-winded speeches and feelings. A grimace did worm it's way onto her maw when Lavenderbreeze's paws made contact with Morningpaw's head, the sickening crunch reaching her ears almost immediately. It had to be done, though- snuffing the flames was their main priority. The fluffy leader had to admit, though, that Dappleshine did take her by surprise with her attack. Not bothering to raise a paw to her injuries, she leaped forward and pinned the she-cat to the ground. "Don't get too ahead of yourself, darling, or you'll end up exactly where your daughter did."

Vixenstar used Leap-and-Hold, dealing -15 Health Points and using -10 Stamina Points. Dappleshine is stunned for 1 turn.

Morningpaw spoke, and she fell mid-sentence; and all at once, chaos broke out across the clearing. The time for action had arrived.

She was brave. Revolutionary, even; someone that had earned her respect almost instantly and kept it.

And her work would not be in vain. There would be peace, after this. Whatever it took to achieve it.

Batbite wasted no time as the war began; rising to her paws and racing into the fray. Her target was a cat distracted, if only momentarily so - most of them were, in the midst of a fight, and she doubted anyone was expecting her to tackle them out of nowhere. But tackle she did, raking at her opponent with claws unsheathed and a battle cry, a single word shouted at the top of her lungs.

A primal roar blasted from Silverpaw's mouth as Morningpaw was struck down, and she simply stared for a second, not believing her eyes. I promise you, Morningpaw, your sacrifice will not be in vain. As she was going for Brackenstar, a yowl hit her ears, and she turned around to see Honeytongue and yet another starry cat fighting. As Ashpaw raced to help, Silverpaw followed, determined to help her mentor at any cost. She lashed a paw out at the StarClanner's face, unsheathed claws striking him in the eye.

Silverpaw used 'Front Paw Strike', dealing 6 damage and costing 4 stamina.
